[Q] How to recover from s storage mounting error

Ok I tried to flash "Mind Blown" kernel this yesterday morning and I haven't been able to mount internal or external storage ever since. I was running Axura 2.2.8.8 with the lag fix disabled and flashed Eugene's kernel and upon booting was stuck in a boot loop. I decided to try and run recovery mode but noticed that my sd card read no data. Upon an odin back to stock I realized that I could no longer mount internal nor external storgae and got the error in recovery mode I
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)
(Invalid argument)
E:Can't mount SDCARD:
Once my vibrant boots it says internal storage damaged and external says missing or invalid mount point. I flashed kernels, roms and virtually everything I possibly know how to do, and now I need the help of an absolute wiz. Guys i really need your help with this one, I'm totally lost.

Unable to Mount Internal Storage

Hello all,
I have run in to some issues with my phone today, and have spent several hours trying out different things, and reading through the forums.
My phone is unlocked, s-on, and have had no problem loading multiple different ROMs in the past. The most recent ROM I was using was Carbon 1.7. It had been working well for the most part, periodically the phone would restart itself, but I didn't really consider that an issue.
Today though, I was taking a photo with the phone, and it restarted itself. Upon the restart, it became stuck at the HTC boot logo. Once I got home I investigated it some more, and figured I'd try and just wipe the cache/dalvik, and this is where I came to realize I might be in a big mess than originally thought.
I'm not able to wipe the cache, dalvik, system, or anything. I try to flash a ROM, and it seems to work, and since i'm S-On, I try to load the boot image with Hasoon's All in One Kit, but still stuck at the boot logo. I try to do a full wipe from within the ROM when install, and also tried a full wipe with Super Wipe, but no luck.
This is what I'm seeing (I've tried using TWRP, CWM, EXT, and all come up with something similar):
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to mount '/system'
E: Unable to mount '/devlog'
E: Unable to mount '/emmc'
E: Unable to mount '/emmc'
E: Unable to mount internal storage
I've racked my brain as much as I possibly can. I consider myself a noob when it comes to most of this stuff still, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much
I recently sold my amaze to a coworker and over the weekend if started doing the same thing i spent all night trying to figure it out... I did a full wipe except sd and it wouldn't recognize the sd card. It was running cm10.1

S-Off your amaze. Then apply a stock RUU. I had to downgrade to GB to recover my phone. Android 4.1.x and 4.2.x roms tend to have this bug of partition corruption with our phones.
Fix internal storage error
If you wipe or factory reset it from the bootloader, it may kill the internal storage partition. Just connect USB, go into recovery, unmount and remount USB storage, it will recognize the internal storage and say its unformatted. Then format it as fat32. Then you can do a wipe and reimage. Thanks to OM4 from XDA for posting this. Worked for me!!

[Q] Lenovo K3 Note - Internal Storage 0MB

Hello,
First of all, my english isn't very good.
Ok, I have a huge problem with my lenovo k3 note, I was listening to music yesterday and suddenly it stopped. I tried to unlock, restart itp but nothing. Finally I took off the battery and they restarted the phone, it stopped on Lenovo bootloader, so again battery, restart and this time I went to TWRP recovery. I wanted to restore one of my backups, but there is no backups, internal storage is 0mb, I can't do factory reset, I can't install any zip, nothing. Windows 10 sees just external SD card, no intenal memory.
Entering TWRP makes errors in console like this:
E: Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer.
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to recreate /data/media folder.
Updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/protect_f'
E: Unable to mount '/protect_s'
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/data'
...done
E: Unable to mount storage.
E: Unable to mount /data/media during GUI startup.
and some more "unable to mount /data".
So I tried to flash original rom with sp flash tool, but on my last rom (MIUI 7 custom) I didn't enable USB debbuging. Every stable ROM or flash tool version I try, every time and the end there is BROM ERROR: S_CHCKSUM_ERROR (1041) and if I boot my phone after such flash it stops on bootloader and in TWRP still internal storage 0mb. I've tried do sth with adb but it doesn't detect my phone, flash tool works though.
I don't know what to do, please guys help me! It's my first android phone and rooting a phone and recovery was a challenge (just installing roms from twrp is very easy) and I really need your help, so please help me.
Thanks in advance and have a good day!
lenovo k3 error 1041
did you solved the problem with lenovo k3? i have the same problem

internal storage failed to mount Oneplus One

I have an old Oneplus one that I would like to get working to recover some data. The phone is stuck in a bootloop. This happened out of nowhere one day while charging. I was running CM 11. I can still access twrp(version 3.0.2-0) and i can enter fastboot. The various partitions are as follows Boot(16MB), System(733MB), Data(OMB). The 0 MB in data in odd. Also the storage doesnt mount. Whenever i try to format data it says, "Failed to mount '/data'(invalid argument), unable to recreate /data/media folder, unable to mount storage". If i try to repair or change the file system, it says the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Failed to mount data (please read)

Hello people,
I've got thr following problem:
When i try to flash a new rom, i can't because twrp is saying "failed to mount data (no such process or other error words...)
I've tried to do the "change to EXT4 back to EXT2" thingy but everytime when i try to get back to EXT2 i get the same error so i can't go back to EXT2 at all.
The only Thing i can do is install a custom ROM but then the apps are keep getting crashing
Try orange fox 10
Try format data?say yes.before say yes you must be backup rom or custom rom on micro sd.because all data internal phone is gone after format data.

If you switched to twrp from another recovery mode. You have to format data 1st.

Same problem only solution I found to be really useful is to use an external storage device like a micro SD card or an otg cause same thing keeps happening every time I try to do that so have a memory card out your zip file or img file onto it when you going to install go to select storage and go to micro SD and flash the rom that's the only method I found to be working with Vince
