hi guys, as I said on the title my phone keeps rebooting on its own or freezing. I noticed that without the sim card or in offline mode it doesn't do that anymore, I'm runinng the latest 6.0.1
Someone have any idea why this could happen and what to try to solve it? I already wiped data, tryed custom firmwares etc. Thanks.
Hi,
I recently upgraded my Lenovo A6000 phone from stock to RR. Mobile data gets disconnected after sometimes. Same happens for RR in my Moto X pure. I have to restart the phone in order to get the data back ON or sometimes aeroplane mode works. In *#*4636#*#* hidden menu, the data connection status showing is "connecting" rather than "connected". Signal strength is good. Tried resetting APNs, Dalvik/Cache reset, and nothing works. The network still gets to "connecting" mode at random times. Any solution to this? Any way to debug this? I'm fed up with restarting the phone. :crying:
Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

May i know what it does? I saw some image files inside the flash-able zip resembling modem files and other files. Ain't those specific for different makes?

The solution to this problem is the corrupted kernel. Flash the rom once again and then flash a kernel. This should fix the error.

You are a life saver. I was scared to work with kernel files. First few tries failed after playing with modem, modemst1, st2. Had kept backup. In the end putting back fsg file did the trick. LTE is stable now in my Lenovo A6000.
Waiting for VoLTE patch for Moto X Pure xt1572 (For Jio of course). Will fix it after that and update you guys. Thank you

Try to reflash stock ROM, try then to update to the current version.
If it doesn't find any update, use this tool:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/development/tool-motorola-ota-link-generator-tool-t3537039
Background: I recently flashed a nougat stock rom (retbr on reteu device) and it showed "Baseband: Not Found" (or something like that) in the bootloader. When the latest update was installed, there was something written, and wifi/bluetooth is working well in cuetom rom.
Hi guys, I have a Moto Z xt1650-03 that after being officially updated to Android 8.0, began to fail the WiFi and Bluetooth.
The Moto Z does not restart and not turn Of.
The wifi mac address show: 02:00:00:00:00:00
I tried to flash a Firmware, and still the same.

Currently it does not restart, but if I turn on the WiFi the phone slows down after about 1 minute and finally it restarts and then the same thing happens again, unless I turn off the wifi. Did that happen to anyone else? And how did you solve it?
When I turn on WiFi, no Wi-Fi network is shown and the same happens when I turn on Bluetooth.

I had issues with the stock Oreo file. Flash custom kernel. I'd recommend ElementalX. But you have to unlock your phone's bootloader first, flash custom recovery then flash the custom kernel. Should fix your problems
Thanks

Thanks, I already have the bootloader unlocked.
You can tell me, for my phone, which custom recovery and ROM?
And how to do it?

Now I can turn off and restart the phone without problems.
But I still can not turn on the WIFI & Bluetooth
Dear friend,
I have encountered the same problem in my Bristish Moto Z XT1650-03.
Last week, my device's battery had run out and, it powered off by itself.
Then I charged, when it finished, I turned on it, however, the battery run to fast, just serveral hours, from 100% down to 50 %, the point is I turned off WiFi and 4G, apps also close.
I decided to restart Moto Z so that refresh battery, but at this time, it aways restart without reasons, when access to home screen, 2 minutes after, it will restart. I thought that's battery data's issue, I format all phone's data and reset the phone serveral times.
Now my phone will not be restarted by itself, but WiFi and Bluetooth could be used.
Very sad...
Any other idea?

Hello, I've flashed my WAS-LX2 and a Nvidia Tablet and wanted my friend to help him get free from that emui thing.
I know that the KII-L22 is a GR5 but in another thread it said it was the same (I should have searched a GR5 rom instead)
Found the official Lineage Honor 5x ROM and tried flashing it with TWRP. When it restarted it started bootlooping with color inversion and "ink tears" and knew I ducked up.
Tried rebooting into TWRP but the touchscreen didn't work for some reason it would update like when turning off (it didn't) and turning on the screen the lock screen would appear.
I tried erecovery but same thing. Buttons didn't work too. But it would update the charging icon when connected.
Other than the update mode, I can't think of other thing. Please help and thanks in advance.
