My g2m overheats - LG G2 Mini

I don't know if anyone is having the same problem but when I'm playing a game(top eleven mostly) or something it gets way too hot in the camera area and even turns off for precaution...
I had this problem with CM so I went back to stock and it keeps heating up any solution?
5.0.2 stock, the battery is good!

Put an ice cube on it.
Just kidding.
If you charge it while using a heavy app, then it gets hot. Not much you can do.

Yes, it's normal. It's because it's so thin there's not much space for the heat to go.
You don't have to take out the battery, just close the applications and let it cool down
Edit: too late!!!
Heating is normal, hanging not normal at all. Angry Birds and browser shouldn't cause that. Can't say i used the other apps you mentioned, but my birds don't hang, they fly perfectly
Well it has been a long time and it has not hanged since then
hope it was a one time issue
i think its normal because its a dual core ?

new phone gets very hot

I have a new sgs2 and on the first day of using i noticed that it got very hot, is this a common thing and is there anything i can do to prevent it?
Was you using it while it was cahrging cus mine gets hot as well if i do that. Been fine since i got it months ago tho
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Charging makes it pretty hot.. Make sure it doesnt have a case as that will make the phone hotter.
Also kill unused apps once in a while as the more resources you use the hotter the phone will get especially when watching videos or playing games.

it got very hot while i was just surfing the net, won't watch movies or play games on it. It was too hot i counldnt hold it any longer, wasnt charging it either.
Might be faulty. Try taking the batt out and put it back in, if still the same take it back to the place you got it and replace

Thats a rogue app causing the high android sys.
+1, I've seen this on 2 handsets.
Using GSam Battery Monitor, then clicking on app usage ->android system -> manage -> clear defaults
The above seems to stop the issue after a reboot. I've not seen it happen again since I did that.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but 9hrs and 47% left doesn't seem like a problem... if you take your phone and leave it on (with screen off) and wait until it dies then charge and turn on you will see that the "system" eats almost all your battery. There is nothing wrong with your phone unless you used it a ton and the system still eats all your battery which If that is the case and it's been 9 hours and had 47% battery then I would think you were doing MUCH better than most, imho.

I've got the same problem. Only yesterday, mine was over 65%! My phones horrible on battery life. Some things definitely up
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
When I click manage it won't allow me to clear defaults...
And this began at around the 50% mark and as soon as it starts my battery starts dying way quicker
Do these screen shots help?
Sent from my SGH-I747M using xda app-developers app
any ideas? seems like xda needs to be manualy killed or it ends up using alot of resources in the bacground
I have seen the same on my phone, but it has not happened consistently enough for me to narrow down the possible cause...
Happened to me once so far. Charged my phone to full and went to work. I didn't use my phone for anything other than to check the time. I started noticing that the back of the phone was getting very hot, more so than when charging. I pulled my phone out and the battery was waaay down :
Hasn't happened since (fingers crossed).
Edit: I guess mine wasn't the Android system, but cell standby.

It seems ok for me. The most eating up my battery seems to be cell standby

The fix for the cell standby drain is easy, see here: http://techsplurge.com/10665/solution-samsung-galaxy-s3-cell-standby-battery-drain-problem/ As for the android system drain it seems to have resolved itself. I still get alot of kernel wakelocks from bam_dmux_wakelock though

Problem of overheat !!!! HELP...

I have the ROM Omega 9.1 and i Have the kernel Franco.kernel R11.
I have tried all the kernels, but My phone is ever hot.
When I don't use it (the night by example), the phone is at 30°C.
And when I use it , for internet browsing or to see a video, in 1 minute, it goes up to 40-43 °C !!!
It's horrible...
What can I DO?
HELP ME...
revert back to a stock Rom firstly and see if the problem persists.
Alternatively see if any app is hogging the cpu but you would have probably niticed crap battery.
A're you overclocking?

I have tried the ROM stock during weeks... and the problem is the same...
No I'm not overclocked...
this phone is horrible... it's so hot...
33.8c here with light use but its hot in the UK.
I'd expect 50c with some games which is definitely warm and I'd also expect that sort of temp if using whilst charging. Wouldn't worry unless your device starts getting above 55c to be honest. also depends a lot on the ambient temperature.
