the problem is that my phone does not connect to the LTE, but early it did. i think that is not a hardware or firmware problem
wipes and 4 files firmwares are not helping - the same problem.
in settings triband auto connection is turned on
i have changed sim card and no results
in service mode (accesing from Phone Info 2263 Band selection) if i leave only LTE and gsm phone connects to the LTE (it works!) but after incoming call or signal lose (phone switch to the gsm) LTE does not reconnecting back automaticaly(((
maybe there are some priority settings for that in service mode?
i don't know what to do, it's some sort of mystic. i think that troubleshooting is somewhere in service mode
ask Your network provider for LTE APN configuration (or check on website). Signal may be too weak...

Hi, i dont now where to add my problem,
So, i wont to install custem rom to my phone,and i do a mistake, i wiped all in my phone,now i dont have the zip file rom, i dont have my nandroid backup, and i cant copy the ziped rom to my phone to install it.
please help me, how to copy the file to the phone, i em now in recovery mod.

@6yx: Do you use a custom ROM ? If so remember that you should have the last Modem version for Android 5.1 and 6.0 ( if you've flashed any CM ROM and you had KitKat you'll encounter this kind of problems ).
@cabaravdic: Pull the ROM .zip over ADB or use an OTG cable

Hi All,
I have some problem with my network connectivity. Since I bought my Galaxy s3, the network disappears so I'm not able to make any call. I have to restard my mobile to get network back. Some people told me that it is a baseband problem (as I'm in Belgium and my mobile comes from France) so I changed it but I got the same problem but less often.
Can you guys tell me where the problem comes from?

More likely sim card problem or network itself check with your network .
Backup data and factory reset the phone or check for updates via OTA or KIES .

Hi,
I tried it already and it did work for 1 or 2 days and it's coming back again. My sim card was pefectly working with my former phone.
Concerning the updates, everything has been done and i'm now running on Omega v9.1
After all of thatm is it a technical or material problem?

Omega is not a factory rom so that could be the problem or the modem .
Suggest wipe phone remove rom counter to zero with Triangle |Away flash stock rom and test fails return to service center .

Okay. So this isnt 100% confirmed to work but sometimes it does for me. Install the rom u like. Most roms have modems that are suited for most countries so ull be okay on that part. Whe it says no service make sure its no internet and not no service. Then reboot into recovery fix permissions wipe dalvik do whatever u want haha then go to options and then more then clturn on airport then turn it off.
For those with the no service status it either could be talking a while to kick in due to a bad/unsuitable modem with ur rom or u need to find one that suits you. Here are a few helpful links.

Have you flashed the kernel as well which is there in the viper thread separately by the name of boot.zip (or something like that). please report back if you are on right kernel so we could suggest you something else...
well yes i did flash the boot.img in viperxl 2.0.0 rom. I had been using this for a long time on At&t. But as soon as i Country Unlock my cellphone (At&tHTC ONE X +) (as i m in pakistan now) the wifi doesnt work. I thought at first that this was actually an unlock issue but my friend at the mobile market they suggested to use at&t sim and then use wifi.
Surprisingly it did work. Thus the conclusion which they made was that i need a 128K sim since i m using warid 64K and our networks somehow dont support wifi and sim signal at the same time.
So Mortal Eternity my question is that do we have 128K sims in pakistan? or do u have another solution to this problem?
That's the biggest load of sh*** I have EVER heard. Simcard DOES NOT control the WiFi nor does the mobile network. How about providing adb logs with the following: with att sim with Pakistan sim and with NO sim. Make sure you try to connect to WiFi then upload the Iogs

Hi Llior, Your were right 128K sim and 64K sim have got nothing to do with the wifi but the Local Sim indeed provides the wifi_country_code.
As Wifi disconnects as soon as i insert the sim. The wifi only works if i take out the sim and change the wifi country code to US using SQ Lite editor and then reboot WITHOUT SIM or Put the airplane mode on and then reboot, other wise it again picks up PK as the wifi country code from the sim.
Tried all the softwares, WifiFix Manager and WifiCodes but none seem to be working.
I believe that Wififixmanager (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1445766) works on ICS only not on JB. I need a program that :
1) Changes the wifi country code while sim is on.
2) upon reboot still manages to keep the change of the wifi country code.

I finally got it working wifi and sim both together work...changed rom use 3 apps to change Wifi region lol and last but not the least Special Thanks to Mortal Eternity!!. :good:

I have the same problem with the wifi being stuck on Authenticating... but I just turn it off and turn it on the router once and I had no problems...

I have tried lot of different ROMS and Kernels and patches etc. I haven;t copied anything from my original native ROM from GSM operator.
I suppose that I have problems with signal as I have low signal level in big city, I also have problems with 3g internet network.
What should I check/ override ? I think that kernel ? Is that anyone could link me propper kernel for use in Poland? If not kernel any other package - as I remember in old, Windows Mobile devices that was something called 'RADIO'
I also have problems with random restarts, no signalling of incoming calls, random switches to plane mode and battery drain.
Please help...

Dont`t do that! if u have unlocked bootloader you will get brick. Use flashtool to flash newest firmware
oops I forgot that he has unlocked bl, so you need to flash only baseband via flashtool, find it here

install flashtool & drivers then reboot,
download ftf,
copy to firmwares folder,
power off your phone
run flashtool, select flashmode choose ftf file from firmwares [there is a dialog box appears in flashtool]
then connect phone to usb with holding back button

I am facing network problems.I have no signal in both sims.I had 4.2.1 and now upgraded to P780_ROW_S221_140729 but problem is not fixed.I tried a couple of other modems but still the same.Does anyone know how to help me?I used to have excellent signal and one day it stopped .I did not move country.Is there any way I be sure if there is a hardware problem?Thank you!

To reflash your ROM you will find a lot of tutorials in this forum. To know what is the problem, is to root and install custom recovery and change modems one by one till something is going on.

I have tried all modem versions for my p780 and they dont work properly.Is there a way to find out if it is a hardware problem by myself?I bought the phone from China and I live in Greece so I think it is going to be a long time I guess till it returns.So I d preffer to fix it on my own.

I think it may be hardware antena problem, because before U had excelent signal. Or try flash the same ROM and modem which U had before (when everything was OK) On Youtube is a video how ro repare hardware antena on P780 (it was russian video).

I'm facing network issue with Redmi Note 5, Indian version. I tried Global Rom, Flame OS,Liquid Remix,Flame OS & some other custom Rom, The issue i m facing is that when ever i tried to call any number with my Airtel Sim network goes into emergency call only. after sometime network comes back. this keep on happening.

I am not sure, but you can try to flash the modem via fastboot. Look for the command in XDA

I got the global version and am having same issues here in New York City. Everything works fine including my data but it takes forever to connect when im making a regular call (i use T-Mobile)and when it does i can hardly hear anything. Very disappointed otherwise its an amazing phone.
