Bricked problem HELP - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hi!
I have bricked my device trying to instal MIUI from CM13. It was bricked in 900e diagnostic (couldnt go to fastboot, recovery or edl).
I have made a homemade deepflash cable and managed to get it into EDL mode( now it is recognized on PC as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008), and I can see it in Mi flash tool.
The problem is that now I am getting a "Reached the end of file.(0x80070026: Recieving hello packet) error when I try to flash this ROM "kenzo_global_images_V7.2.3.0.LHOMIDA_20160129.0000.14_5.1_global_c85ba6c524"
I have tryed restarts, diffrent versions of Mi Flash.. and I always get the same error.
Can someone HELP please!?!?

Yes I selected fastboot script, flash programer, raw xml and raw patch file.

Just reinstall mi flash again this time try browse flash image and this time in advance option browse fastboot script then close mi flash then open it again browse for flash programmer close it open it again browse xml close again and for last time browser for xml and try to flash.may be this will solve your probl

Does anyone have the Hard Brick Fix Files (QFIL) For Le Max 2 x820?

I've noticed there is a Hard Brick Fix for the LeEco Le 1 Pro (x800) http://forum.xda-developers.com/leeco-le1-pro/how-to/leeco-le-1-pro-x800-hard-brick-fix-t3393161
Does anyone have the rescue files for the Le Max 2 x820?
I can't get into fastboot to flash and the only access to my phone is through QFIL via usb (qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008). I'm unable to find the files for this phone model online for QFIL to unbrick it.
It would be really appreciated if someone could help. (My model is the standard x820 32gb model)
Hi,
I dont have a dump, but if you research howto create one, I could make a nand dump from my phone.

I don't know if it can help you. But I thought I was stuck in qfl (blue LED) until I was able to go to fastboot by pressing vol - & power from the qfl. In fastboot I was only able to send data by sending the command from PC and connect after the phone.

Thanks, but unfortunately I can't get into fastboot to flash a normal firmware. I can only access it with the QFIL tools in its emergency / diagnostics mode.
hi guys..
any news for this device..? anyone has qfil fw..? Le Max 2 x820?
I havent found the qfil rom, but if you can get into fastboot mode, this one might be able to flash restore to factory defaults if things are corrupted, and cant install TWRP.
Try the rom at "blog.geekbuying.com/index.php/2016/06/06/letv-leeco-le-max-2-x820-android-6-0-qualcomm-snapdragon-820-smartphone-firmware-205095-160606/" it might help you.
It contains the necessary batch files to flash all the partitions, but I think my phone might be a lost cause.
I have same problem. i can't boot into fastboot mode when I press power and VOL - it's only show darkscreen with LED blue. How can i exit this mode.
hello, I will not turn my phone due to the same problem. I can only access the fastboot mode. How did you solve the problem?
I also have the same problem. Maybe some one may ask for chinese friends to help us? official le eco refuse to help us (US, India, Russia)
I got it But ...

I restored my Le Max2 with qfil files. After completion, wipe all in stock recovery. I think you should format the internal SD after that and your storage will show correct figures.

Here you can find the files for FlashOne https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8In_WJch-UvQ3RtOGstbXdqUWs for QFIL files https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8In_WJch-Uvb0xBbnBtbTlISDg
- To enter Qualcomm Recovery mode, turn off the phone. Keep pressed vol up and vol down and turn on the device by pushing the power button.
- Connect the phone by USB cable to the computer.
- You will see that the computer will install drivers for "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".
- Unzip FlashOne and enter "main.exe". You will see the flashtool and up you'll have "Flash Type". Here select "Qualcomm - flash dead phone".
- Select your phone - "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" from "Select device"
- Select File "LeMax2QFIL.zip"
- Check "Erase Userdata"
- Press "Flash" in the lower part of the window.
That's it. More info you will find in FlashOne, actually it's almost like I've described it here.
You will be reverted to a "dev" version of the phone, somewhere with April build date. Keep in mind that it's EUI 5.6 and the kernel is different than EUI 5.8. Update it to 017 or 019s with stock recovery and then install the custom recovery of your choice.
Most of the guys install a recovery for 5.6 on EUI 5.8 or vice versa and then they get the blue LED. That's why read the instructions below and make sure you know which one you're flashing.
I said I will make a guide on how to restore the Le Max2 but I had no time. I will do it soon just to make all the info centralized and to know what happened to the phone when you connect it to the computer and it shows only "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".
If you have any questions or you require more assistance, feel free to ask.

Redmi 8a Bricked

I have a Redmi 8a(olivelite). Yesterday I tried official TWRP of Redmi 8(olive) in my Redmi 8a. I did not flash the TWRP, I just booted into TWRP using this command "fastboot boot twrp.img". It worked and booted into twrp. Touch was working. MTP was working. So then I tried to flash Redmi 8(olive) rom in Redmi 8a using TWRP. it did not flash. wiped DATA, CACHE, DALVIK CACHE, SYSTEM. MTP stopped working and I could not copy files to Redmi 8a while in TWRP. So I then tried to reboot to bootloader but as soon as hit reboot bootloader in TWRP the phone went black and was not turning on. Phone was also not recognized by PC. I googled and found edl thing. I opened the back part of my phone and used pins to get to edl(also removed battery connector). Then I tried mi flash tool. phone was recognized as COM[NUMBER] device in flash tool. Did not work. shows cannot receive hello packet. Tried other methods found on the internet. like- changing port, usb 2.0, changing device(laptop, desktop), reboot after installing drivers. still could not receive hello packet. Then I tried Qfil and Miracle tool. Still no progress. Then I changed mi flash tool to MiFlash20181115.zip this one. It showed unauthorized to download.
Current Status of Phone-
Phone does not boot or power on, cant get to fastboot mode or recovery. Can boot to edl mode.
Device Model-
Redmi 8a(olivelite). 3gb indian variant.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hard bricked Mi A3

I accidentally bricked my phone after successfully flashing a miui rom in MiFlash. After flashing on MiFlash, my device stopped functioning. The only response I could get from it was in the miflash. I already tried flashing firmware I watched on y0utu;e i think it works but there's an error saying "you are not authorized to download!!" In the middle of flashing. I'm worrying that there is no hope for my device anymore.
Is possible to put the device on EDL MODE.
Hold volume up and down and when you hold them connect the device on pc.
If you listen a sound is recognized like edl mode.
After that flash by miflash tool a stock rom without aythorazation.
You can find this rom at telegram in mi a3 miui updates..
Good luck.

Thank you so much you guys! This restored my phone. Note for anyone that want to restore the Xiaomi Mi A3 phone, you also have to install the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 drivers. I uploaded a zip file of the drivers for anyone that want to download it.
After you restore the phone. You can use the miflash program to flash a fastboot stock rom. After you downloaded and extracted the fastboot stock rom, you have to the replace the original prog_firehose_ddr.elf file in the images folder with a modified one. I uploaded the zip file of the modified prog_firehose_ddr.elf file for anyone that want to download it.

If you get the error message 'cannot receive hello packet' while in EDL Mode. You have to power cycle the phone by holding the power button for about 15 seconds. After the phone is turned on, turn it off. Then go back to EDL mode by holding the volume up and down button and then connecting the phone to the computer.
I'm also uploading XiaoMi Mi Flash 20.3.14.0 for anyone that want to flash to the stock fastboot firmware.

you're welcome! i'm happy my hold posts can be usefull
my mi a3 got hard brick ( i had any thing working - no charging led - no vibration)
after searching a lot i did this :
1: https://c.mi.com/thread-3527044-1-1.html
2: when your phone is powered off and you want to enter EDL mode hold power and volume up and down after 15 sec plug cable to pc
then use QFIL
after that i got #fire hose fail# error in QFIL
So i found this solution:
3: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxDzvRnB7fY

Really good. It seems like a miracle that my PC detects my phone connected to a COM3 port. Anyway, it does not make a difference when holding the power button for the 'hello packet' message.
Anyway, an EDL wire is necessary to flash it.

Mi A3 hard bricked

My Mi A3 was hard bricked and unbricked it using Mi flash tool , again after a few months in got bricked , I unbricked it again but this time I guess I somehow locked the bootloader , Now my device is bricked again , it's not responding not even charging , I set it in edl mode and tried to flash rom using mi flash tool , but this time the mi flash tool is showing me error "write time out , device may be disconnected"
Have you googled the error message "write time out , device may be disconnected"? There are a few suggestions.

Yes mate , i tried everything searching on Google , can you please help me mate
I haven't experienced your problem. Could the message relate to the EDL connection? I found this link https://www.droidwin.com/unbrick-xiaomi-fix-device-stuck-in-edl-mode-via-qfil-tool/
So (i) when you used Mi Flash Tool did you use 'clean all' or 'clean all and lock'? - that might explain the locked bootloader. (ii) Did you check in Device Manager as per the link I have given? (iii) have you tried the patched firehose file method, as per https://www.droidwin.com/unbrick-mi-a3-fastboot-commands/ ?
Can't suggest anything else other than a repair shop where someone with more experience might be able to sort it.

Thanks mate for your assistance , i guess last time i flash the device i mistakenly use " clean all and lock"
The device is in edl mode as the port is recognised in the device manager and yes i tried the patched firehose , got the same error "write time out may be device was disconnected"
Okay, how about trying to get out of EDL mode? https://www.droidwin.com/how-to-exit-edl-mode-in-android/ Can you do that?
If you can get out of EDL mode then try flashing the STOCK ROM using the platform-tools, not Mi Flash Tool! https://www.thecustomdroid.com/xiao...2a11363abaea7ed177f9037d4693fae#comment-33230

Okay, if it is stuck in EDL mode the only think I can think of is to try using QFIL but you will need to search for the stock firmware for your device in 'Flat Build format' - see attached link and instructions https://www.droidwin.com/unbrick-xiaomi-fix-device-stuck-in-edl-mode-via-qfil-tool/
I have successfully unbricked a Wileyfox Swift 2 recently using the QFIL method.
I did try the qflash , it shows
download fail firehose fail fhloader fail process fail
Are you using QFIL from within QPST? https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-30141.html
Also download the Engineering ROM from here. It has the firehose file. https://mifirm.net/downloadfile/66
You're leaving it in edl too long. Hold down the power button for a full 30 seconds. Seriously, count. Now, hold vol up and down for the same. Attach the cable. Release volume buttons. Now, you are freshly in edl. It should work. If you go QFIL, you will need to do this in between each patch.
Check out this link on Sahara: https://www.droidwin.com/fix-sahara-fail-qsaharaserver-fail-process-fail-error-qfil-tool/
Also, you mind posting your patched programmer file? Been having trouble with that.

Question Redmi Note 10 (mojito) Hard bricked with MI Flash Tool

After installing some roms I decided to flash the stock rom using Mi flash tool, but the flash tool gave many errors, I tried many times to flash it, and then I decided to reboot the phone in fastboot mode to see if that solved something, but from that moment the phone did not turn on again, and it did not enter fastboot or recovery mode.
After a moment I connected the phone to the pc and saw that a device appeared "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".
Then I looked for solutions on the internet and when I tried some of those solutions, I realized that the flash tool sometimes when I clicked the "flash" button did nothing, when you clicked it again it showed errors, but if you clicked the "flash" button and then the "refresh" button the flashing progress appeared, so I thought that's why my redmi note 10 was hard bricked, because I closed many times the flash tool when it was flashing.
I thank you in advance for any help. Any idea how to fix it?

My friend tried to flash fastboot image using official android platform tools from google, build march 2022, it didn't work. Always failed when flashing the super partition. Fortunately, he decided to flash it with mi flash build 2020 (forgot which one), and it succeeded. I didn't believe it at first. Weird indeed. I believe xiaomi put something else to their fastboot binary in the mi flash.
