I followed a guide that I probably shouldn't have, and installed zombie_b2_32.0.A.5.32.img with Z5C_OnClick_320A532.
Now when I boot up the phone, I receive com.android.acore and com.android.phone have stopped.
I tried to boot into recovery, but it only boots to safe mode with the same problem.
In the background of the xperia z5 compact, It is asking me to setup the phone for the first time (language etc.), By constantly clicking OK and quickly choosing options between popups, I can progres, But as soon as it gets to Wi-Fi, it freezes and reboots.
It doesn't seem to be able to connect when the phone is in fastboot (Power +Volume Up).
Hope someone can help me.
I got it sorted.
First I found this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/help/ive-bricked-z5c-t3233321
Which led me to this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/help/z5c-unbranding-stock-firmware-downloads-t3227344
And these tools

I flashed a firmware and all is good with the World again.

Hi to all.
Recently I bought a L9 p760, flashed with v20c open stock and then rooted. I've installed some root apps, and playing with them I've accidentally make something wrong. At the first reboot of the smartphone the LGSystemUI.apk and the Keyboard.apk crash repeatedly, showing the error modal window at every second.
So I've proceed with the Hard Reset, and reboot again. At this point things were even worse. The SetupWizard procedure appears to me, but I'm unable to skip and go on, because of SystemUI and Keyboard frequently crashes. In addition to this, the SetupWizards.apk itself crashes at the end of the procedure, and then it re-runs again from the first screen.
Now, I think that flashing the rom again I could repair this problem, but the LG flashing tool working only with a booted device connected to PC in SW mode, condition that I cannot reach at all, cause I'm stuck to the SetupWizard screen.
Now, is there a way to flash a ROM using the recovery mode? (Vol+ + central button + power)
Thanks for any help!
Ok, so something seems to have gone very wrong with flashing my phone :S
I managed to get recovery working yesterday, and followed the steps in this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/4-4-4-creating-rooted-update-package-t2933155 , to create a pre-rooted 5.0.2 image. I put it on the external SD card, booted into recovery and installed the flashable zip, then used flashtool to flash with the instructions (though I also cleared Appslog, Cache and Data to get a fresh install). This went fine and everything appeared to be ok. I then tried to get the Xposed Alpha installed, but after that whenever the phone was rebooting it just hung if trying to boot to Android. I tried re-flashing with Flashtool, but still got the same issue. Would boot fine the first time, but then any restart it would just hang and crash out. Tried clearing the cache from recovery, but no difference.
So today, I went into recovery, re-installed the flashable.zip, then powered off the phone and flashed using flashtool, just as I had yesterday. Now though, my phone wont boot. It shows the Sony logo, then a blank screen, then restarts. Even worse, it will no longer boot into recovery. I hold the volume down button when the LED shows, nothing. I try holding the volume down button all the way through several bootloops, nothing.
I've tried to re-flash using flashtool which goes through the process ok, I can hold the volume down button and connect the cable once its in the process of rebooting, and it goes through all the process fine. It then powers off as expected and I can just disconnect and power on the phone. But it's still stuck in the bootloop and I don't have TWRP recovery.
Is there anything I can do to get my Z2 working?
Update - Re ran flashtool, this time not excluding system, only Partition. It now gets a little further, going to "Powered by Android" and giving the purple wavy lines, but after a minute or so it just hangs and restarts again. And still no recovery sadly....
I think I've got it sorted...
Used Flashboot again to do a flash, excluding System and Partition. This time the phone does boot up normally. The downside being that my root was gone. Despite my flashing a pre-rooted image, it seemed to just put a stock image on. And my recovery is still mysteriously gone.
In the end, just to get things completely back to a stable/stock starting point for later on, I ran a repair from PC Companion. Seems I was in the none rooted position anyway so figured I'd get myself to a more certain position. At least this way I can wait for someone to come up with a root for 5.0.2 so I can root and get recovery back.
i recently flashed a new firmware on my sony xperia z2.
everthing went good.
i started up my phone and as i wanted to type in my sim code there was the error Unfortunately,android.process.acore has stopped for a millisecond and then my phone rebooted again and again and again.
pls i wanted also flash another firmware but the same thing happened.
Please Help.
Did a forum search and tried every solution I could but this is where I am at......D6503
Same problem as OP
Had working MM (niaboc79's found @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/rom-official-6-0-1-23-5-0-486-beta-t3336770) but for some reason without the included recovery.
Decided I would install [NUT]'s Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.26-RELEASE.combined in preperation for future flashes.
This lead to a Bootloop.
Then I flashed D6503_Customized ES_1281-4644_23.4.A.1.264_R8C.ftf via Flashtool.
This helped me passed the initial Bootloop, all looked good, got the usual "program optimizing" load up.
System booted, albeit in Spanish, to language screen.
After that I got a few errors such as "unfortunately media...gmail...stopped" which allow me to press "OK"
then the "unfortunately,android.process.acore has stopped" message which is where the system freezes and reboots.
If I leave it alone and don't touch it, it just boots for 5/10 seconds before freezing and rebooting.
I tried flashing a different ftf however since flashing D6503_Customized ES_1281-4644_23.4.A.1.264_R8C.ftf all my settings have been reset, so USB Debugging etc is no longer checked which means it will not allow flashing.
I have access via Fastboot and Flashmode but I am unsure what I can do with these to restore a working system.
While phone is booting Flashtool reads my device correctly (model, firmware) and informs me I do not have root access, Busybox any longer.
It does give me the option at this stage, via now accessible tabs in Flashtool, to "root," "ask root permissions," and "install apk" but nothing I do works.
One one occasion, not sure what I did as I seem unable to repeat it, but it said I did infact HAVE root access. At that point I should have clicked on Flashtools "install recovery" or "root" tab but unfortunately didn't.
What are my options here? Is there a solution I can perform myself at this stage?
Thanks in advance
UPDATE:
Tried again for the 600th time, this time took my memory card out and it seems to have flashed the "...264" rom.
Select all wipes when flashing a new firmware.
Afternoon
I have a Lenovo 7" tablet which is sticking on boot...to describe:
tablet off, charge screen working fine (green battery)
can get into menu to select fastboot mode or recovery
fastboot works, at least screen appears!
recovery shows dead android/no command screen - how to access recovery?
booting up, get inital orange logo then a 'bing' and start of boot but then freezes on the second logo
tablet not visible on PC, even in fastboot mode (have installed drivers)
I'm looking to get this going but am a bit stumped. I tried reinstalling firmware but can't get SPF Tools to work with any available scatter files; I would like to install TWRP (I found a potential image file on XDA) but can't do this until the PC recognises it....and I'm going round in circles now....any suggestions gratefully received. :good:
Update
OK, post was maybe a bit premature - I've kinda fixed my issues.
Managed to get into recovery after watching many videos (most of which were wrong, but hey-ho, got me on the right path!). At dead android screen, press and hold in power + vol up + vol down together (there is a bit of knack, turn it on its side with buttons facing up seems to be easiest) - this fires up the recovery screen (android standard recovery).
I managed to get over my bootloop issue by performing a data wipe/factory reset and cache wipe, then restarted fine.
As this was a secondhand tablet (my usual purchases - good condition bootloops!) - once it booted up I got into the set-up screens only to discover a Google lock issue. I ran the FRP unlock from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11050483647474832839 using the instructions from here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f958/lenovo-tab-4-7-essential-tb4-7304f-frp-remove-2322527/ (Voltrans second post, not the original one which has a 404 error on the download site). This removed the FRP lock straight off and now I have a functioning tablet.
I'm probably going to try getting custom recovery on so will see how that goes - I'll post back
and...that's all folks....
OK, despite finding a TWRP recovery online https://twrpbuilder.github.io/downloads/twrp/#441 and downloading it, can I get the fastboot unlocked? no.
Apparently Lenovo locked them all up and threw away the key, so nothing more can be done here.
I tried various iterations of fastboot oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock, and nothing works, just get an error - and yes, I did put developer options on, OEM unlocking ticked and USB debugging active.... :silly:
So, unless someone can point me in a direction on how to unlock it - I've reached the end of the road with this one
Hello community,
I haven't posted here before, so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.
I have a problem with my Neffos X1 and after browsing the internet for hours nothing helped so far, so I hope some of you can help me out.
My phone is stuck in a bootloop since yesterday evening. I haven't done any updates or new installations recently, so it just happened out of the blue. It loads till the Neffos logo and then restarts over and over again.
Since I can't take the battery out, I tried letting it run out of energy and then restart, but as soon as I connect it to a power source the bootloop will start again.
I read a lot about getting it in recovery mode or to try and flash it, but no matter what combination of buttons I try, nothing is happening. The phone basically doesn't react to anything and just keeps restarting. The only thing I noticed is, that when pushing both volume keys the screen will just stay black (no restarting), but after letting go the bootloop will start again.
I tried flashing it via SP Flash Tools, but the phone also doesn't react to it.
Lots of troubleshooting guides also require, that I have rooted my phone in the past, unfortunatly I haven't. I also read about unlocking the bootloader, but since my phone isn't reacting to any buttons and my laptop also doesn't seem to recognize my phone (probably because it doesn't boot proberly), that doesn't seem like a solution either.
To summarize: I'm stuck in a bootloop with no recovery mode, no rooting, no unlocking bootloader, probably can only use my laptop to do anything remotely.
So, is there anything you can think of, that might help me get out of the bootloop? Or ideas of what I may did wrong when trying the other solutions?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Same problem
I have the same problem, I have tried all kinds of soft reset and nothing is working I also opened the phone to check if anything was not connected properly, but everything seems fine except for that infinite loop. Please help!

Try this
Download phone's Stock Firmware onto your personal computer.
Install the USB MTK Drivers - NOT ANY OTHERS (skip if you have them already installed).
Download and Launch the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)
Click the Scatter-loading button to navigate to the Stock Rom you just downloaded.
Select the Scatter File from the extracted Stock Firmware on your computer.
Select the Download Only in the SP flash tool option
Click the Download button to start the Formating process.
Connect your phone via USB to the computer>> holding volume + and volume – button of your phone at the same time or holding power button only so that the flashing process will starting working
Patiently wait for your device to be formatted.
After the formatting is done, a Big Green button will pop up on the SP Flash to show that.
Unplug phone and boot it up.
If you have a boot loop after booting your device, boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
Voila, you are all good.
