My device is Moto E (2nd Gen) 2015 4G LTE India generic.. I was running the XOSP ROM , then I restored my Moto to the stock ROM which is Android marshmallow 6.0. Since then I have tried to root my device but every time I am flashing SuperSU through TWRP and rebooting my phone is not getting passed the Moto E boot screen Moto logo..waited for as long as 6 hrs but nothing further happened...so therefore had to go back in stock firmware again..is there any way I would be rooting my device with..
Solved..successfully rooted

Flashed SuperSu made for chainfire SuperSu system less installation..now successfully rooted my device..exact version is SuperSu 2.62-3
After that updated the SuperSu from play store to the latest version 2.76 and binary was successfully updated..
N.B: Doing factory reset will invalidate the root on the device..

OTA can not be installed when the TWRP or ROOT are installed.
They interfere with the installation by modifying the original system, especially TWRP because the OTA is not to flash. Care! Try to install the OTA with installed ROOT and TWRP can brick your Moto E.
Return to Stock 4.4.4. It does not have ROOT or TWRP. This enables the OTA installation usually via stock recovery with no problem.
[[[Sorry for my "bad English". I am a Brazilian and I'm using Google translator (which is horrible). Do not worry, I'm a power user, have tested over 15 custom roms and I've done a lot on my Moto E.]]]
i've unloacked the bootloader of my MOTO E thn i rooted it with king root, thn i went to bootloader menu and cleared all the data including system and proceeded to install the CM 13 but the installation failed and im unable to install any ROM, the bootloader is working though, what should i do?
Check that all things are working well
Redownload the rom searching the device as "condor"
Re-flash the latest version of twrp
If this doesn't work flash the stock rom and follow an tutorial of how to root the device on the general section
May be zip curoupted

Hi all,
I have a moto e2 LTE surnia XT1527. I have have in stock marshmallow (24.51.39.surnia_amxla.amxla.en.01) and I've been using it for quite some time. I have twrp 3.0.2 installed and working fine (I only had to flash 6.0 by hand because twrp breaks OTA).
The problem I'm having is when trying to root it. I've tried beta-supersu 2.67 and 2.71 and stable-supersu 2.65 and with them I have the same problem:
After flashing the supersu.zip, the phone stops booting and hungs in the boot loader (it vibrates, shows the 'unlocked bootloader' and that's it). I have 'fixed' the phone by flashing system.img_sparsechink files, but that only get's me the phone back without root.
How can I get root? is this a selinux issue (which would totally make sense)?
Wrong thread, this is for moto e 1st gen.
But anayway, you need to flash the zip file of supersu stable, not the beta, because the beta make changes on the boot.img for make su work

I was running Android 7.0 and I wanted to root the phone. I flashed TWRP and downloaded the newest version of SuperSU. This is my first time attempting to root a device, and I didn't think to make a backup in TWRP before attempting to install SuperSU. It seemed to install okay but when I reboot the device I am stuck on the Splash screen. What should I do now? Has anyone successfully rooted the Moto G4 from Amazon with Lockscreen Ads?
i was on moto z 7.1.1 and it was unlocked.
i found yesterday Oreo update so i downloaded it using the moto app the official way to update locked phone.
but when my phone reboot he run the teamwin so whatever i am doing he go to teamwin not the update screen so i tried to make the phone open but it didn't .
now i just realized that i have just wipe the storage now when i am reboot the teamwin
it say there is no os installed
what shout i do now
please help
