Update 24/08/2016 : Root Methode
Root is possible with eZroot
Installation :
copy ezroot.zip in your usb dongle or hard disque
turn on your box in recovery mod
in recovery mod go to update firmware and select ezroot
accepte and wait.....
.....your box is now rooted
go to android and update SuperU
Finish !
For me is a good box but à lot of bug / problem :
Launcher : Launcher google (leanback) is not customisable (you can't pick your apps ! is very boring ! xtreamer have pick xtreamer app's but for EU region is not good.... ) and you can't update leanback launcher...
TV issue : application tv have a big bug screen you can't see settings menu... you must navigate "blind" for go to settings menu...
TV issue : freez is very important when you change chanel...
TV issue : not have ccam option....
Kodi : Kodi pre-installed is very catastrophic ! better you remove Kodi and install SPMC !
Openelec : Openelec lag... i have install Aeon Mq7 and is very slow... (i have try same installation in intel nuc (openelec Jarvis) Celeron... very fast.... so you must desactivate all effect in the theme
if someone have information, tweak, trick or config for this box, (or maybe a custome firmware....) it would be a pleasure for improvement
I have try to install Libreelec Amlogic.. fail... and Malaysik custom rom for K1 PLUS (Box with same specs) Fail.... always black screen box dont start :silly:
TRY THIS ONE FOR K1 PLUS

i add root method tonight
post 1 edited with rood instruction.
i knew it that ezroot is the solution
Is possible to install classic Android Stock to this device? Android TV is not good idea...
i think.... all it's possible ! now how to install classic android stock. i dont now i dont have tested that.
but my opignon buy other box... xtreamer is not good brand !
How can I install latest firmware for this. I went to the website and in the downloads section, they have so many options but none for mxv. I need the upgrade as I am unable to get Dolby Digital Plus sound out of this.
Any news about this device? The xtreamer forum is not available anymore.
mxV firmware update
The Xtreamer.net website is down "for maintenance" for months now, not sure if they are coming back.
They have a post on Facebook from April 4, 2017 with "latest firmware" for MXV:
Code:
mega.nz/#F!ZJ0UkTwZ!0FCmO_6wpHBD-JFHe8ayFQ
The file is named
Code:

And it contains

The only question I have: how do I install this?
Hi.maybe who has a valid download link? xtreamer_mxv_p20x_2016-06-24.udisk.zip
The link mega.nz/#F!ZJ0UkTwZ!0FCmO_6wpHBD-JFHe8ayFQ works for me.
I somehow thought it's Android 7, but its only Lollipop.
Be aware that the installation removes the OpenElec installation.
can anyone share twrp backup?with firmware xtreamer_mxv_p20x_2016-06-24.udisk.
no longer needed, I found.
TV issue : application tv have a big bug screen you can't see settings menu... you must navigate "blind" for go to settings menu...
to fix it.It is necessary from build.prop to remove the line

Hi everyone, i'm from Brazil, and i need a liitle help.
This week, i bought a chinese tab, Foston FS-M787S, but it comes with a lot of chinese apps and without root, with this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2343531&highlight=gt811+inverted i installed Cyanogenmod 10 in it. But the touchscreen don't work, when i applied the patch, the touchscreen is inverted. Searching in the web, i found a app called "Android Tablet Touch Solution - by RTO-TEAM", and i tried options from 1 to 5, to found the right option, the display driver of this tablet is gt811. when i run the option 6, all scripts don't work, but the last script "updating boot image" is ok. after this, the tablet don't pass from foston screen (the first screen that appears when it start up), don't enter in recovery, just stop in this screen. Please help me!!!! The only option that work (to recognize in pc, not as removable storage or debug) is when i press 'home' button and reset button (not power). But nothing happens! Help me please!!!
OBS: I make a backup of the factory rom with clockworkmod, but is in internal storage of tablet
Help me to found a way to reinstall the factory system and unbrick the tablet!!!! Please

Friends .
First I would like to congratulate you for the initiative to install the rom in JLB foston FS - M787S .
Well I had problems with my FS - M787s , I needed to install your rom , because by the firmware of my problems , I could not do a backup .
Acquire another FS - M787S , with original Rom working perfectly , plus the accelerometer chip is different . Is mma 7660 and standing with his rom is DMAR06 .
Good not see the problem , unfortunately most of the battery which is with Rom Jely BEAN 4.1.1 , warms the A13 chip and drains the battery very fast .
I made a backup of the original rom FS - M787S which is working perfectly , via ClockworkMod .
More to try to make the recovery of this backup original rom in Rom FS - M787S with JB , the finalikzar the restore and boot , it boots up more FOSTON lock the screen after the video of the car on the highway .
I opened the two FSM- 787s . The only difference is the chip accelerometer that in FS - M787 rom with original model MMA7660 , and the other is DMAR06 .
I would love to be able to leave the two with the original rom foston .
Are there other ways to make an image or backup that can actually restore the Tablet ?
thank you

Updated the first page ...soon all the procedure to have right root!
Thankssss.
Before I buy Zopo Speed 7 plus please clarify one thing because I'm confused. On the package it says clearly MTK6753 Octa Core 1.5 Ghz, but in one review on YouTube antutu shows a 1.3.
Please what is the truth? Is it 1.5 or 1.3?
Does this phone have nfc?

I have buy one too from geekbuying
Near the 10 Sept i will have it
I'm thinking about getting this phone (the 5" version) too. If you have any interesting findings or even would be willing to write a review, please share it here.
I had a lot of problems with Chinese phones and compass, please check it too. I believe the GPS will be OK. And usually the rest used to be good at Zopo except of SW.

I had purchased in order to pre Zopo Italy, last month.
For now I have installed a firmware upgrade (OTA)
Imported address book, and various data from the old device, installed apps that I use often with my tablet.
It is used today, without noticing any particular problem.
It has good overall speed, and a good camera.
Obviously for me it was a big jump, because I just left an old Nokia C6.
Thanks to karl, we already have a working Meizu Flyme OS for Speed 7/ Speed 7 Plus

Device: Teclast X98 3G
CPU: Intel Atom Bay-Trail Z3735D (64x)
RAM: 2GB
Storage: 32GB
OS: Windows 10 Pro (32-bit)
Mode boot: EFI, version "Teclast BIOS11.09.2014"
I can install Remix OS 64-bit using Android-x86 Installer UEFI Version. I'm also able to install Android x86 5.1-rc1 64-bit, 4.4-r2 (efi) and 4.4-r3 (efi). However when Remix OS or Android x86 boots up it will immediately shut down because battery or power supply is NOT detected. Android shows only 0% battery and force to turn off the tablet. It doesn't matter if tablet is connected to usb charger or not. I can't use the tablet at all on Android because tablet will shut down immediately.
I have found that someone made partly working Android x86 4.4.4 build for Teclast X98 3G. You can find the thead from Teclast forum. However the download links are dead. I can only download data.7z file which has "data.img". Here is all information that I have found from the build:
3.18.2+
[email protected] #21
Wed Jan 21 11:33:17 CET 2015
OpenGL driver version
GL Vendor: Intel Open Source Technology Center
GL Renderer: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Bay Trail x86

android_x86-userdebug 4.4.4 KTU84Q eng-carbon.20150114.164528 test-keys
I have also found another Android x86 4.4.4 build which is named "x98 3g android-x86.img". It has some kind of hack build inside which tries to solve the shut down problem. However that build also shut down on my tablet. Here is the error information shown when I boot that build:
Code:
[ 0.114047] ..MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected
[ 0.341761] pnp 00:03: can't evaluate _CRS: 1

Detecting Android-x86.... found at /dev/mmcblk0p4
I know that it is possible to boot Android x86 on Teclast X98 3G without force shutdown since people have reported which parts are working (Check out the pictures). Currently the situation is this:
At present work are:
the touch can be used, each with its own evaluation of the effect;
WIFI normal use, if there Shuisi and other unknown;
the graphics card to work, 3D acceleration not tested;
card reader;
Unable to work are:
Battery;
USB power supply;
GPS;
Bluetooth;

I found that probably the same guy who made that "partly working build" post some messages on Google Group Android x86 forum:
Is it possible to close the function "force shutdown when can't detect battery" in Android x86
"This release can boot by Bay trail tablet Z3735D, while force halt after 1 minutes because it cannot detect the battery BQ2744..."
Drivers need to merge to android x86 kernel mainland.
Teclast X98 3G, at present android x86 kitkat status as:
____Works: graphics internal emmc,sd card reader, volume/power buttons, sound, power off/reboot wifi (rtl8723bs),
____Doesn't works: adjust brightness, suspend, battery, rear camera, front camera, accelerometer (for auto screen orientation), touchscreen, bluetooth
How could I make my Teclast X98 3G not to shutdown? This issue is same for Onda V975w but someone fixed that on 4pda also (link):
Launched for tablet Onda V975w v2 new build-x86 5.1 android RC1. Android-x86-5.1-rc1.iso - wouldn't start, infinitely blinking cursor. For Android-x86_64-5.1-RC1.in the IMG to start, everything is bright, beautiful, but the root was not working, even in the terminal ALT + F1 (it says something about incompatibility between 32 and 64 bits). If You do not see the battery and shuts off during boot. Accelerometer horizontal orientation. Touch, wifi, sound is present. No Bluetooth. The volume buttons do not work, the button works.
In General, looks more attractive than 4.4.

That Russian guy might have posted fix for battery indicator (and bluetooth):
On my Onda V975i V2 not work bluetooth and battery indicator.
Could you add them to the kernel?
Patch battery - https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83941#c29
Bluetooth driver - https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8723bs_bt
And a small request. Please, turn 90 degrees to the accelerometer.

I found a conversation from 4pda where they solved the problem on Onda v975. However I can't understand everything because it is written in Russia. Can anyone help me? The link is HERE. The conversation is between pages 150 - 152.
I understand that I need to make a FAT32 partition (at least 4Gb) which I have already. Then I need to use one of these builds:
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0BwLKAtSVab_qYmtpZ19kMUJ1aGs&export=download (Source)

https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&confirm=cqGb&id=0B73McXwkxx69blZXY3p2cnlRQUk (Source)
However they are in ".rar" file, not ".img". How to install from ".rar"?
EDIT: Managed to install Android x86 4.4.4 (android-x86-kitkat-rtl8723bs-kernel_3.18.2 (333M)) without force shutdown. Here is what I did:
I made a FAT32 partition (8Gb) to main drive
Then I installed Android x86 5.1-rc1 64-bit to FAT32 partition using Android-x86 Installer UEFI Version
After installation I copied "kernel", "initrd", "ramdisk" and "system.sfs" from "android-x86-kitkat-rtl8723bs-kernel_3.18.2" folder to "AndroidOS" folder.
How could I use that build to install Remix OS or Android x86 5.1-rc1?
Here is a working Android 4.4.4 build for Teclast X98 3G (HKC1) and Onda V975: android_x86_4.4_r3_Onda_V975i_V2 (284.7MB)
Working: Touch, WiFi, sounds, sd-card, battery level indicator, power and home buttons, video acceleration, brightness control, accelerometer (but it is upside down)
Not working: 3G, bluetooth, cameras, volume buttons
This build has GAPPS installed and NO force shutdown
Here is a short guide:
Make a FAT32 partition to your main drive (I made 8Gb)
Install Android x86 4.4-r3 EFI to FAT32 partition using Android-x86 Installer UEFI Version
With this method we get touch drivers from 4.4-r3 build and easier install process. (Previously method had laggy touch)
After installation copy and replace "kernel", "initrd", "ramdisk" and "system" from "android_x86_4.4_r3_Onda_V975i_V2" folder to "AndroidOS" folder. Then delete system.sfs from "AndroidOS" folder
Then reboot to Android like this:
How could I make Remix OS or Android 5.1-rc1 not to force shut down like this build here? Can anyone guide me?
Hi all im looking to root my t95 max+ android box. running android 9. So far i have tried kingroot to no avail. So was hoping someone could point me in the right direction thanks.
Would like to know this also if anyone here can help
Did you manage to root it at all.
As I would like to root mine too.
Thanks
I returned the box, so i never found out if you could.
There is a video on YT in Russian that helped me get my T95 Max Plus rooted.
Download the zipped file.
https://mega.nz/file/vQ9V1LrB#a_41LgGiMVPik3eO3HVVntxjuPqSD4RHnZVPxunBVig
Unzip and there is a TWRP zip that I used to boot into TWRP. Inside TWRP I installed the patched .img to the boot image. Reboot and install Magisk Manager and now you are rooted.
Link to the YT video.

На YT есть видео на русском языке, которое помогло мне укоренить мой T95 Max Plus.
Загрузите заархивированный файл.
https://mega.nz/file/vQ9V1LrB#a_41LgGiMVPik3eO3HVVntxjuPqSD4RHnZVPxunBVig

Someone was able to solve the problem of missing the image from the front panel (clock light blue) after root?

did you ever find out how to fix the missing clock?
FYI, if anyone is still interested I gave up on this method as nobody seemed to have a fix for the clock. So looked around and tried a few rom's most would not boot, but I had success with the T95Q Max X3 - 20201110 loaded perfectly on the T95 Max+ and then I used Kingoroot successfully. Changed the Launcher (hate those tv style ones) and added a Nav bar.
My box is not t95, it's a x96 max plus 4g/64g s905x3
Do you think i can use this method to root it ?
Is there a fix for this front panel ?
Thanks
The X96 Max plus is already rooted.

No, I tried a X96 img on the t95 and it did not work.
Ran across this for the clock, but haven't tried it..

If you flash TWRP through the update app it should fail and boot to the stock recovery and allow you to temp flash TWRP. It has to be on a flash drive though.
This will get you into TWRP. Then you can flash the patched .img file to boot.img. Then reboot and install magisk using the direct method.

S912 ATV9 VERSION FOR TX9PRO 2G / TX3 MINI S912. This is a s912 main configuration which is missing with 2G 8bit ram and emmc4.5 running with lower performance than standard s912 boxes, so can not run with the above Roms, I have built for s912 This is a separate version, pay attention because the performance is not high so if google play store is updating youtube, it will be out youtube while watching, please update or turn off the automatic update, generally works ok.

I installed it on my TX9S, 2GB RAM, 8 ROM. It is functioning normally. But there are 2 observations:
1) the LED light on the display, which was previously red when the BOX was off, is only blue (both on and off).
2) the mouse function of the controller does not work (I believe it is because AndroidTV has a different navigation).
The only bad thing about this firmware , you cant passthrough DD Thru HD and DTS HD in kodi.
In settings it doesnt have HDMI passthrough option ,only SPDIF.
In Kodi settings DTS HD and Dolby Thru HD options cant appear.

for the last step you will need a mouse to drag&drop
so, go to Settings (the Gear) and then go to Droid Settings then to More Settings, you will enter in "white settings" then go down here to the last option (He Thong) https://i.imgur.com/ygvRTQa.png
then to the second option here
https://i.imgur.com/43sCHJb.png
then click on first option in where is (Viet Nam)

add new language with +
then with mouse double click the second language and keep it pressed and drag it up

This rom works great for h96 pro plus 3g 32gb, I installed it recently, the only problem I'm having is when I use ethernet connecting to VPN ethernet disconnects from the box my Solution: (1)remove ethernet cable (2)connect VPN with wifi (3)plug ethernet cable back in (4)disconnect wifi and it works on ethernet with VPN.(or you can just use the box on wifi only)
Hi guys, I have installed on my old sunvell t95z plus 2 / 16gb 9377 and everything works perfect and fast, it really looks like another device. I want to tell you that you need to download and install the ota on the daiviet pda page for the BT to work properly. There is only one small problem with the t95z the front clock dont's work.
Does anyone know any patches for this? I've tried the ones listed in atvxperience for Nougat but logically they don't work.
Thanks

There is no patch for android 9, devs needs to integrate in kernel and rom, I don't think anyone is interested, there are already some patches available on GitHub
i managed to make it work on Pie, but it's buggy, sometimes it's turning off or it's showing some strange symbols
Ms8 pro lb
is the a way to make it work with a mecool ms8 pro lb ?
