What hardware issue does it have?
Rebooting should exit you from save mode. Could you describe your situation better? (does the phone enter save mode automatically? etc.)

So, today I rooted my new Galaxy S2 and installed CWM Recovery via Odin to install a custom rom. I found a rom and installed it but I didn't liked it so I was looking for CWM app in phone to go to recovery and rewrite it but I couldn't find it. I opened Odin again and installed CWM Recovery again (and than I f*cked up my phone ...) but after that phone didin't turned on it was just showing bootscreen img. I couldn't turn it on, but it was functional (when I plugged it to PC via USB screen showed that it's power upping (bad english :s)) and I was able to enter Odin Mode so i rewrited a different ROM ( I tought it would help) and it helped actually, but not fully. When I turned the phone on it loaded successfully but everything was very laggy and bugged and only 10-30% of apps was working (other "has stopped working"). I don't know anymore what to do, how to fix this sh*t... I tried to enter a recovery (vol down + power) and restore everything from Nandroid backup, but phone just turned on... Who could tell me how to fix it??? :S
P.S. Sorry for my bad english and I hope everyone could understand my msg, if now - just ask :|
EDIT: Fixed

lol its because i had a similar instance on a 7inch tab that seemed to have no recovery at all and the touchscreen had shifted about an inch left in responsive reaction and adb ,shell , and no hard reset method anywhere on the net... methods from all devices can incite ways to fix others eh?
i dont understand
Neither do I? This thread is how old? What are you looking for here?
I think I can clarify
The OP to this thread made the mistake of assuming that in order to do the restore to his original rom, that he needed the CWM app on the new rom. When really you just need to put the phone in recovery mode. (hold vol buttons and power buttons after phone is powered down). Obviously technique to do so is make/model specific. Or, as a previous post says, the mistake may have been not knowing which buttons to push properly to enter recovery mode. Either way, it is an easy mistake for someone new to make.
I made the same mistake when I did my first restore. I just thought it would be useful information in case someone else comes to this thread with the same problem.
Just to clarify - If you need to restore to a previous image that you backed up with CWM Rom Manager. Put the phone in recovery mode and the option is there. Don't look for the option in the ROM Manager application you used to create the back up image.
I'm using v40 of temasek unofficial cm11, Boefflea version 11 kernel.
while I was using my phone, the phone suddenly went into a reboot and started the boot-loop, even when I pull the battery out and put it back in it starts booting immediately and goes into the boot-loop , whenever I try to go into download mode or recovery mode, once or twice I will be able to reach it, but 3 seconds in, it restarts and goes into the boot loop again (I can't choose between restarting or going into download mode)
would a USB jig help me getting into the download mode or will it be 3 seconds in and restarts?
would a service center help me retain my data as I need them?
Thank you.
momentarily I've managed to be able to access download mode and the laptop started making a sound trying to identify the device, too bad the battery fell off (or the phone restarted) lol
anyways I still need help because I couldn't get into any of them
If the phone starts the moment a battery is inserted then usually the power button is stuck -try giving it a wiggle, or get it replaced.

yeah will do that once this gets fixed lol ..
for some awkward reason, I found out that once I pull out the battery I can use download mode
what should I download?
I tried flashing CWM but I get back to the bootloop ... should I install a newer bootloader?
No, bootloader is irrelevant to firmware. You would be best to flash a full stock rom with odin then factory reset and see if it will boot. I would suspect the power cycling may have caused partition problems if recovery got wiped.

which would mean I would lose all the data in the previous cm11 right?
I'm trying my best to flash a recovery but I think it got wiped for good.. I'm trying to flash it over and over again .. (I unplug the battery once I'm in download mode to prevent the sudden restart) .. before I flashed the CWM through odin I was able to go into a glimpse of a recovery mode, now I can't seem to see it at all...
is there a way to just copy the data (mostly pictures) through odin or adb with my phone current state?
Google says it might be possible

only through recovery mode or hoping your phone would suddenly connect after many boots lol
I don't think that will be my case .. oh well
as long as I can get my phone working again
going back to stock rom didn't fix the issue. can't access anything yet.
any help?
if anyone is reading this, I've been looking everywhere for a stock rom with pit file, I think that's the problem I'm facing since I have different bootloaders and different modes, somewhere around that I jacked my partitions and I think this would help putting it all back
I've found ones for android 4.1 but nothing of 4.3 .. since I came from 4.3 stock rom and then 4.4 kitkat temasek I think 4.1 won't help me at all
time to go to a service center I guess.
OK this is weird...
after I gave up I put my phone on a recover firmware that for some bizarre reason brought it back to life!!! I just put the phone back and left .. 5 hours later it was on and working.. I was able to access the phone for a brief moment.. but for some reason again I wasn't able to get the touch screen to work... I was able to raise the volume.. restart the phone.. but nothing on touch screen..
then it went back to the dead state...
any ideas?
@boomboomer
Motherboard component or connect lose or failing .

Hey guys i got a slight problem.
I had the Android Revolution HD Rom and i was trying to install another one , it really wasnt my first time doing this however this time a problem occurred.
My volume side buttons are not working so i couldnt get into recovery mode using them also on top of that the rom itself didnt have the option to go to recovery when turning off the phone.
I downloaded the Quick boot tool apk from Playstore and used it to go to recovery... I WISH I DIDNT
now my phone when turned on shows samsung logo and it goes to recovery and quickly goes back to the logo and loops in that way...
Is there anyway to access the download mode without pressing them sidebuttons, i even tried ODIN but it cant recognize the phone because it keeps looping...
I am clueless now and any help would be appreciated.
Sorry for spelling or any typos i am really angry atm.

You can use Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to enter whether download mode or recovery.

It doesn’t sound good then. Please read again threads like this on how to recover from a bootloop. If you really can’t access neither recovery or download mode using adb, that’s out of my knowledge, and you might need to read about how to fix a hard brick. There’s a thread about that in these stickies.

i managed to get into download mode however prior the brick i didnt enable developer mode on the phone and now the pc cannot recognize it when connected.
Developer switch is irrelevant to download mode, search the many threads on things to try to get Odin connected.
After a failed try to install a wrong version of twrp (since there is no version for my model available) I flashed to stock rom and now I cannot enter recovery mode. When I press vol down and power up it enters meta mode. Can someone help?
Also a second problem I am facing but I believe I can fix it by being able to enter recovery mode again :/
Even more so every factory data of my phone has been delete imei,sn,pn I know how to fix imei but nothing else.
That's the reason I want to root my phone to fix all those problems and it has to be Magisk cause I want to play pokemon go in the device ^^;
I thank in advance everyone who will spent some time to give me their advice on the matter.
Hey folks, few days ago i got kind of broken Zuk Z1 phone. After fixing issue with battery i tried to reset it and these is where things got weird.
Before i go into problem itself, im new to flashing/reinstalling OS and i have never done it before. But being a developer im not stranger to command line and compiling (windows and linux) and im willing to use nuclear methods.
Phone boots up normally and it works fine (except home/fingerprint button - im planing to replace it after i fix OS issues). But i cant reset it and i cant flash/reinstall it. Going into settings and selecting reset to factory settings, reboots the phone and it just gets stuck at boot logo (the first screen you ever see - dont mistake it for OS logo). It does not constantly reboot, it just shows that screen and that is it. Enabling developer mode, choosing reboot and selecting recovery mode does the same thing. Powering it off and holding volume up,down and power does the same thing. Holding power and volume down gets me into menu but i cant reset phone from there, not even clear cache like on some tutorial i found online. My options in that menu are these:
Board test
Current test
SD Update
Restore QCN
Save Parameter
Reboot
Some info that might be useful (some are from CPU-Z):
Model Z1 (Ham)
Bootloader K9#CM_8A1690F
Cyanogen OS 12.1-YOG4PAP25I
Android 5.1.1
Kernel 3.4.0-cyanogenmod
SElinux status Enforcing
OEM Unlocking in developers mode enabled
I dont think that the phone is rooter, and i dont know how to check or if i can do it without working recovery mode. I also tried to connect it to PC using ADB but no luck there (I didnt even find working driver). Also there is no SD card slot so i guess SD Update option from that menu is useless (or is it something else?)
I could use it the way it is, but i really dont want to. so help is welcome since i have been trying to fix it for past few days.
Oh and if you need more information or anything just tell me where to look and for what (i dont mind installing additional app)
