Hi there. I have a really confusing problem. Now i'm running CM 12.1 and it's working just fine, but, when I try to flash (using TWRP) stock kitkat or miui it's just restarting over and over again ( some blue-ish bars at the top and bottom). I need to mention that CM 12.1 and 13 can be flashed. P.S: even CM 11 cannot be flashed. Help?!
Before you flashed CM12.1 , were you on Lollipop or KitKat?

Well, i managed to re-flash those Roms! I went back to stock and then root, unblock the bootloader and so on! It works now! I was able to flash even Miui with no problem! Thx for answering!

If you are still on kitkat and you want to go to lolipop then you need the flash a stock LP rom before you can go to custom one.

After I flashed stock LP I had to flash my KK modem because my phone wasn't booting.
Is that normal?
Or maybe I should have flashed twrp, fully wiped everything then flahed LP
Idk, now I'm still stuck with kk modem :/

Hello people, i just bought RN3 (Indian version with FPC sensor), i unlocked unofficially by flashing MIUI 7.1 and installed AICP 11 MM just after that, do i had to flash CM13 Firmware first?
Everything works fine but sometimes screen glitches and phone freezes so i have to force reboot it.
So should i now flash CM firmware? if yes with which TWRP? i'm using official twrp 3.0.2-2, reply soon....
Edit- solved
Flash CM firmware if your ROM is CM based at all, of course. If not, look for something in the ROM thread.

Personally I always flash it anyway. Fixes a few bugs like settings FC etc.

If you're coming from a KitKat ROM, you need to install a minimal stock LolliPop upgrade before flashing CyanogenMod.

I have los14.1 now but want to go to either 5.1.1 or 6.0.1 . I found an aosp 5.1.1 rom for the device though it had many issues. So anyone using it, can you please tell me if it's stable and what's working and not working as of now. And which ROM would be better? Stock 6.0.1 or aosp 5.1.1.
Also performance wise which one better? Stock 5.0.2|5.1.1|6.0.1??

Hi, I ve just downgraded to 5.1.1 coming from Los 14.1
Have been on 6.0 too and went back to experiment a OTA update (from LL to MM)
Have to say that 5.1.1 is fast and smooth, like no other. both 6 and 7.1.2 custom ROMs.
I will stay there since I don't find a new reason to upgrade...

Everything works as expected in 5.1.1 and that is very relaxing: wifi, bluetooth, motodisplay and notification, no forcecloses or crash, no random reboot.
Stock softwares, with last updates from PlayStore, are also very smooth.

Did you flashed all the system files?
Lockin the bootloader isn't necessary or rilevant in my opinion.
Last question.. which os where you at when firstly rooted the phone? Sometimes Android is hard to downgrade..
