I have just followed the ODIN Long instructions on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399
I have a locked to network standard S2 and now when I switch it on, I get the exclamation mark but then the screen goes black and loads of dots start to appear, eventually going to a nearly white with black grey dots.
Is it bricked? Could I recover from this? If I try to get to recovery mode, it does the yellow ! screen twice then flashes then does the dots thing as above.

wrong place mate,
but i don´t think it´s broken, just put it on download mode and flash one rom from sammobile.com, and before doing it again, READ a lot
I realised I posted in the wrong place but cannot see any way to delete. I will try, thanks again.
I did a stupid thing when I first got my sgs 2, flashed a modem from a different phone and thought the phone was bricked.
The way I solved was to reboot in download mode and flash a stock rom then root the phone again. Hope this helps you.

Are u able to boot into download mode? If so, flash stock rom via odin n see if that helps
Unable to boot into download mode, plus the phone doesn't show on my pc. And it always try to boot into recovery even if i just press power button or power button+home button +volum key down.
Phone booted finally, just left the battery out half an hour.
I have a Samsung Orange GT-I9105P with android 4.1.2. Due to an unrelated problem(boot loop caused by android device manager, don't turn it on if you have 4.1.2) I had to factory reset my phone. When I entered recovery mode(with no root, with stock ROM) I saw a background with a android on the ground with a red sign, I could select any option, and after selecting one the android stood up and had some blue lines on it. When rebooting it fell down again with the red sign. Everything works fine, and I have root now(stock ROM). I got the phone from my father, so it;s possible that he did something to the phone. What does it mean when recovery mode has the android on the ground with red sign?(it still happens, and I can still select any option)
hey,
so i recently had my s7 edge fixed because of the green and purple stripes problem.
since i got it back i wasn't able to update it and the phone was pretty laggy i tried updating it with smart switch and when it completed the download i got a blue screen telling me "installing system updates" then suddenly a dead android appeared with an exclamation mark and i was booted into recovery mode.
no matter how many times i reset or reboot i get the same triangle and get booted into recovery mode and i can only access recovery mode and odin mode.
my device won't start up at all.
please help!?
ps:
i tried flashing the phone with odin many times with the latest software for my phone version from sammobile and the same thing happened over and over.
