I just bought the box MXQ PRO+ (2gb ram, 16gb rom) a chinese site , except that once I do the update, the box will not boot (blue LED lit)
there is no reset boutton derrier output vd
how to reset without reset boutton?

I'm not sure what experience you have with android but it sounds like you need to flash a firmware. If you search Google for mxq pro you'll find the web site from the manufacturer. There you can DL the firmware. If you search Google for info on how to flash or sideload a firmware, you'll be able to get directions on that. My research tells me that you'll need a male to male USB A cable to make it work. Oh and a computer of course. Hope this helps.

You seem to keep missing the part about the MXQ Pro PLUS does not have a reset button anywhere. Mine was rebooting while streaming. Tech support was no help except to tell me there's no reset button. I tried to do a fresh install from the SD-card and now it won't boot up. How do I do a restore without a reset button?

I tried to flash some firmware, but i think they was incompatible, i got only errors
Originally bought two identical MXpro Android TV Boxes. Since one of them freezes at startup on Android logo (won't enter launcher). My question: is there any way to copy certain files & folders directly from the other identical box to get it to boot up correctly once again? *issue is that I have no use of any computer at the moment. Either this method or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! -Dave.D.

what you need to do is procure the factory image. i may be wrong but there isn't a S905 with 2 gb ram and 16gb nand. the first ones were S905x (excluding capabilities of the S912). there are plenty of alternative roms available including linux based. search around and you will find your firmware. you can even contact the seller you bought it from including amazon and ebay. check chinagadgetreviews.com also. alot can be found there. theres other forums too. once you find your correct firmware, reflash it and see if that resolves your issues. if not. boot twrp on the other one and make a full backup. take this backup, and move it to an area on your sd where you can find it then restore it on the buggy box. make sure you keep a backup copy of everything that works, especially if you cannot find the original. if you look really really hard, you may even find some fully compatible generic images that some developers are kind enough to maintain. you may need to make friends with a ruski to get it tough. thats the best hint im willing to give without provoking any admins or mods (sorry guys if i broke any rules).
im going back under my rock now.
oh and another tip, not all devices are the same. even if they say the same brand. there are differences in wifi chips. you should be able to figure this out. usually theres some model or sticker on the bottom or on the box it came in

ahh, you may need to figure out "Mask Rom Mode" to force your device to be detected by burn tool, assuming you have already tried different usb port on pc, reinstalling burn tool & Also tryed adding power at same time connecting the usb cable
Mecool BB2 (not pro) 3/16 GB box. After uploading the firmware atvXperience_v2H_s912 i want to back to original firmwae and box stopped at the logo and that's it.
I performed the steps described on the net, and flash again with USB Burning Tool after reset pins on the PCB. Firmware flashing successful, without errors, but the box does not respond, the blue LED is on (optical too), screen is dark when connected to the tv with HDMI or AV cable. I have tried several different firmware moded and original and the effect is the same.
What's going on? Maybe someone know how to run it? I will be grateful for any help.

Help Required - android TV box is dead after flashing wrong
MEcool KII Pro s905d 2gb version Purchase in 2020
By mistake or lack of knowledge, I have flashed wrong rom, from then it is not booting on, only blue light is there, no desplay on screen, when powered on.
After that flashed different stock rom .img files from PC using USB, by pin shorting method.
USB tool shows flash is successful, but still there is no desplay, only blue light
Please suggest what can be done to get it working....

Hello my tv box does not give any kind of life after flashing attempt, the only application that recognizes me on the pc is amlogic burning tool but all firmwares remain at 2%,7%,8%, etc.. Bach tool and android tool do not recognize me as if it was not connected my tv box is a mxq pro 4k amlogic s905x quad core a53, android 7.1.2, cpu 64 bit, 1 gb ram and 8 gb storage.
I also tried touching pins 4-5, 5-6 and 7-8 as they say on the internet but it didn't work.

extra info: when it was turned on at startup it showed the amlogic 905w logo but it's really s905x.
