Hi,
I'm using Remics-JB v5.0.2 rom, with the latest INTL Sultan kernel on my SGP5.0.
My problem is- as can be seen in the attached pictures, - when I set the clock alignment to center and I pull down the notification bar, the clock disappears. If it's aligned to the right it shows up correctly BUT only if the date isn't enabled. If it is, then it will mess up again everything. (The "SZE" stands for Szerda, the Hungarian word for Wednesday :laugh
And another thing; on the second picture, why does the Settings button have that loading bar instead of a normal green line?
Any solution for these problems ? I really like to use center clock with date enabled. Thanks!

that is to show you that is not a toggle
I tried another launcher than stock but I switched back because there where no settings/shortcut icons (wi-fi on off etc.) there. But now I can't get them back. Where are they? I just have notifications now.
Have I messed with some setting somewhere or what?

With the modified EUI, there are no Quicksettings in Notification area. You have to press the softkey left (= square, Menu Button) to launch the "recent apps" screen with shortcuts to most system settings und some (configurable) other shortcuts...
Aha! Thanks. There they where. Not a good place in my opinion. Really bad place to have "shortcuts" on
other question about the notification bar. Is their a way to change the really small fonts against bigger ones ? Sometimes it's hard to view the ultra small icons and letters in the notification bar. It's so small that I believe I need glasses. I'm on EUI 5.9.23S
regards,
Frank

1.) Tap and hold the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Quick Settings menu. After a few seconds, lift your finger and you will see a popup at the bottom telling you that the System UI Tuner has been added to your Settings.
2.) Go to your settings and into system UI tuner. (it is at the bottom of settings.)
3.) Check the box to Show embedded battery percentage.
4.) Configure the way you want your tiles displayed and in what order under quick settings. Under status bar you can turn off features you don't use so they never show as an option in the status bar.
5.) Done!

I was using this a couple of Moto versions back and kept hoping they would eventually let you replace the battery bar with nothing but a percent, but it never happened. It's so small I find myself blinking to make out the numbers.
Yeah that why I used Gravitybox with circle battery and % but my old eyes have trouble no matter what..lol

Xposed is what I"m going to miss most by not being able to root. I used Gravitybox and Flat Style Status Bar to completely change the status bar around. I have always hated the default Android status bar. I like my clock in the center and nothing but a percent for the battery.
Does this work?
Does this actually work on the G4?
I have an unlocked UK retail G4 and the cog does not spin and the System UI tuner is not added to the menu.
Could someone with a UK model please confirm if this does or does not work for them.

Works on my US G4. Pull down notification, press and hold on the gear in the top-right for 5 seconds or so, let go, System UI Tuner gets added to Settings.

Yes, tap and hold the cog in the drop down notification menu for 20 seconds (edit XT1622, dual sim from Motorola direct)
After reading around on the internet I have managed to solve this. I had turned on the developer option and changed the animation speed to x0.5. This seemed to somehow break the spinning cog.
Having now turn that off again and rebooted the cog does now spin as it should! Thanks for the help.

I tried this on a 16gb G4(US variant non-amazon) and Nexus 5x, but no dice. How long are you suppose to hold it? I tired 5, 10, and 20 seconds, didn't work.

You didn't change the animation speed in Developer Options did you? You should see it start to spin almost immediately.

Note: Don't have Animations (in Developer Options) set to Off. And then turn Developer Options OFF. Until you do that you won't get the System UI Settings added. And then reboot.

Set the animation speed back to the default 1x and reboot.

Did you try turning off the Developer Options? That's what fixed it for me.
I did this on an amazon moto G4 with the stock OEM.img flashed in. The menu shows up, and I can make it show battery% and turn off status bar icons, but, none of the "Quick Settings" changes actually take effect, even after a reboot. Not a big deal, but good to be aware of.
If you would like to have a larger battery percentage than this gives, download Clean UI launcher. In the launcher settings go to components settings and you can select battery percentage. Make sure status bar clear is turned on. This will give you an IOS style status bar. If you do not want IOS styled notification screen, make sure notification clear is turned off. You do not have to use CleanUI as your launcher for this to work. I have tried this with Nova and Google Now launchers.

That's not common, because I have the same phone and looked at another and in both the quick settings take effect.
I also had to turn off battery saver first.
But I prefer it to show % beside the battery icon not inside battery icon, old eyes.
Reboot cell removes %
I 've got some sort of a pen like , round icon on the home screen of my Pixel 6. It only function seems to be to turn the screen from color to black and white and then back to color again. It's useless to me. Any idea how to get rid of it?
That is in accessibility settings.
So it is. Thank you very much!
Hi to everyone.
This morning, out of the blue, the notification bar of my Mate 20 pro simply disappeared.
I'm referring to the top bar where you can see phone signal, battery charge and time.
When i open any apps, the bar appears again but when i'm in the home of the phone, it doesn't show up anymore.
Anyone can help me to bring it back?
Thanks!
Hello to everyone.
Problem solved.
It was due to my customized launcher which, for some reason, changed the settings by itself and removed the bar.
All I had to do was to change that setting to the old mode and everything returned to normality.
