[Q] DVB-T on Archos - it's possible?

Hello
Sorry, my English is bad.
I am seeking methods to run DVB-T on the Archos G9.
Currently I have two USB tuners:
- Pinnacle PCTV 72E - chip DiB7070 and DiB0700
- Greentek DVR-1 - chip: Afatech AF9035
If need be I can have a tuner on a chip ITE IT9135.
I was looking at various sites, forums. Unfortunately I have not found anything concrete.
Are there any drivers for Android to support DVB-T USB tuners?
I know there are tablets and media players based on Android, which are built-in DVB-T. From what I could find, these include ITE9135 chip. Is it possible to transfer the drivers and software from such a tablet to the Archos?
The second possibility about which I thought is a Ubuntu. I know that the x86 version of Ubuntu for the Linux kernel has built-in drivers, for example, to ITE9135.
Because there version of Ubuntu for ARM, which is going to run on the Archos G9. I wonder if this version also has built the same drivers?
I know little Linux, so I'm looking for a simple method to run DVB-T on the Archos.
Writing and compiling the code eliminated
Thank you very much for any help.
Greetings.

[Q] Linux running on onda v989 with framebuffer or native help

Hello!!
I have an onda tablet v989...hardware wise is a really powerfull machine. So what i wat to do is :
Install linux preferably Debian, but any distro is ok.
Native would be the best option so it can acces and use all the hardware.
Or via Linux deply using frambuffer.
I have installed debia in my oneplus one smartphone with linux deploy. And with vnc is rather slugish. Via XServer SDL it runs more smooth. But i have read that framebuffer is the fastest way in terms of performance. i have even read that framebuffer will get 3d acceleration and stuff. but i could be wrong.
Because i want to use this tablet as my working unit. But i need to have a working linx distro that runs well enough to do all my daily work on it.
I have spend 3 weeks to try to get it to work. and read a lot and so on on my own, but now i need help.
Has anyone sucessfully run linux in an onda tablet?
Any help about how to acomplish this will be really appreciatet.
I thinks this will help a lot of people that want to have a tablet and be able to tun linux and do their everyday work on it.
specially if you travel a lot.
thanks everyone in advance.
Hey,

possible 5.0 rom for S802?

openlinux.amlogic.com/Android/Mbox/5.0_ReleaseInfo
I wonder, does that really point to a 5.0 lollipop rom for S802?
As I'm totally unfamiliar with github, I hope someone can clarify how to use those. Do I really need a linux environment to work that out? Or could it also be done on a mac? Or a Android tab?

The new rom from Matricom does work on the S802 for sure! It was originally made as a 5.1.1 upgrade for the S802 in the g box q, but they use it in the new g box q2 also.
I have successfully flashed many different S812 rom's onto the G box Q which has the S802 inside.
I have been running 5.1.1 for several months with no issues in the functions or operation of the hardware with the exception of a few remote buttons being switched, but still functional.

Console AMlogic based computer (TV BOX) with stock android.

Hello there,
I am looking for a Android TV box with vanilla stock android. Are there any available and for sale? I tried searching everywhere but could not find any. The reason I am looking for one is, because I am looking for a development machine and deployment machine for apps. The machine will have to work with different hardware (USB) and I will have to recompile the kernel and need to modify HID drivers anytime.
Most distributions on AMlogic devices make use of custom kernels and some modifications are just plain bad and half done, not to mention the half rooted quirkiness on some devices with modified rom versions.
So is there an TV Box like device available with clean vanilla android out of the box? I really hope someone could help me with my search.
Thanks in advance and really appreciate this community.

Advice needed.. Best Amlogic Android box?

i'm looking at upgrading from my aging Madcatz Mojo, but I am having difficulty deciding.. i'm ready to pull the trigger on something on aliexpress, but i want something with aftermarket support, as well as something with access to a real recovery like CWM, or TWRP, and isn't fully dependent on some dodgy flash tool, developed in-house. I'm looking at Amlogic over Allwinner or Rockchip since they seem to have more open source support. Whichever chipset has the most stable linux distro is the one i'm interested in.
I am looking for a new box too. Never had one before
