Can any dev do this? It will be very helpful as I don't have to delete the inbuilt unwanted apps (bloatwares) everytime I (dirty)flash this rom (for merely changing the kernels) which is a waste of time and energy.
Thank you in advance!
Apps (like Titanium Backup Pro) have options to freeze ore uninstall unwanted system apps (if you are rooted). And even after phone restart they will remain frozen.

It seems you didn't read the OP. It is waste of both time and energy if I have to uninstall/disable the unwanted apps EVERYTIME I flash the ROM. Debloated ROM would be of great help.

Don't remember if there is some Export/Import Titanium Backup configuration, so not to select each app every time. Though I understand its not the finest away for what you are asking. Basically having OxygenOS without most of gapps would be cool.

If you disabled/freeze through TB the settings are carried over from the previous ROM. IF you perform a factory reset, then you will need to disable/freeze again.
I've dirty flashed stock ROM and OTA updates since version 2.1.2 using this method, it works for me.

Installed Oxygen
Installed Super Su
Deleted Unwanted google apps/unuseful apps
.
.
Took TWRP backup of /system /data /boot
Anytime I need the fresh rom .. I just wipe all partition and restore debloated rom from twrp....
Sounds good?

This is a good idea.
But, is it possible to recover on a preinstalled ROM?
If no, then, if I have the oxygen OS installed, I have to back up the ROM in current status (before I flash a kernel for example), and wipe everything and then recover the backed up data, system etc. Right?
Is it not easy if I had to flash a zip file??
You can also create a label with the apps you want to freeze, then after flashing the rom, select this label and then freeze all from batch menu, like I did with my label oosfreeze.

I am working on a custom oos. Don't have a lot of spare time, but will release it within two weeks. I am also waiting on developers for permission of using their work.
On a old device, I used to dezip roms, Suppr unwanted apps and rezzip and it worked.
You can try here.

First and foremost WRONG SECTION.... U think asking question in Original android development section is rite??
BTW stock apps means system apps only... The apps u install from outside is third party apps... U asking abt the apps u installed before or installed after flashing?? Before means obvi it ll be in SD card.. After means it be ll in ROM...

I'm talking about this
that does nothing.
that screen only comes up, when you flashed a stock ICS 4.0.3 rom without wipe. it does not actually install apps, it just scans app folders like /system/app/ and /data/app for already installed apps to integrate in the launcher. maybe it also checks compatibility with android 4. but at the moment that screen shows up, all apps are already installed.
it is just a marketing thingy to pretend to perform app migration after upgrading the OS. if you upgrade through kies and had auto-restart checked and were unable to get to recovery to perform a factory reset prior to the first boot, you will see that screen appear after the first boot "installing" all your apps. then if you reboot into recovery, factory reset the phone and reboot, you will see it only "installs" the few stock apps and all user apps are gone.
this migration, together with not wiping your phone when flashing, will make it slow and unstable over time. it is the same thing with a windows pc. of course one could upgrade the OS, say, from vista to 7, and installed programs and settings might get migrated but in the end, everybody who knows, what they are doing, will still format c: prior to installing a new OS and install the programs afterwards for them to run perfectly.
and all stock apps, that survive a factory reset, wipe are in fact system apps in /system/app
they can still disappear when flashing a new rom.
your best bet is to backup all your apps with titanium backup pro and after flashing a rom or performing a factory reset, you select batch and restore all user apps + data. that way, you can simply install 100+ apps with a few clicks, and their respective settings (scores, customizations...) will be restored as well, which would not be the case with the way you suggested.
so, not only is your way not practical, it is also next to impossible. and it would make no sense, crumming all user apps in the 512MB system partition and leaving the 2GB data partition empty.

sure I'll not put my all apps in the system/app. I made a rom and put my apps in the data/app and after flashing I got all of my applications installed and working too except some of google apps like google+ and drive. I think that screen shows us it's installing the apps not just scanning, because I searched the rom for these apps I didn't find it, so I think it's packed somewhere and I hope to find it
First off, all credit goes to xdabbeb...awesome developer!
Here is a port of the Split Window mod from the G2...
At the moment this will only work on the 20D OTA(US)...to run on other variants/firmware it would have to be ported over. It is not a one size fits all mod (need the framework for each).
Install Instructions:
1. Make a backup
2. Flash the .zip file
3. Upon reboot, use a file explorer to add the following lines to the build.prop
ro.lge.capp_splitwindow=true
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true4.Reboot
5. Go to Setting: Multi-tasking to enable features of Split Window.
6. Enjoy!
NOTE: I will work on updating the scripts to add the new build.prop lines but for now they need to be done manually.
If you would like to try the port yourself...use this guide by xdabbeb...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2792938&page=1
If you have questions feel free to shoot me a PM and I will help out...

The only ROM I have been able to try it on is stock 4.4.2. Basically, the OTA and I uninstalled some of the bloat and added some xposed modules. If anything in regards to the framework has been changed in the LRS ROM I'm not sure this would work. I would need to do some digging. Sorry about that guys!
EDIT: Looks like the LRS ROM is based on 20b this may be part of the issue with the bootloop. Not sure if anything changed between 20b and 20d.

Dang! From what I can tell, it would have to be built for each ROM available for the device...I don't think it is one size fits all.
If I have time, I can try and get it to work on some of the more popular ROMs for the device...just not sure how soon I can get to it.
Can anyone confirm this working on their device? If so, please post what variant/firmware you are running...
so LRS gets bootloop because its based on 20b not 20d?? how the hell i can get a 20d??

Vanir is AOSP.
This SliptView is for LG Framework, it will not work on aosp.
the same way it doesn't work on AOSP G2, etc.
You should try xposed framework, there is an multiwindow thingy there, i bet.

What I did was make a backup of all my data in TWRP (also backed my apps up with Titanium Backup) , then used the LG Mobile tool to go back to plain ol stock, took the 20d OTA, then restored my data from TWRP.
There may be a better way but I took this route because I had caused a bootloop messing with something else.

Edit2: just noticed, almost no app apeared on the menu choice.
So i went looking for an solution:
ro.lge.capp_splitwindow=true
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true
These 2 lines are missing from build.prob

I'd have thought installing a custom recovery stops updates, not rooting. CF root (which all of us use so far?) defaults to the stock recovery after installing supersu.

I am having this problem with my phone: Lenovo S650
The virus shows different ads. (Screenshots are given in the bottom)
It also used to install different apps again and again even after uninstalling them,
but then I searched apk files and found 10 apks. I deleted them and then it start showing only ads.
But before I used to have only one ad and now I am having multiple different type of adds and the virus install an app "DeadlyRote". I didn't found its apk...
I think it is attached with ROM because I did the Factory Reset with removing sd card and deleting extra files manually. But it was no use.
What should I do? should I root it and change the ROM? If yes then tell me how...

Now I am having another problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lenovo-s650-stuck-logo-flashing-rom-t3274276
My module will only have what's necessary
If users want a feature, I'll add, test and (maybe?) release
What does it do?
Installs a few pixel apps
https://github.com/anupritaisno1/PixelExperienceOneplus/tree/master/system
Runs magisk's resetprop utility to set the following values
Everything is being updated so constantly that you need to check my github: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anupritaisno1/PixelExperienceOneplus/master/common/post-fs-data.sh
Psst. Unless you really have this urge to read my long, useless, boring speech, here
Repo link: https://github.com/anupritaisno1/PixelExperienceOneplus
XDA support thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-google-pixel-experience-v3-5-1-t3516665
Download link: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/a...enceOneplus/master/PixelExperienceOneplus.zip
So, the pixels came out
Everything suddenly became so "pixelated" (RR literally took pixel's theme and so did oxygenos beta on the op3)
Everyone started making their own 'pixel experience'
So i decided to do it too
But i wanted to think different
I wanted a mod that could give me pixel experience without butchering my system and deleting important apps
(Yes, king's pixel experience removed important apps that i need everyday like the cyanogenmod music player)
I wanted to only add the necessary apps, staying free from unnecessary bloatware
And this is it:
Let us call it "aosp meets pixel"
You get the pixel experience you've always wanted but the aosp experience you missed
You stay away from potential instabilities caused by debloat (i mean, who in this world removes cyanogenmod file manager from cm)
It survives otas
It is easier to get past SN

If you don't want to debloat or if nightlies are a problem for you where you have to reflash the mod every time but flashing a 9 mb file at every ota (magisk) won't hurt or if you want additional control over existing stuff then just go for it
Really, this is just pixel meets aosp because you get all the pixel apps while still keeping aosp apps. The only real difference is that I used @FaserF's zip as a base
Can you specify what all apps your zip adds and removes from the ROM ?

Yes, now full device spoofing, no app will be able to tell that it isn't a Google Pixel
For proof try without my module and you'll notice the difference

This is not a bug but it is a mistake on your behalf that resulted in an error causing the flash to fail
Please, atleast try to understand that this module does need magisk
You need to flash magisk first
Bug report ignored, reason: user mistake
So if I get this right, I need to:
Flash (dirty) CM 14.1
Flash SU
Flash Magisk
Then this Pixel zip.
Yes?
EDIT: Done. Alert slider works fine and so does everything else.

Magisk is the interface that's allowed us to use systemless modules. If you don't have it installed, your system can't know by itself how to use systemless stuff.
Flashed CM, mini Gapps, magisk, Pixel Experience, Boeffla Kernel and OOS Camera.
I got an "There was a problem communicating with Google servers, try again later" error.
I tried re-flashing, got the same error.
I tried flashing stock Gapps instead, but again, same result.
Please help.
Edit: I just flashed it without magisk and Pixel Experience, and it's working flawlessly.
Edit 2: Nvm, realized I didn't flash SU. Sorry. Thanks, btw. Works perfectly.
Does this works on latest XOS?
