Hi
I would like to know if an Android 4.x could work on S905X devices. Android 6.x is giving me lot of problem about security restriction and DHCP where an other android 4.x device is working with no problem.
In this target Any documentation about "how to" will be appreciated.
Thank in advance.

Hi all,
Been toying around with putting a full blown multitasking Android OS on my X8 which runs on an Amlogic S802 SOC.
I found Phoenix OS (http://www.phoenixos.com/) which supports some ARM devices as well as X86 devices.
My question is whether it will work on the X8 as it states on the Phoenix website that the only ARM devices currently supporting are the Nexus 7, 9 and 10.
Any help would be appreciated in terms of attempting to get this running without bricking the device.
TIA.
Ryan
Hello, I'm using Samsung Notebook 9 2017 laptop, which has Intel Wireless 8265 chipset. The Linux kernel on Remix OS(verson 4.4) doesn't support that chipset.
I've searched a lot, and found this page: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi?s[]=8265
I downloaded "iwlwifi-8265-ucode-22.361476.0.tgz" from that page, extracted it and pushed the "iwlwifi-8265-22.ucode" into /lib/firmware but it did not help.
So, the question is: How can I install that driver? I googled a lot but it seems that the most tips for normal Linux OS doesn't work for the Remix OS, because it is not a common Linux OS. Please somebody help me. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I am new to android development. How do I get the source code for my specific device SM-A300H and write a patch for it.I want to enable "in band ringtones" for my phone and found some source code here:
android-review.googlesource.com/#/c/333111/
So in an attempt to enable inband I flashed my galaxy a3 with lineage OS- android 7.1.2 (I can roll back to 5.0.2 ROM if needed). So how do I write patches on android and do custom builds. It appears that Lineage OS code if fully based on java and the stock android code I found in the above link has some .cc files. I have basic programming experience in windows (little linux as well). Someone please guide me, I want to learn this.
Hello!
I am looking for the Android 8.0.0 Oreo bluetooth driver to put it into 7.0. Is there any solution?
Thanks
Klaus
Did you have any luck? I'm looking for the same files, different purpose ... If you know where they are, please let me know.
Hello,
I have several friends with umidigi and other low end android phones. It's a shame that Umidigi does a horrible job at offering the latest version of android and security updates. Anyway I was wondering if there's a custom rom that would get me android 13? I understand it's a generic Unisoc based phone.
Any tutorial and direction would be greatly appreciated.
