Android System Recovery Backup Extract - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Friends,
I've a problem. Actually my android cell phone "INew L4" suddenly restarted and stuck at boot logo. I tried everything to boot it up but failed. So I made Userdata backup via "Android System Recovery" to Memory Card and its created backup files as below:
userdata_20090101_140936.backup and userdata_20090101_140936.backup1 to userdata_20090101_140936.backup6
I format the cellphone and restore it via "Android System Recovery" from Memory Card but it again stuck at boot logo. So I reformat it and its working fine.
Now I just want to extract my data from backup files it created. Is there any way to extract it in Windows?
Thank you!

Is there no one who can help me out?

[Q] Backup problem using CWM recovery mode

Hi, I have a question about the cwm recovery mode (zip file).
My phone is Galaxy S2 with android 4.1.2 (I remember it should be) but I can't boot into android. I only can boot into "Download mode" and "Recovery mode". I want to back up data (eg. photos) then reset factory setting.
I found "CWM recovery" has a function to backup and restore the phone data. I tried to use it by installing update from sdcard.
Then I backed up things. However when I read the sdcard through PC, there is nothing except the recovery zip file.
Then I tried to backup again, it said
"SD card space free: 0MB"
"E: unable to open ums lunfile (no such file or directory)
After some investigation, I found my GS2 RECOGNIZED some of the INTERNAL STORAGE as SD CARD to do the tasks above.
How can I instruct the phone to "know" my real sdcard...and then I believe I can do the backup correctly. I know that the phone data is still here.
Thank you in advance!!

[PLEASE HELP] I formated /system and can't restore

Hi, I was installing a ROM and I formated /system and rebooted but the ROM didn't work it repeatedly said process android sopped or something like that, so I rebooted to CWM recovery and was going to restore from my external SD card but there wasn't an option for that there was an option to restore from internal SD card but it said no files found so now i'm in cwm recovery and when I try to reboot the samsung logo appears and disapears constantly and nothing happens. The CWM recovery version is 6.0.4.4. I have the restore file on my PC. Is there any way I can send it to internal SD card? I can't access it even on my computer because the phone isn't fully booted. [Q] Problem with LG Optimus G E970

Hi,
I'm using an LG Optimus G E970 with E971/E970[Actually my friend installed it & we both don't remember] Kitkat 4.4.2 ROM installed in the device which was working fine until it went blank & deleted all my data including the ROM. So I tried to install the ROM with the TWRP recovery in it. But when I open it the internal storage display as 0MB instead of 16GB & Unable to mount System, Data, Cache, Boot . Then I used LGNPST to use the .bin file to copy but I get an error that Failed to Write Primary Partition GPT, 512th Sector. The Master Bin copies until 85%, Instead of rebooting I get this error. Can someone help me with issue?
Files that I used for LGNPST:
LGNPST_LS970.dll
LGE970AT-01-V20j-310-410-MAR-08-2013.bin
LGNPST_2.2.3_ACG.exe to execute

i've done this LGNPST thing many times but i dont remeber if it is suppose to show a write primary partition error. it does however stop at 85% everytime. then youd just go to the stock recovery (volume down and power button) and do a factory reset and all is well.
Restore EFS Partition
Hey you can restore EFS partition and then do LGPNST again.

I too am facing exactly the same issue. Can anyone help with this
Same issue here. The phone just crashed in the middle of the night, everything gone.
Tried LGNPST, restoring EFS (script fails, using adb works but doesn't change anything).
Seems like the phone needs to go to the trash...
Bummer.

i lost all data after flash this twrp!
1 i get into the oneplus offically recovery and it shows the password, and i wrongly typed many times,it says i should wait.i didnt think this would have the relationship with the following situation
2 i fastboot the img , it crashed at the boot interface, and it try fastboot boot again,it worked, and i get into the recovery startup footage, but it didnt show the decrypt password, and all the folder name is mess, and the sd size is about 60GB (but my phone is 256g)
i reboot again and fastboot again
3 it didn't show the decrypt password when i fastboot boot this img
but it shows the folder name normally, but the folder is empty
and it shows a 10GB sd storage and i use pc to transfer the zip to the sd / twrp folder ,then i flash the .zip
and i reboot it automaticlly factory reset!!!
