Hey everyone, I am thinking about buying a used ATT SGSII. From what I have read this phone will work fine on Tmobile (except 3g/4g). Will there be any problems with reception or text/mms messaging or does this phone use all the same Tmobile bands? Finally, will I have any issues unlocking this phone for Tmobile without an ATT SIM?
Thanks

Hi. I have a Bell mobility Canadian S3. I am traveling to USA. I need data for using Google Navigation and internet there. Does anyone know if i can unlock my phone, buy a prepaid SIM card, and use the phone there? Is this phone compatible with t-mobile or at&t SIM cards?
ps--if it won't work, i also have an unlocked motorolla Atrix (1st gen), but the screen is fidgety and doesn't work well. Will prepaid sims work in the atrix?... then i can just use the atrix as a hotspot for the S3. Thanks in advance.
So i was wondering has anyone tried to use the galaxy s4 on straight talk? so it would use the CDMA towers. the reason i ask is because i have been using the s3 on straight talk via Verizon towers and straight talk actually sent me a Verizon compatible sim card and literly all i have to do is take the sim card out of my s3 and put it in another galaxy s3 and it automatically transferred my number and activated on its own. so i wonder if its possible to put the sim in a Verizon s4 and use it that way.... And yes it used 4g LTE
bump???
I am thinking on getting a S6 Edge. The best deal I am seeing is for a T-Mobile one. Is it possible to carrier unlock it and have it working on Straight Talk with an AT&T Sim? Thanks

I use my tmobile s6 on cricket and it works well. Are you going to use att straight talk or tmobile straight talk? If you use att straight talk, you'll need to unlock it. Honestly, the best option would be to get the f version from eBay. It's unlocked and you don't have to worry about bloat. If you get the tmobile one, you'll have to worry about unlocking it and unlocking the tmobile s6 is a hassle if you don't have an established tmobile account. And if you get a used one, people can be slick and report the device lost or stolen.
Thanks for the reply ... I am not sure what the f version is.
There are a lot on ebay that say bad ESN/imei, I am guessing those will be more difficult to work on Straight Talk with the AT&T Sim.

Search sm g925F on ebay and you'll see brand new one international model on ebay. They'll work with both att and tmobile
