Hi There
Yesterday I flashed LiquidSmooth v3.2 and since then i got no signal at all
First i ignored the first config (wifi and google account) as i was ansious to see the rom, and no signal. I thought this was the problem
Then i wiped cache/dalvik and started again as it should be, everything was alright but a lot of error messages on some ui crashed everything
Then i flashed 4.4 jbx cause... what if it was the problem. I don´t even know what to do, I´m newbie and still no signal
There´s also some error mount "/osh" while installing the rom and gapps
when installing jbx there was "set_perm: some changes failed
Now i noticed that airplane mode is looping on switch on/off and this is the causing the problem
But i still don´t know what to do

I have the exact same problem. Sometimes i get full signal with a R sign, but it doesn't work either.
I have also the /osh error, but i think its normal.
I will follow this thread, I hope you can find an answer.
U have a XT912 or XT910? For xt910 install umts_spyder for XT912 the spyder version.
Looks like u have the wrong version installed....
Go to /system/apps and delete the cellbroadcasetreceiver,apk and reboot

Could be, but mine is XT910 (Razr Maxx); I downloaded umts_spyder.
It´s the right version; I can´t imagine what´s going wrong.
Downloaded tons of tutorials and it doesn´t works either.
None of them [tutorials] talk a thing about this message "Unable to mount "/osh", just mine;
Everything i try to do gives me the message:
"E:Unable to mount '/osh' "
and
"kernel does not have support for reading SELinux contexts"

I have no idea what osh is. But i get it all the time with safetystrap and i just ignore it. doesnt seem to hurt anything.
I would try deleating the slot your using (unless your on stock because you cant). make a new slot. Install the correct rom i.e. umts_spyder for xt910 or spyder for xt912
flash your gapps and try again. v3.2 has been working great for me on slot 2 with no problems so far on my xt912

How much space did you use in your slot?
I used 1gb for system
2 gb for data
600mb for cache
Is there any restrictions? What´s the best way?

i just set it at what ever it comes up as when i make the slot. im running three roms carbon on stock, mokee on 1 and smooth on 2. i swear i set mokee at 1g system 2g data and 600mb for cache and when i go back and look its now 1018m system 2586m data and 574m cache. maybe it adjust itself for what it needs if thats possible.
But i dont think you can set it up wrong, as long as you can make the slot your good to go.
Is this normal?

The screenshot is about the kernel, doubt it´s stock. Maybe when rooting something installed another one.

well if your in Brazil i would go to mobile networks settings in the stock rom and copy everything down. transfer that to the custom rom see if that helps signal.
not sure about kernel just started playing with that stuff myself and has not gone well for me
you can always take the phone back to stock and start from scratch

somebody better should probably explain kernels. but as far as i understand each rom is built around a specific kernel?> hopefully someone can jump in and explain that .
for network settings go to settings-mobile networks and write down how its all set up ie, data enabled? roaming, look at preferred network type is?
my phone for verizon in the u.s.a. is set
data enabled ...yes
data roaming ...yes
preferred network type is ....global
system select is set to ....automatic
cdma subscription is set to ....RUIM/SIM
Access Point Names....
one rom i used the preferred network was set to some crazy thing like "EvDo only" i think and i couldn't do better then basic phone calls. had a 1x for data. soon as i switched it to global i was up and running.
Im a newb also but i have screwed my phones up enough times i am starting to learn how to fix things. the razr is a good phone to mess with because as far as i can tell you cant mess it up so bad you cant fix it.

try a different rom. Carbon, Axxion, are both really good or CM11
Carbon is my favorite at the moment <my daily driver and flashed as my stock rom

Yesterday i tried to uninstall 'cellbroadcastreceiver.apk' and everytime i made/ received a call the cell turned off.
Then I just cleaned its data and force close, and it works normally; but i have to do this everytime i turn the phone on.
Coudn´t freeze this apk, cause my titanium backup is free version
What should i do?

I´m deleting this file before flashing the rom,everytime!it should not affect the calls or signal if deleted!
i´ve no problems with signal,dowloading with 900kb+ on 3g and so on,really strange.........
this ls rom works perfect for me with great battery

So yea I have been recently playing around with my phone and putting on Lollipop but just before I was putting Lollipop my phone just all of a sudden gets no service anywhere I go, when I try to ring someone it says that I am in aeroplane mode. I have turned it on and back off but for some reason it still says it, whenever I try to send someone a text it says it will be sent when I have signal.
I need help like urgently as I use this phone for everything.

you have modem issue i guess , if you have already upgraded/updated to lollipop and afterwards having this issue try flash stock rom 4.4.4 kitkat or ask someone to provide flashable modem zip hopefully that should fix too but i prefer 1st one flash stock rom:good::fingers-crossed:

I cant seem to find a stock rom for my Moto E 1021, could you help?
Hi guys,
I flashed Resurrection Remix and it wouldn't start on the first boot. Restored nandroid and got stuck in bootloop, so I went back to stock using the TOT method (ZV4 then let OTA updates get me to ZVC), and I noticed that on my lock screen, it said LG instead of Sprint, and I noticed I had no data. So I tried the 3 dialer codes: ##UPDATE#, ##SCRTN#, and ##RTN#. After this I can now get 3G and it says Sprint on my lockscreen, but no 4g, In settings/mobile networks/network mode LTE/CDMA is selected. In settings/about phone/network, the mobile network type is either EvDo-rev.A or eHRPD(it goes back and forth). I'm wondering if its an APN setting but I can't find anything on this. Any ideas on how I can get 4G back? Thanks for any ideas.
Did you try a profile update? try running 2 of them, then a PRL update, than another profile update. It's pretty picky. [I mean though the System Update tab]

Tried your suggestion but no change, The first profile update took about a minute, and the others went really quick. Still no LTE.

It was Resurrection Remix 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but it was about a week ago so I'm not sure what version it was, I see it was updated 1/30.
I notice that it has a refresh animation by the signal meter now too. http://i.imgur.com/NqnUNPt.png Thats what made me think it was an APN setting. It does the refresh for about 30 seconds before it can find a signal.

Still no luck. Everything working good with Resurrection Remix except data is 3G and not LTE. I also tried flashing some different modems but that didn't change anything. I am thinking there is a partition that doesn't get wiped out during a TOT flash and something is wrong in that area. I am going to try to mess with APN settings when I get time.

Yes SIM card is in. I went back to stock everything again and the 4G problem remains.

Using the ##RTN# dailer code and entering my MSL/SPC code has always got back to a fully functioning stock bloated device when needed. Best of luck to ya!

LTE and Phone Calls?
Be careful, this did NOT work for me. I was able to get one phone call, but before that i had to fiddle with the phone to even get it to go on verizon. Now it doesn't connect, nor when i did have a connection did texting work. Right now I am restoring my backup from jasmine. I hope everything is still okay...
EDIT: First boot from restoring Jasmine took VERY long. I was scared about a bootloop, but thankfully since I have liveboot installed I could see it was doing SOME stuff. Right now it is upgrading apps. Will edit post again with my results once it's finished.
EDIT 2: Back on Jasmine, no cell at first, but going into settings and telling the phone to go back on CDMA did the trick. Reboot to get 4G back and you'll be fine. God that was scary, don't think i'll do that again for a while.
Can the Galaxy Gear softwar run on CM13 to sync the Gear watch?

i dont know about verizon sim cards cause of their have a liink to their phone, but it would work on any other sim card, i make calls fine
No, gear manager won't work, I reverted back to jasmine...

I lost mobile data going to the official nightly 12.1 builds. I had to Odin back to stock, reroot, and reflash recovery. I'm restoring from there.

For me all I needed to do was reflash my jasmine backup, and reset the mobile data settings to go back on CDMA. That was scary..
so the silver lining is at least we know the twrp backups work? I was wondering if anyone tried that yet.

I guess it depends on your definition of works, I've gotten CM13 to 'work' pretty much as well as 12.1. I could not get any mobile network connection, so no voice/sms/data. Several other things probably don't work as well, I did not test a lot but I had no FCs on any apps I tried. I did have to set the time manually to get a few things to work since there is no mobile network to sync time. To get it to load I had to change the asserts in SuperR's Kitchen.
The biggest caveat was that something does not restore right on mine. Each time I've flashed a CM rom I've been unable to get my mobile network back upon restore. I had to odin back stock over my restored system, reroot and reflash TWRP. One time I got a notification about my SIM not being a Verizon SIM but that was fixed with the above method.

Didn't think so... I managed to get Gear Manager working on CM back with my old S3 but it was ugly and only partly worked. Thanks!

ive had this installled for several hours now, and everything works so far! gear manager too!!!
it took forever to start up at first....and it says im a s5 instead of note

Only 5.1.1 based ROM working 100% for me is Dirty Unicorns 9.8. I posted a thread in Verizon Note 3 General with link to that and LiquidSmooth which works for 3g but flakes out on LTE.
And again, OP needs to specify AT&T or move this to an AT&T thread... CM13 simply does not work on Verizon until RIL commits are merged.

Make sure the correct APN is selected. If yes, look at the values inside of APN and then verify that they are correct. Google Sprint APN settings.

If you are referring to carrier settings under network and internet nothing happens when try to click

Under "Network and Internet", select "Mobile Network", scroll to the bottom and select "Access Point Names". From there you should be able to see what carrier APN you have selected. If there is none, try pressing the "+" and add your own.

No APN settings is why you have no data. I would try a reflash.

Ok so I re flashed with out sim,tried to install sim after boot, same result

For ****s and giggles, I would try another ROM. Better yet, I would restore back to stock and then try another install. That takes more time but will help ensure that you are starting from the most stable platform. If you go this route, remember to not restore stock 11, it will bootloop if you try to install a ton over it.

Nothing to do with Gapps, this is a radio issue. Something didn't install correctly.

ok I compared the highlighted firmware from lolinet.com and the actual LMSA firmware (downloaded automatically) they look the same, also I see Fastboot_Mot_V1 not sure what's that for
my question is should I flash the LMSA firmware (downloaded automatically) with Fastboot_Mot_V1 or should I replace it with lolinets firmware? Just making sure

I just reflashed stock firmware, rooted stock, backed up apn config.xml file.
Flashed [ROM][CrDroid][11][UNOFFICIAL][RAV*/SOFIA*][7.X]
Replaced apn config.xml file. system/product/ect.
still no lte
Tried same process but with [ROM][RAV*/SOFIA*][10][UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1
same no Lte

Does LTE show on stock? From Lineage or CrDroid were you able to find where you add or change the son? From either one, have you tried *#*#4636#*#* from the dial pad? You can change a lot of network specific things from there. You could try changing different band combinations to see if you can get a connection. You can also see what towers you are connecting to.
