Alert slider not really working? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, so far I have tried many rom, but only OxygenOS have fully working alert slider. But other roms not really working. The alert does not change if the slider move too fast. Is this common bug or am I wrong? Thanks.

Recommendation for a good ROM

For a long time I was using the Litening ROM v2.2 which was fine apart from the occasional reboots. Anyway, I recently upgraded to the latest stable version which is v3.6 and have immediately noticed that all the video playback is glitchy. There's also no way to customise the settings toggle button in the notification bar.
Can anyone recommend a Samsung based ROM on ICS that is stable, has no problems with video codecs/playback and allows customisation of the toggle buttons?
TIA
Tweaky Rom, i never tried it but it looks pretty promising. It's Samsung based.
Oh and wrong section, these types of threads aren't allowed. You're supposed to try out roms for yourself. This thread will be closed soon. Cheers.

Yeh, wrong place to post but your new so I am sure they will forgive ya. The thing is, it is not neccesarily the rom you choose, it is how you install it and how comfortable you feel using it. Try RR, that is Ressurection Remix, I have tried nearly 23 different roms and still keep coming back to this. Remember, read, study, install, configure to your liking. Eventually through trial and error you will learn what makes a rom 'good' and what makes a rom 'bad', the enjoyment is in the tasting of different flavours. Enjoy.
This isn't development related and nobody can answer this question for you.
The only way is to flash and try the ROMs for yourself.

Oxygenify - Make your ROM look like Oxygen OS

Hello Guys
First of all I'm not responsible if anything happens to your device!
I tested this on my own Phone running CM13.
This is a Xposed Module to mimick some functions of Oxygen OS by OnePlus.
Its intended to work on CM.
I built it for devices with a notification slider, like the OnePlus X or the OnePlus 2.
Features:
Remove the ability to stop priority mode and silence mode from the volume slider
Custom Toast-Like messages when the Do Not Disturb Mode changes
Please keep in mind that this is a test version!
Please report all bugs!

Why do you think that, what would you change, I'm open about any kind of ideas? Isn't that kinda like it looks on Oxygen OS?
I only know how it looked on OOS 2.2 and not 3.0
Hello, does not work on Oneplus X CM13.
Notification works, but volume buttons still bypass slider mode.

I have no toast after change with slider on CM13 from seraph8. There's icon in notifybar. I think that's better. Maybe make toast as option?

You have a OP2 I suppose? Can you check the Xposed log? I don't have a OnePlus X but it's not hooking on anything device specific. What do you mean with icon in notifybar? The one that's always there?
Yes, OP2. I have a slider set to ring-vibration-silence except alarm. When the switch is in notifybar icon of vibration or silence. Toast not necessary. But it's just a detail, appworks good. Protocol - I do not know where to find.
Works great on latest cm13 by Seraph08. I missed the toast notification thanks, but it needs more beautifycation.
Can you enable options for slider to change to vibrate mode? The previous Alert Slider module doesn't support CM13
Can you add something to hide the "dont disturb mode" on lock screen?
Lp 5.1.1
Thanks
It would be nice if you could use only one of the features. I dont want the toast message but the volume slider tweak sounds awesome.

CM13 Notification Slider

Hey all, I've got the latest CM13 nightly on my OPX as well as the Xposed Framework. I've been trying to figure out how to get my notification slider to work as follows:
Alarms Only
Vibrate Only
All Sounds
However, I'm only able to get Alarms Only, Priority Only, and All Sounds. I've tried VibrateMode but it didn't seem to make a difference unless there's some other settings I'd have to change to get that figured out.
Surely someone else has done this before. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
Same here! Waiting for a solution too
It's called VibrateMode, using it myself.
Also, do u guys know a way to remove the priority notifications from the status bar on the OPX? It's utmost annoying
There's a Xposed module for this which only works on Oxygen OS.
DU and Cardinal have options to set notification slider to Vibrate and Silent.
xposed module VibrateMode works like a charm
meets your requirements 100%

Thank you guys. Was looking for that feature for a long time! Really appreciate that hint. :good: Will try it out.
Edit: Installed the module. Don't know if I am doing something wrong, but nothing changed... I'm on Sultans CM 13 Rom. Does anyone knows if it is compatible with this Rom? Any help appreciated.

Help finding a custom ROM with these specific features

Hello guys I have been using kenzo since like four months ago, I have been flashing many ROMs, but perhaps not as many as you have, so lately I have been fond of using navbar buttons because its more responsive compared to hardware keys ,
My request here is
Please help me find a ROM which
1. Has the option to disable or enable both navbar and hardware buttons
2.is Aosp based (its OK if CM based tho, but we all know even cm13 has loads of unsolved issues such as stuttering ui, battery drain, etc )
3.is on android Nougat , but MM is OK tho
Thanks for the attention and help :fingers-crossed:

Camera losing focus on Pie roms

I've tried many Pie roms, and most of them seem to have problem with Google Camera. My camera is always losing focus on GCam, while the camera app coming with the roms worked fine. Google camera from Play Store also worked fine, but it didn't have HDR+. I've used many different GCam apks, from the oldest to the lastest, but this problem keeps happening. Is this GCam's problem or Pie's? Is there any way to solve this? Thanks in advance.
I'm currently using AEX Pie 20181028 with its kernel. I even tried to flash older firmware (of both MIUI 9 and 10) but no help.
I have tried many roms. The only pie rom that doesn't have this problem is ArrowOS pie
Try it out

Does ArrowOS have the ability to stop head ups like this? Check if you can find it in the rom's customization menu -> Notification or Status bar, something like that.
