cmd gives me the error while unlocking boot loader (remote:signature verify fail)..plz help thanks in advance
Hello Everyone,
I would like to ask if there is another way to unlock my Zenfone 5(WW_A500CG) bootloader without using the asus bootloader unlocker apk file? Because my phone's in a bootloop and i am trying to flash the WW.2.21.40.44 Firmware and always get the "signature verification failed" error and whenever i run the command "adb devices" my phone's wont show up.
I installed kingroot on my phone instead of going over the procedures for rooting(****ty noob, i know)...and i didnt even check the unlock oem box...then suddenly my phone switched off and it went to a screen that says "AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)" at the top.
and below that i get these messages: "hab check failed for boot" "failed to verify hab image boot" "failed to validate boot image"
ERROR: failed to pass validation. backup to fastboot.
Fastboot reason: Fall-through from normal boot mode.
If i go to the recovery mode, it says no command and hangs there..so please can anyone help me out???
thank you in advance
Well what were you running hardware & software and did you unlock your bootloader?
Like what custom things have you done? Only what you said.. Kingroot?
I have been using SuperSU since mid-last year and it works great!
And do you know how to get into recovery mode etc?
You should start searching the forum for answers..
Hello there!
I was on Sultanxds Custom rom + kernel and decided to flash another Rom. Therefore i wanted to update my TWRP to Version 3.0.2.0.
So i went into fastboot, connected my phone to the pc as always an ran the comand: "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-onyx-20161116-113742.img". I got the message: "FAILED (remote: Device not unlocked cannot flash or erase)"
So i checked for oem unlock and this was the message i got.
"(bootloader) Device tampered: true
(bootloader) Device unlocked: false"
I just dont understand why the bootloader is locked... how is this even possible but anyways so i tried to just normaly reboot the device. But now i see the 1+ logo for 1 sec and it vibrates. And then it turns black again and I see the logo again and again...
But i'm still able to enter fastboot mode and i can send command from my PC. Can anyone tell what steps i have to do to make it bootable again? (is this a hardbrick?).
Thx in advice!
I just followed the hardbrick guide and i'm now on stock OS. For some reason the bootloader was locked again... problem solved and this thread can be closed...
Hello,
USB Debugging is on
Bootloader is unlocked
HiSuite is up to date
Correct ADB Drivers are installed
and my device is recognized in both "adb devices" and "fastboot devices"
The problem: I'm trying to flash a TWRP recovery, but I keep getting the error "Failed (remote: Command not allowed)".
I don't know what's wrong, and I don't see any other way how I'd be able to flash a custom recovery. I'm trying to get my phone rooted ASAP.
I also get the same error when I type "fastboot oem device-info" for example, it's so weird I get so frustrated by phones sometimes :silly:
Hope anyone can help me out
Oh and I own a Huawei Honor 7 (PLK-L01 aka plank)

Anyone who can help me out, please?
