Hello. My OnePlus X is running on OOS 2.2.0. Recently I have noticed that sometimes the weather displayed in Shelf (left swipe from home screen) does not update. Normally when I turn on GPS and mobile data (or have wifi connection), it will update the weather from accuweather. But sometimes I have to restart the phone so that the weather got update. Is there any way to fix it ? It is just me or it's Shelf's problem ? Also I'm using Boeffla-Kernel.
I am in the same boat.

Anyone having the home screen weather/clock widget not update your current location? and yes it is set to use current location in the settings. Is there anyway to clear the widget data?
I posted about the same issue some days ago.
Finally I got it fixed. I had noticed that each time I went to the clock app and open the desktop clock tab, it updated the current location. So I looked around and found that it was possible to have the weather on the lockscreen, what I did. I also went to settings>applications management>all and force weather main to stop.
I don't know which stage has been efficient but now my location is correctly updated each hour. I think it's worth a try.

I know it's an old thread, but I had the same problem and it got me on the right track. You need to have WiFi location enabled if you're connected to WiFi.
Slightly odd one, I've got a new i9300 out of the box, firmware LG8/LH1 UK stock, and for some reason a swipe down from the top of the screen will open the notification area the first time after a boot, after that it doesn't open. I have to do a screen swipe to unlock, then pull down the notification bar. I've got another S3 I've been using for months that this works perfectly on, with the same firmware setup. Very puzzled as to why this doesn't work as it should on a stock device; any ideas, anyone seen it before?
Just for anyone else finding the same issue, it turns out that putting a SIM card in solved it. No SIM = No lockscreen notification swipe, weird and obscure bug...
Strange.... Does this mean wifi only device like Nexus7 cannot pull the notification when the screen is locked? Or maybe is just Touchwiz's bug?

No idea about the Nexus 7, but the lock screen notification swipe does work on the (WiFi-only) Transformer Infinity, so it's probably something to do with having an empty SIM slot rather than not having a cellular connection.
Hi! I recently flashed MMS 4.2 AOSP onto my Hyperdrive 8.1 S4 and for some reason everytime I turn my phone on it goes to this screen and not my big clock. Why is this? It even shows that the screen my phone unlocks to isn't the home screen...

Looks like another widget
what you can (probably) do to fix it:
go to settings, lockscreen, then turn off multiple widgets
or
enable bigger clock on the same settings
Just got my Note 7 and noticed I couldn't find good lock in the app store. I ended up having to sideload the apk. If any of you are interested, here you go: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsun...lease/good-lock-24-0-11-android-apk-download/
One more thing, the iris scanner does not work with good lock.
there might be other hidden issues.
on the note 4 the July version randomly causes the side panel to pop up, and the June version occasionally(like once or twice a month) swaps the lockscreen and notification area so the notification area and bar stop working and get the lockscreen wallpaper.(easy fix though, reboot or use "findmobile" to "remotely" unlock)
Just upgraded to Android 9. Only then got bluetooth to pair with the car. Prolly a bug.
Then after upgrade cant see the Digital wellbeing or adaptive battery options. Google play saying app not compatible.
Also when u choose the complete more setting icons on notification bar the bottom half are not active to operate. The top half too freeze. If u don't choose more the top shortcuts work.

Initially I struggled to get the phone to pair with my car over Bluetooth following the upgrade to 9. Deleted the profile for the phone and re-paired and it's been ok since
My F1 smart wristband has suddenly stopped communicating with my phone, which I assumed followed a bad upgrade to the wearfit app, but it could equally be the Pocophone upgrade
I don't follow the final issue you describe

I've made a post explaining how to get Digital Wellbeing to work here.
