We aren't getting a MM release from Sprint

I'm fed up with Sprint. This update isn't even listed on LG. This update F"ed up EVERY single one of my my apps. Calling out is extremely slow to connect. "Unfortunately Google Play has stopped". Google login errors etc. "WiFi and mobile data currently unavailable". "Unfortunately Quick Memo has stopped".
Had to hard reset and go through setting up all the apps and logins for an hour again. Now I have a serious battery drain causing me to charge my battery several times a day.
Someone share a link to revert back to LS990ZVC, PLEASE.

I updated yesterday and i need to root my device for gsm network use
Can anyone help

I personally didn't experience any of the issues they mention fixing, except for the "Improved device stability reduces continuous resets" which might refer to the bootlooping network problem so many have had.
Interesting ! Thanks for the info
Anyone know what effect this will have on the mainver issue?

We may not be able to accept it, as our main ver is newer than this 2.... Update..
A ROM wil be made based on it so all we are missing is the radio. I think I may be wrong.

not sure if they are actually incorporating a radio update in this package or just some re-programming/new code. either way, it's always possible to flash a radio seperately.
Per HTC customer support, this is pushing out today starting at 4pm eastern time. I called them because I am having friendstream issues where the widget does not update Facebook automatically. They said this update may help. Take it for what it is worth.
My firmware is downloading now...
Just updated...I don't notice any difference except the signal bars going from 4 bars to 5.
yeah, just got mine too..didn't prompt or ask to download, it just started automatically lol
it updates while I was at school and I didnt even know. does not seem any different and I lost my root. I do not know if it is still unlocked though

Me neither. I'll be excited with I get ICS OTA. Unless I succumb to the temptation to root between now and then.
I thought the voice quality with phone calls was poor.... tinny, strident sounding especially with high pitched voices. Haven't made a call since the update but that would be a welcome fix.
Sent from my Xoom
Auto-updates Verizon Video
I noticed it updated Verizon Video, an app which I didn't update because it was asking for more security rights.
Looks like Verizon Video can now retrieve a list of running applications. If I were the suspicious sort... I'd imagine they would then send these application lists home using the network communications.
I still can't uninstall the thing even tho I will never use it.

I also noticed a Verizon location agent that I never noticed before. if we get root on this version then we can freeze or unninstall Verizon video or any other bloat again.

[Q] Fix/disable this notifications?

I bought the s6E yesterday and as soon finished the initial setup and samsung apps started updating i started to get the security notification and i've already made like 3 or 4 restarts of the phone and i still get the notification of threat of an unauthorised system change.
And when i restart my phone i get another notification, it appears only when i turn on the phone. It says "The applications of this device consume data and apply a cost for navigation. We suggest you hire a data package. Details with your service operator", the problem is that i already have a data plan of 5gb.
How i can fix this thing?? the phone is perfect, only those 2 annoyance.
My phone is not rooted, i don't know if it's worth to root it and also, i don't want to void the warranty.
All my last android phones were rooted and with custom roms, i don't want to fall to the dark side of rooting and roms again... xD
Thanks

This might help you get rid of the first message. It seems you have to update some kind of security policy. Hopefully it works for you.
http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/334236-unauthorized-app.html
or
http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...-s4-security-notice-after-update-4-3-a-5.html
The second message must have something to do with data warnings. Take a look under the data usage option in settings to see if there are notification settings. I think this is based on the data settings for your carrier. At first glance though it looks like some kind of malware because the English is a little off but it is Samsung after all.

Thanks i already saw that post and it didn't worked last time, i just cleaned data of security update policy and the log and restarted, then went to the settings to update the policies and had no updates, dont know if im doing it right or not..
I'm not really in love with the idea of reseting my phone, and in some cases, after reseting the phone, this still happens.

Wifi Issues on SM-T820

Hey guys! So first of all I'm a newbie in the most recent technology, so if I said something that does not make any sense, please bear with me
Basically, I've updated my Galaxy Tab S3 a week ago to Android version 8.0.0/Samsung Experience version 9.0, and something VERY STRANGE happened.
So my Wifi connection set up, it says that I'm connected to my network but it has no internet. And here is the chicky part, I can actually browse online, download and update my apps even use FB app, BUT when I try to link and sign in on my OneDrive Cloud it says that I need internet connection.
I have no idea what is going on, so if anyone can please help me with this particular issue
PS- before the update i had no issues with internet connection with my tablet. By the way all my other devices are connected to the network with no issues.
Thanks in advance!
I have the same problem. I tried resetting many times and still doesn't work. I was hoping another firmware update would fix the problem, and yesterday I was happy to see a new update with google patch Oct. 2018. I was excited and updated the firmware, but still have internet problem. So I tried factory reset the Tab S3- bad decision! Now I can't even get pass the "Agree to the Terms and Conditions" section since it says I have no internet!

Show a Verizon Miracle Please

I just upgraded to a Verizon Note 9 (USA) with Android 8.1 having experienced the utter crap that is 9 Pie, I refuse to allow the updates.
In scouring the forums I have not found a way (without root or with locked boot) to prevent OTA Verizon updates permanently. Currently I am simply staying off wifi to prevent the updates from downloading.
Using a combination of system app permission changes and data saver settings I can prolong how long it takes to received the "update ready" message.
please, anyone have a genius idea how to avoid a OTA Pie update from Verizon with a locked $1000 phone? I miss kitkat....

Not sure but some people are reporting they can't connect to WiFi on the February update so it's possible there could also be a connectivity problem as well.
The Pixel 6 February update is breaking Wi-Fi for some (Updated: Fix coming)
Google has rolled out the February 2022 update for the Pixel 6 series, but some users are reporting broken Wi-Fi connectivity.

wifi seems to be fine but most of the time im outside so mobile data is my go to atm. it drop from 5g to lte and them to E/no connection at all
My Wi-fi is broken. I have opened separated thread to try to find a solution. I don't recommend installing February update for now!
stating my experience: i couldn't get the udpate to install OTA or via sideload, so i flashed the factory image using google's online method with no ill side effects (smart lock, 4G/5G, wifi all working)
Update available. In setting tick check for update to get it.
Seems to fix Wi-Fi issue OK
