Bugs/Issues

Why dont u start fixing the exising bugs in your ROMS like defining denials about additional selinux policies and other RIL bugs??? I bet if opt_telephony has support for Squashed support for RIL subclass which supports the flag BOARD_RIL_CLASS from s2_common, then there must be some kind of avc denial from rild.te Check logcat and last_kmsg.

review video and pics
thanks

Those fixes are scheduled for the next build.. and it does have this commit - https://github.com/t-rex600/android...mmit/224bdc7b6620988babe15cb7915c9e7039d86995

Advice
ALWAYS MAKE NANDROID WHEN THE ROM SEEMS "STABLY" INSTALLED, then make change in settings.
For now, you will no play with "adding tile" option or you will get systemui FC and no way to be back except restore nandroid.
just let know some warriors that try this promissing rom

Having layers support is a big plus, and there is even SupeSu 2.52 working very well.
Just a shame about the Sim Card issue.

Are you meaning i9100G? This ROM is just compatible with i9100 Exynos based SoC's. AFAIK i9100G variant has TI OMAP 4430 SoC . Don't try to flash it or you'd brick your phone

The I9100p should be compatible as the only difference is the nfc ability, which, of course, you will have lost when you rooted.

NFC works in a rooted i9100p, but not with this ROM, maybe it'll work soon with the new patch.
AFAIK i9100p hasn't LTE, just i9210 or i9105 variants have LTE (a.k.a Galaxy SII HD/PLUS based on Broadcom BC28155 SoC...)
So, please go to settigs>about phone and look for your phone model before you do something bad
As I said, this ROM will work only with Exynos variants

I had a I9100p and nfc was lost after rooting, tried the nfc enabler patch too, which didn't work for me. If nfc works on I9100p why the need to find a patch? Thanks for the heads up and sorry for the OT.

Amazing !

Great to see that you fixed the major issues.
I have been experiencing a great deal of screen flicker and apps force closing, anyone else with the same issue?
I am unable to provide a log as I have to go away on business so have gone back to the stable Oct-os.
I loved how smooth this ROM felt though.

First, this is a smooooth rom, very fast. It's great, but yes I had a few screen flickers, and the boot animation was a white square. Also I couldn't find root access. Normally it's in developer settings, but not in this rom. I didn't try flashing supersu. I've moved to a different rom now, but definately a great prospect, I'll keep checking on this.....

There's a terrible deadlock issue on all JSS15J ROMs where the screen freezes for some seconds and then it goes back to normal. PA team had to rebase their work after a few tries and now uses a JWR66V base with JSS15J fixes and improvements. It's still a mystery so far, no one has figured out the root of the problem.

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP and CyanogeMod project. The source code is updated frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features at the same time.
The Mfunz Forums launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better.
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development. Newcomers are always welcomed!
Official website: http://www.mfunz.com
Types of Releases:
MoKee OpenSource has 4 kinds of releases: official release, beta, nightlies, and unofficial builds.
Official release: This version is tested throughly by developers and users, so it is the most stable build
Beta: When a device is newly added, there will be beta versions for testing, but there might be unknown bugs and problems
Nightlies: Nightlies are compiled automatically by servers, so it will have the latest features but beware of uncompleted works
Unofficial builds: These builds are compiled from source or ported by non MoKee developers
Official Releases:
MoKee Open Source supports many devices, but the developers may not have all devices in hand, so if there are device maintainers that can help out, the official releases will be decided by them, MoKee Open Source will only maintain the nightlies to ensure the usability of the ROM. However, for devices with no device maintainers, MoKee Open Source will decide when to release official builds or nightlies. Therefore, if you have a device maintainer, please get the official releases from your respective device maintainer's thread or nightlies from MoKee Open Source.

Yup.
My initial review is that the rom isn't too shabby. It's essentially CM with more features. Not too much, but enough. I like the active display. Keep up the great work! :good:

I'm using the ST version. After install I just used the APN settings I've been using (wap.tracfone) that are listed on their website. ROM is running smooth. Thanks for the port.

I installed the rom and I use ST on the i777. Data seemed to work fine as did calls. The roms seems to be pretty solid. Only issue I noticed was trying to open the performance menu. It would FC. I only had it installed for a limited time but it does seem to run pretty well.
Works very nice. I'm loving the animations so much!
The only issue is the FC of the performance menu.
Which I could move more apps to the sd card too.

This was the same issue I had when I ported it to the precedent must be a ROM issue
For the performance control issue download this http://d-h.st/32a and copy it to system/app and set permission to 0644 and reboot,, sorry forgot to add it to the device tree to build
Hmm... it seems the majority of themes won't work. They keep crashing everything.
Also, tried to Refund an app from the Playstore and when it started uninstalling the app, the ROM just crashed and got stuck at the logo. Just minor bugs but will try the Performance fix.

OP, do you have sound in video recording? Is the camera app stable? Other than that i like the idea of this rom, pure stock AOSP, no mods
@Cocolopes
Yes it's based on SuperNexus and has some of those features, I will list exactly which ones in OP later today but no it won't receive SuperNexus changes.
Edit: OP updated
@Mashed_Potatoes
I haven't tested it yet, I will test shortly and let you know. As far as camera goes, it's been working spot on for me. I don't use any scene modes or whatnot but as for just using it to generally snap a pic of something - it works fine.
Edit: Audio in video is working, I found a bug with video camera though, see Bug List post #3.

I'd try either turning assert on or off in recovery (if possible).
Will sort the problem in next build.
Edit: As this was based on SuperNexus, for the next build, should I base it purely on AOSP or continue using this base?

it's either you have another phone, or you think that Magisk works but it doesn't.
Magisk won't work with the i9100 because we have an outdated boot image.
please attach screenshots of Magisk manager app and a screenshot of the "about phone" section in settings.

Yes you are right. I think i got confused and assumed Magisk ran correctly on both of my devices i.e Samsung S2 and LG G3. The assumption was based on the behavior of two apps that wouldn't have run on rooted android devices (without Magisk).
So I apologize for my previous rant out there..
New build is up
- fixed IMEI not being recognized
- updated sources(BLN has been temporarily disabled, it will be back )
For now I'll leave the "testing" tag in the OP, tell me if you think it deserves "stable"

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimisations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- More to explore
Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!

Fingerprint gestures are working perfectly here. See above, you're not supposed to use a custom kernel:
"Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues

I dunno, I just flashed EX 1.04-los kernel with no issues that I can tell so far, FP gestures are still working.
EDIT: Installing EX kernel hosed my V4A install, restored backup before EX with default PA kernel and V4A now working properly again.
EDIT 2: Did a reinstall of PA adding EX kernel right away, then after booting & setting up installed V4A and it works now with EX.
