I have a Verizon Moto E [XT1528] and it came with Android 5.1
I want to downgrade to 5.0.2 to get Band 12 since I am not able to get a 4G connectivity in my area
Whenever I try to flash Android 5.0.2 I keep getting failure messages

Remote failure
FAILED
I really need help to downgrade please help me
The Verizon model never had Band 12, so downgrading wouldn't enable it.
I want to try anyway
Just tell me how to get rid of the failed messages
um trying from many days to dowangrade bcoz my one is sign in locked (after hard reset). if u got any way to downgrade plz share here.
well..at least I don't want to downgrade..I want to flash 5.1 firmware but it keeps giving me fail messages
xcept latest firmware every other rom giving failed message.

Well let me start i try to download custom room to my G2 touch T mobile so i search thousand sites and try lots of method but all fail the only thing that work for me was that i got root and superoneclick root method from the unlockr also got the Gold card too but couldn't flash the recovery img also i so that many people had this problem don't know if they solve it or not but didnt see any one that put a catalog for this error massage or why didn't xda developers didn't make special forums for error massages and problems while root or update your device i hope they take this as a suggestion it will be very useful ok the error massages that i got is these errors :
1 . when i try to update through wifi or through the Sd card i got massages like this

2. when i try to revcover the flash imge from recovery flasher i get this error
cun not run the command
3 when i use sdk and trying to load the recovery flash and download boot img i get this error
download img failed " remote not allowed "
can anyone explain these one by one and how to solve it before i bring a big hummer and break this dmmn t mobile ( sorry for my languge but iam really get tared with it ) i just wanna get custome room

Maybe it's hard to understand your problem. Cause it's difficult to understand one long sentence...
Anyway. Is the phone actually rooted or not? If yes, and you where trying official updade on wifi, the error you get is natural.
More can be said if I get the exact state of the phone.

oh thank you for stopping by .. yes i get rooted but the real problem is cant flash the recovery img i try every where but is give me erro even in the sdk is tell me remote not allowed so dont know what to do to past this

Press power vol up and down at the same time. Use ap fast boot mode and then download rsd lite install it. Know this is the important part. For the rsd to flash without giving error you need to download the correct firmware depending on your model. You need to take in consideration that if your phone was in android 4.1.2 you need to install firmware with android 4.1.2 if you try to install 4.0.4 it will give an error. So how do we get the sbf firmware of motorola xt885 if we recently updated to jellybean mistakenly. But want to flash jellybean firmware because of how we can go back to ics. Elboss help is there a way? A utility or jellybean sbf will help. Thanks

Anyone done downgrade from nougat to mm? on h960a? Every firmware i try, i get error in lgup when its flashing system. It passes antirollback so that is not the problem. Maybe i didnt get the right firmware
ps after losing my mind for 3 days straight i managed to find v10 tmobile twrp backup with 5.11 android and it actually worked lol. Now its updating to 6.0
ps it changed my phone to 901 tmobile lol. So after i found some afganistan site where one custom rom for 901 has a bug and turns your phone model to 960a and i flashed it to get my model back
Could you please elaborate a little more on how you did it? I need to get H960A down from 7 to 6 (possibly without any update) and cannot find any way to do it.

I just got my OnePlusNord 2 and it is currently on build DN2103_11_A.10.
The updates to A17 and A19 have already failed. The phone reboots several times and then comes back with a verification error and I should try again.
I already tried doing a full wipe etc but nothing worked so far.
I'd like to update to an earlier version first e.g. A14 and check if the update works afterwards but I can't find the official files.
I just want the security patches and don't want to hustle with custom roms.
Any help is very much appreciated

This appeared whe I altered vbmeta.img and boot.img to get the root.
Don't know what exactly provocate this error?
Tried to recover vbmeta y stock boot.img without success.
Are you sure your boot.img was not altered?

I got the phone from Amazon Warehouse. Maybe the previous owner changed it but I honestly doubt that. There are plenty of users facing the same issue and I now just returned it and got another one.
The update works on that phone but this is not a solution for everyone ...
