I'm using AICP CM13 at the moment and my screen colors look different to Oxygen and Hydrogen OS. Is there a way to get the punch of AMOLED back?

I have this weird touch lagging issues especially when multi touching is done on the screen. It wont stabilized and keep moving all around the screen this is persistent on all oreo roms i tried. I am on RR nougat for now but I really like oreo roms. This issue doesnt persist on my other redmi note 4x with an older tianma display. but on the new one with ebbg display and goodix touch panel it is persistent and really annoying the only solution is to downgrade to nougat but support for nougat is vanishing. Flashing kernel doesnt help at all too.

There us yellow tint in custom roms and too the refresh rate is slow.. motion blur.

Everyone, just not everyone notices it. It's also in MIUI not just custom roms.

I have read in some forum that actually the last MIUI beta based on Android pie has reduced drastically the screen bleeding problem at the bottom of the display! Does anyone confirm that?

I am currently running pixel expierence rom but I saw Lineage Os is official released . But I also heard about xiaomi.eu all sound pretty good. What's your favourite and can you write some things why you use this rom ?
I learned to love the app gestures with the one bar.
On my Nexus 6 custom roms I loved the long press for torch feature.

I tried eu miui 10 pie, miui pro 9.1.24, and oxygen os port 9.04.......if they fixed 3.5 mm audio output and Fm radio in the oxygen os port it will be the best but so far miuipro is best for me overall!

Hmmm. Ive heard that the best one today is OOS ..oxygen os. Ive read most of the oos users claim that its a very smooth gaming rom.. and im planning to try that one of these days..
Btw.. i dont give much time on any roms aesthetically. As long as its smooth in gaming.. it definitely suits my taste..
Hi everyone! My father has bought a new phone so he will be giving his note 4 to me(Snapdragon). I don't like MIUI and especially when it's on a old phone. In that case AOSP ROMs are best.
Currently, i am using Le2 which is close to specs of redmi note 4 but the ROM development of this phone is bad. I am using lineage os 16.0 on my le 2 and it gives only 3-4 hrs SOT, huge network drops, performance is fine. Before it, I was on LeMax 2 and it was good but battery was not that good. Yeah, I am degrading on hardware but I am excited for redmi. Their ROMs are always good.
Redmi has good development support.
I am looking for a ROM that will be stable. Also should I flash android 10 ROM now or should I wait?
TLR; Which ROM should I flash that will give me best of this phone? Both battery wise and performance wise.
From my point of view, the best is the pixel experience. It has a very good performance, an excellent battery consumption and the rom is very clean, it has no blotware. Try it will not disappoint you.

Thanks for suggestions. Can you please tell me Which one? Pie or android 10? And if you don't mind can you please do a short review of how your experience was. I checked android 10 thread of PE I found out there are features missing like nav bar and gesture bar.

If you want the most stable one then go with pie
If you want a beta one and Android 10 features like gestures then go with 10 - the back gesture doesn't work in all Android Roms till now -
And another thing is , don't go with pixel experience..
Try resurrection remix , it's got the same ui as stock Android and pixel experience and all it's features plus a whooooooooole lot of customization options available , you can tinker around the settings for an hour every day for a month and you wouldn't be done
tldr/ try resurrection remix it's the best
