Beelink MiniMXIII Amlogic S905, multitasking not working - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

Hi at all, in my Beelink box there is no real multitasking, everytime I press HOME button or switch to another app the last app closes immediately, it happen to EVERY app. For example: I'm listening to music in Spotify, then I press HOME button and Spotify closes automatically. It happen for EVERY app.
Tried factory reset and flash latest firmware with full wipe...
Is there a way to fix it?
Thank you.

Can we hack Flash player to work in the background?

Hello all,
As maybe some know, Adobe's Flash player in Android has a feature. The object doesn't activate if it is not in focus (or maybe touched?). This seems to be a security or battery performance related improvement as Adobe puts it.. However, it is really annoying.. Because;
You can't listen to most of the radio stations, or playlists even, if you send them to background. I love to listen to some of my favorite music while reading the daily news.. As many other have pointed out in the following threads:
Thread ID: 854896, 672639, 543354, 489142
I am writing this question here, as this is an Android Flash player implementation issue and this behaviour is by design. There may be many ways to modify the Flash player, or modify the browser to make the Flash Player act as if it is in the foreground even if it is not..
So can anyone work on this? Or maybe we can submit some kind of CR to CyanogenMod issue list? Better yet, how can we submit this problem to Adobe's developers/designers?
Or maybe a hacker has already read this and has solved it already
Thanks a lot..
Maybe this works on other (Sense?) phones, but I know this worked on my 3.29 stock rooted Evo. In the browser you can hit menu > windows and then open a new window, and then close the new window. Now you will still be in the windows view, but are "hovering" above the window you have your Flash content in. Now you should be able to hit the home button and do other things.
I would suggest just using a real music player/radio app.....

x2... I think most, (if not all) standalone music/radio apps will run happily along in the background.

True, but most (if not all) standalone music/radio apps won't play arbitrary flash content online.
I know somebody who likes to listen to a particular TV program, and typically networks only make these available via flash. I'm sure if he works at it he can extract the audio on a computer or find it on a torrent or something, but it would be nice if this were at least an option.
Of course, compared to a normal app I imagine it would suck down a lot more power.
I've found a way to have a Flash webpage running on the background without needing to hack Flash Player on ICS. I stumbled across an unadvertised "feature" of the Dual Screen Browser app by Curry Cat v2.1.
All you have to do is launch the Dual Screen browser, do a google search for the flash web page you want, and once the audio starts playing just hit the OS Home button and the audio keeps playing in the background. It blew my mind.
The device I got this working on is a stock ASUS Transformer TF101 w/ ICS (v4.0.3)
Dual Screen Browser has a bunch of FC and seems to be heavily reliant on the stock browser some how. If you get FC when trying to launch it try the following:
Open stock Browser, press OS Home button, then relaunch Dual Screen Browser
Turn internet connection off, then relaunch Dual Screen Browser
Dual Screen Browser appears to be better optimized for flash/html5 video playback in portrait mode. I had two flash videos playing at the same time on each screen without much of a performance hit.
When in landscape mode pick the left most screen. It plays movies better without cutting off part of it.

Wow, I even forgot that I asked this question. But your solution seems very promising. Well, I'd still like to see HTML5 work in the background to (for the obvious reason that I want to play a youtube playlist while screen off ) Well if I'd have to install a separate app, I think there are other players that does this already.
Thanks anyways.. (Sorry for the late response)
I am using "nextvid" to play youtube videos on the backgroud, no need for hacking it does it by default( free app)

[Q] Get rid of the "menu lane"

Hi all!
I have got an archos 70, and i have installed the vitalplayer app to play the vids with it. but everytime when i play one video, that black lane (where is the home button, back button, search button etc.) is still on the right-side.
So my question is how can i get rid of that, or make it disappear while i'm watching the video?
Thank for the respond,
Kis-kun

Jelly Bean Audio Issue

ok i dont know if there is a fix and i had tried to find, but everytime i reboot i have have to open my audio play, whether it be google music or mog or any music player and then i have to kill it then reopen and music works. does anyone know of a fix for this to avoid in having to open and kill it on every reboot? thank u,
I cant be the only one with this prob. Come on
I cannot honestly say I have heard of anyone on JB that has such an extensive issue with Audio...
I have run JB since I got the device and besides some early issues that have already been resolved... it was still never as bad as your experiencing!
I can only say to try and go back stock 100%, then once you have go through samsung kies and do the emergency firmware restore/wipe thingy, then try going back to a freshly downloaded copy of the JB rom of your choice...
Sorry your having so many issues
It is actually only when i play music from the device not streaming. I flashed the same rom on a stock ics note and they have the same issuez.

That was really hard to read.
Are you saying that you have no sound upon booting, until you open a music file?
If so, what music effect apps do you have installed? Check in the sound panel, inside the settings app.
Do you have Volume+, MusicFX, or Volume Boost? Anything like that?
Sent from my Transformer Pad using XDA Premium HD app
when i open up google music, i click on a file and it just hangs, until i kill the app reopen then the file starts up normal, this happens everythine i reboot i have to do this after i do that its fine until i reboot again, also when i stream music it is just find its only when i play music on the device, this also does the same with MOG
Audio hang on i717 with Jelly bean
I have the same problem but not with every music app. Power amp works no problem but the apps I use for audio books Mort Audio Book Player or Smart Audio Books do not work unless i force close and then reopen. I have sometimes avoided the problem by opening a book in an alternate method so I suspect it may be something related to how the apps store the position in a track.
I also had problems with Map my run a run tracking app that can announce when you have run a certain distance. Map my run would capture audio focus and never release it. So my music would go silent until reboot. I am running CM10 stable but think I'll go back to CM9 becuase i use the audio book apps a lot and am too impastient and easily irritated to keep having to force close the apps. I have even had to battery pull on occasion but probably only because I was too impatient for the phone to come back online.

[Q] Tablet S Youtube,play store,mxplayer,music player...all bugs!

Hi, this is My first thread, I have been searching through the forum, But nobody seems to have the globality of My bugs...
I am running Android version 4.0.3 release 1A, i haven't Done the system upgrade because i tought condi's aio wouldn't work, however the tablet is still unrooted. Now i am experiencing, all of a sudden, different problems.: the audio system is gone, apps audio works, but the main, as the sound when you press the home button, is not working; i can launch YouTube, but the video stops on loading, every video, i have already tried to unistall upgradings and Force stop it ; as Soon as I launch a video on mx Player it automatically closes ; the video and audio player don't work, as Soon as I launch a song it automatically closes.
Could anyone please help me figure out what's happening? Should i root or upgrade, could it solve my problems??

hello,
I suggest you do a hard reset by tablet off: Hold Volume_UP key and press Power key, and keep in mind Volume_UP That Do not release the key until you see Sony's logo on screen.Reset to factory settings. then updates the Android release 5a (AiO work if you want to make the root). install adobe flash player 11.1.115.69 for Android ICS (search online).
Also sometimes the back, home, menu bar on the bottom of the screen disappears, wtf?!

Rocket Player stops playing (goes to strange Pause mode) after unlocking

Hi,
Rocket Player stops playing (goes to strange Pause mode) after unlocking the phone and opening another app (almost any app). Goes to a strange pause mode that I can't resume playing by just simply pressing play and have to close it and open it up again.
I contacted the dev and after sending a log, replied that it's the phone doing something to kill the app. I tried what I could find to let the app live like Battery Settings and other stuff I don't remember (been fighting this problem for months) since I updated the Android to 9.0.0 (Emui 9.0.0) on my Non-Pro Mate 10.
I'm hoping to find a even more hidden setting to let the app live as I think it's Emui's aggressiveness towards killing apps.
Thanks
