Hey guys..i have been facing this issue for a long time now... My oneplus x randomly reboots if i constantly use it for a long time or when i play dead trigger 2..
I have not rooted my phone...its purely stock...i have also tried clearing cache but it still reboots while playing dead trigger 2 each and every time...
Anyone facing the same problem..??
Any help would be appreciated..
Thank you..

You may want to create support ticket for this. My guess is that probably device can not handle heavy games. I played shadowfight2 but never faced any problem. Check this thread in oneplus forum,
I have read that thread already but there's no solution...
And the game runs very smoothly...without any lags so..i doubt the thing u said abt our device not being able to handle heavy games...
And Thanks for ur suggestion

@click2abhi
factory reset your phone from the recovery, it should do it.
if it doesn't it probably is a hardware issue.
At first i thought i worked but it didnt...the reboots keep coming while playing the game..
Peace !!

My SGS2 is rebooting itself 3 or 4 times a day, I'll do a quick reflash but I noticed it happened even before I rooted with the KDD kernel but didn't think anything of it.
Has anyone else noticed random reboots and is there a log file or app which can help diagnose the issue?

A quick search for 'random reboot' reveals:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059129&highlight=random+reboot
C'mon lad...first rule of the book: Use search!
no prob, I only did a lazy search, ie I just looked through recent posts.
If no one else is having an issue then its likely to be an app I have installed, I had thought it might be linked to me uninstalling the samsung hub stuff? But that was after rooting.
I'll flash the new firmware and see if it goes away.
Mods please feel freer to delete our close the thread.

I would definitely do a factory reset if all else fails
That's probably my thread...
I was getting lots of reboots on original firmware and factory reset didn't help....
However I uodated to xdd (full rom, not the root kernel) and it hasn't happened since!
Reflashed this morning with the kdf rom, had no reboots since

which are the roms "kdf" and "xdd"
sorry I'm new in samsung
thanks for any help
random reboots
And i wan't to know what xdd and kdf means.and a link with this rom's as weel if someone pleases.I have a problem with quick auto reebots as well and i haved istalled lots of diferent rooms with and the problem still there.plese help!
Many, including myself, have narrowed it down to Dolphin HD. Others to having apps installed to SD.

in my case none of the problems you said is my problem.i'v restord it to factory settings, flashed 2.3.4 kg1,2.3.5 k2/j3/ki3,cum rom light'ning v6.1,and now i flashed 2.3.3 xwkdf to see if this firmware solvs the problem.
Same here
Hi,
I had the Samsung Galaxy Y pro GT-B5510 random reboot problem. I'm a PhD CompSci very comfortable with flasing roms etc.
I tried everyting I could think of and I mean everyting a PhD CompSci could think of.
The last thing I tried:
With clockworkmod, I tested all my keys. (My Phone has physical keyboard) and all keys where OK!
Then I tried the clear dalvik cache and fix permissions.
It did not work, 2 minutes later a random reboot. aaaahgggg
Confident that not the SD card or firmware is the cause of this problem, I knew my Phone had a defect.
So I took my Phone, and I know this is not a scientific method. But a method that seems to work on electronics from time to time.
SOLUTION:
-With my knuckles, I bashed the backside of my Phone a few times, pretty hard I might add, NEVER be too gentle with electronics!
Now my pone has not rebooted a single time for over 18 Hrs. and still going strong! And it is so fast with Next Launcher! Amazing! That is one amazing launcher!! I cracked it, and I won't tell how, but you should buy this launcher, and I will as soon there is a payment method that works for me on the Android market. The memory management of this launcher is the best in the world!!
If this problem ever returns, I will try the bashing method first, could save me days of work.... LOL
And this is actually a very good method, it works on TV's on Radio's, it works on Android Phone's randomly rebooting, and most other electronics. It is reported to help on airplane, space shuttle, helicopter and warp drive engine control panels lol. ect. ect.
Really;
Just try this method, if you are going desperate! I have so many good experiences with this method, you can't deny it works often!!
Sometimes I think it is just a flipflop hanging, and the shock might shake it lose. So this method is actually more scientific then you think. <-- Physical shocks are known to fix electronics and chips sometimes!
So bash your Phone good and see if your problem is solved! Do not damage the Phone, just a few good hard knocks!
A few pretty hard knuckle bashes on the back of you Phone, won't damage it. It is fast, so it is worth a try! And that goes for all electronics with mysterious problems...
I am sooooo happy my Phone does not reboot anymore. You have no Idea! I don't care I had to bash it a little, IT WORKS like a charm!!
All my education..... and the method that works is simple bashing... How Ironic.
It is still running, if I do not post or modify this, I still have not got the random reboot problem back!
Trust me bashing now confirmd; Might solve random Android reboots! You have a good chance it will work!
whoooooo so happy now!!!
Just for fun, if this method fixed your problem don't forget to reply here, and thank me, I'm curious just how good a method bashing is!
I think we are all having nightmares with these random reboots/crashes. Some people say that they get these problems only with browsers but many of us get random reboots or system crashes doing random stuff like uninstalling an app.
I thought maybe it's one of the dev options so I tried disabling Force 2D GPU option and I have not have any problems since. I want people to try this and see if you still get any reboots or crashes. The solution could be easier than we thought.
Mine has been disabled for a few days, but still getting the random reboots/ freezes.
Every time mine resets once it comes back on it starts updating apps. Not sure if that happens to everybody else. Or if it is even related.
Mine had restarted a couple of times while using chrome. Once while in gallery. Other than that it's been really smooth sailing. It never started updating apps after a restart though, possibly timing? However you did say it has happened a few times so not sure.
Had a random reboot the first time I turned it on with the original software version but haven't had a reboot since. Not sure what the reason was to begin with but seems to have been resolved with software update

I've been getting random reboots the whole time. I'm sure it will get ironed out with some updates just got to wait 15 seconds for it to reboot lol

Hasn't happened to me with the few resets I've had.
Finally happened to me 2x today after updating to 4.2.1. Had 4.2 the first 2 days I had the tablet and didnt have reboots. My reboot happened while playing Nova 3 and NFS Most wanted. Game froze and speaker gave a buzzing sound for 5-10 seconds then rebooted.

+1 Mine has only restarted a couple of times, but it always updates at least 2 apps after restarting.

I think the updating apps might just be a play store check right after boot. If you know an app to be updated but haven't checked play store, try resetting your device, you might see it do that same thing.
Of course, I might be wrong, mine froze twice after finishing installing an app (dropbox the first time and a game the second)
I am suddenly getting a bunch of reboots and I really can't understand how or why. I can not uninstall any program else it will reboot instantly. is there any solution?
I don't get why people are still posting random solutions with placebo effects. It's been found using logs from crashes that it's due to the location services. That's why people initially thought it was HD Widgets, because they use location services for weather. That's why it still happens after a factory reset...
So do you have a solution ?

I seem to have issues when using Google products. I do NOT use chrome. An example, earlier tonight setting up a different Google wallet account my N10 froze and rebooted again. It was doing well for a while. (no chrome, no background sync in currents, no HD widgets) until 3 days ago. Now I am getting about one a day. Makes me mad, because it ran well for about 2 1/2 weeks. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary since then. I have had it set up the way I like since I got it on the 21st of Nov. (Lucky to get one on opening day 32gb.) I will have just shut off force rendering in developer options. I will post back here in a few days to report my findings. I hope this is a fix!! I believe it may be that, I did enact FR a bit ago but not sure when...
freezing and rebooting
I've tried everything and still keep getting the random reboots and yesterday my table started freezing a lot wasn't having that problem before it's frustrating
this was my first Nexus device and will be my last i sold my samsung galaxy tab 10.1 for this one and it's been nothing but headaches i've already replaced two tabs and i'm on my third becasue google keeps telling me to replace the unit and i asked them about a fix and tech support told me they were not aware of any issues can you believe that BS i'm very dissappointed with this device Samsung built a great tab for google and google messed it up. I really don't know if i can wait for a software fix. Feel like taking the tab and smashing it.
Uninstall Facebook you guys
I've no crashes with paranoid android and that manta kernel (plus, i'm overclock and undervolted)
Location is totally disabled for me.. Don't need it anyways..
No crashes.. I could show a weeks worth of on time if I wanted to

I just had a crash while playing Chaos Rings. The device buzzed and five seconds later rebooted. I crash two or three times a day, usually in the browser.
Hey guys, my i777 has been random rebooting for 3 months now. I've tried everything in the realms of wiping, foctory reseting, ROM flashing etc. When I flash a new ROM (I like SuperNexus and CM9/10) the random reboots are happenning once a day. As time goes by, the number of random reboots reaches a number like 10, 15 per day, which makes the phone basically a black brick. I've tried identifying usage patterns that could lead me to a system fail (maybe some app could be causing it?) but it didn't make either.
It's a hard reset (it takes me back to Samsung screen) and I've tried everything, in every way, in every forum you can imagine, I've also tried looking in the last_kmsg log file, but it never gives me material to work with.
My last attempt to make this work is right below, I've recorded the logcat (it's really big!). I'd be very pleased if anyone with more knowledge in Android system than me could try to identify what's causing this. Thank you so much! The logcat is attached in this thread.
So you've tried going back to stock ginger bread, not installing any apps, and seeing if the problem persists?

Yes I have, keep getting random reboots. Is this a case of throwing the phone away and buying another? I have it for 1,5 years, maybe should be time to move ahead... This thing already gave me so much headache that I've already paid another phone in stress and sweat

As long as you're not adjusting voltages, sounds like maybe the power button could be sticking

Well, guess this could be my last try. I'll check it out and post my results asap... thank you.
There are tutorials on replacing the power button, from what I've read its not too difficult but I suppose its always easier said than done eh lol.

I had a similar issue, mine would reboot sometimes once a week, sometimes 5-10 times a day. Random sleep of death, freeze and complete battery drain etc. I finally sent it in on my square trade warranty and they replaced the main board - some sort of short in there that was causing it i guess. I suppose it would be possible to swap out the main board, or buy a used phone with a broken screen or something to strip for parts.
There is a great video by "le55ons" on youtube tearing down a I9100 that could help you get an idea of what's involved.
Hello fellas,
im experiencing a problem here. so just thought of sharing it.. and i might get some helpful solution.
Well, my phone had been going fine since i bought it, over 6 months. Suddenly one night it froze at custom UI(Apex Launcher), this got me worried so i cleaned up eveery possbile inch..later when that didnt helped so i had my phone (hard) reset, ( combination of 3 buttons). But the problem seems to still exist here, Phone hangs/freeze at any time. Not any specific app or place, except that phone runs awsum. No speed issue..very fast, Offical 4.1.2. Everytime i have to press Power button for long untill phone reset. And then everything is fine and great untill this happence agn. I belive this is becuz of memory, which is not getting cleaned or something, So.. Please help me get thou this.
Did you read the unusual freezing thread in general? Try there. A search should have brought that thread up quite easily :/

Found it. So much complex.
I will just kick Facebook and Chrome.
Seems I posted this to the wrong area, hard to find this section from mobile..
I've gotten a couple of random reboots while playing games, not enough to be super concerning but enough to make me want to figure out what's going on.. Anyone else seen this issue? I think it has only happened during bomb squad but I'm not positive and its likely just coincidence..
It just happened to me during Netflix. Are you rooted?

mine shutdown when I was trying to login to dead trigger 2 with an "unknown account" it didnt reboot I had to power it on its kinda concerning cause Ive heard of ppl's shield rebooting but not completely shutting off like mine did.
Hasnt happened yet so it could be a dead trigger 2 bug with the console.

Mine just keeps freezing while playing mupen64. then, it goes to this poltergiest screen. happens every hour if im playing a game continuously. Should I return it? I see a lot of people having reboots, but has anyone seen this before? I think I should probably return my shield pro.

if your rooted i found going to bootloader menu and doing "fastboot -w" will stop random reboots.
