Its whatever driver the rom is using ..Depends on what source code had been released thats why recently we got the mali 2 driver then v3...If you flash a v3 kernel with a v2 rom you most likely will get bootloop or blackscreen ..
Plus with dori kernel you can temporary lose root cos of googles wonderful (joke) se linux protection..Thats why you need to read and understand whats going on ..No tbeing funny with you but its all got a little complicated ..Dori only decided to implement the mali v3 around a week or so ago cos he is running slim rom ..and users like me wasnt able to use doris kernel anymore..If I can help you in anyway you can always pm me ...

You Can't Simply Install ROMS on Just By Seeing The SOC Only.. .. There Are So Many Custom ROMs for MT6582 You should See The Kernel & Stock ROM of That Particular Device .. For Example Iam On MT6592 Running 4.4.x As Stock ROM With 3.4.67 Kernel & A Device With Same Kernel & Stock ROM But its MT6582 in That Case it Can Be Cross Ported & Used .. But When , The SOC is The Same(6592),Stock ROM is the Same(4.4.x) But the Kernel is 3.10.54 ..You can't Do That Even When the SOC(6592) is the Same as You Said ..it Can't be Done .. You need to see the Other Things Too(Kernel Especially) ..

I don't really know how much the version matters. For example, I have never gotten a ROM built for the 2.6 kernel to run on my device which uses a 3.1 kernel version even though they both use the same SoC. However, I have gotten ROMs for kernel version 3.4 to run pretty fine on mine which is kernel version 3.1. Some will work and some will not. If you are going to try porting your own ROMs then its important to not be afraid of getting bricked...that happens. Porting is mostly trial and error until it works.

Yes by Soc he means processor. Stock refers to the ROM your phone came with. If you want marshmallow, find another mt6582 device that is similar to yours which has M and try porting using the guide I pointed you to some posts back. The kernel you would use in this case is the kernel from your stockrom. You would of course need to modify it's ramdisk to try and get M to boot. As I mentioned before, it is trial and error and when doing this you must not be afraid of a brick.

There are existing roms for your phone including CM12.1. See here. In you wanna diy then you'd need a tool to extract the ramdisk from the boot.img. I use Carliv Image Kitchen, it's available here on xda. You also need a tool like notepad++ to edit the files inside the ramdisk (init.rc and the rest). The idea is to compare the two and make changes to yours based on what's in the other (boot.img from the ROM you are porting) ramdisk. As I said, it's trial and error. If your device is really similar to another device as in they're basically identical twins then you can simply replace the boot.img with yours and modify build.prop to fit your device and you are good to go. But that's only if your devices are very very similar...like the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 they're basically the same device with some differences in their kernels hence you replace the boot.img in the ROM you are porting with one from your stock (modified accordingly of course).

Vulkan API won't be supported in Adreno 330 / Qcom 800/801 due to hardware limitations. Google's Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) will fail on devices with no Vulkan support. So there shouldn't be any official Nogut but Android N can run without Vulkan API nonetheless (like in Nexus 5). Future Android versions won't work without Vulkan.

If you guys need help, I can help in the compiling process. I do have a 32 core server lying around and I think it would help very much in the building process.
This is a kernel, based on androidlover5842's kernel, which is based on CM11 kernel, which is based on Android kernel, which is based on linux kernel.
This is the same androidlover5842's kernel, compiled with much newer GCC 7
- GCC 7.3.0 (armv7-eabihf--musl--bleeding-edge)
- GPU overclock disabled because it will drain your battery
- read ahead restricted because you have low ram
- disabled a lot of cpu governors and hotpluggers because you have low ram
- disabled a lot of USB drivers, ext2/3 drivers, media drivers, debuggers, tracers, PS2, Keyboard drivers, PCMCIA drivers, modem drivers, GPU drivers, because you have low ram
- added MY hotplugger that will really DISABLE cores (you have 4) to save battery whenever possible, screen being ON or OFF
Faster overall system, no tweaks needed, just install via your recovery on top of any CM11-based ROM!

Yes this device has a CM13 rom. For CM12.1 I Guess the dev. Only changed device tree! Used cm 13 kernel . Rest Not Sure!
I know our device is a 32-bit ARM with a 64-bit binder, but its processor is 64-bit. So there is this possibility of an ARM64 rom ?.

I also went EEEEEEE when i found this post lol, anyway I want to attempt to flash arm64 gsi on samsung a02s, since it also lists to use a 32 bit with 64 bit binder. So my question is, did you flash any lineage os 18.1 gsi arm 64 or is it a specific one?
Update: I flashed a 64 bit GSI from Andy Yan's personal builds, "lineage-18.1-20211214-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS.img" but the phone just went into a bootloop.
