Hi,
I am unable to install Viper4android on my KII Pro with stock ROM from 2016-12-19.
I tried versions 2.3.4.0, 2.4.0.1 and 2.5.0.5.
I have installed busybox and selinux change mode to set permissive.
But it never works...
Can you give me the right installation instruction if it works for you ?
Thank you in advance.
Hi!
I tried installing it on the stock rom and it didn't work.
I then downloaded Malaysk 5.0 custom ROM and Viper4android is pre-installed there, but doesn't work either.
I tried installing it via recovery and it didn't work also.
Has anyone had any success installing it on this or similar device?
Rooted, SELinux Permissive, Busybox installed, tried installing as system app.

hi there! Installed Xposed without any problems on the newest 14S Rom!
I did that because i hoped to find a way to get something like doubletap2wake through that but it seems like there is nothing you can do if the kernel itself doesnt support it from the getgo.
Do you guys know of any more ways to wake up the le max 2 apart from the power button and fingerprint sensor?
Thanks!

Use gravity screen and you can wake it by movement or gestures (wipe over proximity sensor). No more buttons for me...

I'm on stock s19 indian ROM. XPOSED worked only until i use SuperSU as root manager. I switched to Magisk and now i can't able to install systemless XPOSED. It stuck on booting screen. I tried this one with Magisk, got it installed properly, safetynet passed with patch, but none of the modules worked.
So what should i do to have working XPOSED?

Viper4arise4, viper4android, and others sound mods need system modfications. I tried to follow a few tutorial for systemless root but no luck because they need /su folder but i dont have it (because it was deleted to unroot custom rom).
Any help will be useful

Just use magisk manager, and download Vieper systemless from the app.

Hi. Thanks for your answer.
I flashed that viper but it didnt have an app to launch so i downloaded a common viper4android 2.5 and flashed it. It didnt work but i tried flashing a common Viper4arise and it works.
Everyone knows, or should know viper4android. It is the best possible sound mod. However it is not easy to install on stock rooted ROMs, due to SElinux.
There are lots of flashable zips to allow this. However, the latest bootloader, CQAV, seems to have an improved security and they're stopped working. The only one that allowed installation is this file, but it breaks the dialer and prevents phone calls. So, I took this zip file and customised it to use viper4android 2.3.4 (better version) while keeping G900f dialer functions and sound quality. It works on system and system-less rooted systems (recognizes automatically the correct installation to apply).
Procedure:
Flash file
Install best quality driver in viper4android
Reboot. If status abnormal, reboot again.
Enjoy!
Can it flash on MM g900h?
It should work, as not depending on the processor type. If it causes issues, simply reflashing the ROM will erase it. Or even better backup your system partition before flashing.
Will this work with S5 SMG900F using cr droid android 7.1.2
Not Sure

This Version of Viper worked god for me on my g900f on Marshmallow based Roms. (Like xXx No Limits 6.1 and RR-M)
I´ve flashed this Version of Viper for Android 7.x.x Roms and it works fine, after you flash this file via TWRP. I am on RR-N 5.8.4 now)
No Reboot necesary after instal the zip.Driver is already installed.
Greetz!

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have an other question:
How to set this mod to default after flashing? Do i need to set as default and where, or do i need to remove audio FX?

Dear Friends,
Viper4Android Fx doesn't work with any custom ROM.( Busy box installed ) & edited file to . bak. Still doesn't work. Any suggestion?
I suggest using ARISE Sound Systems, V4A from their package works like a charm. Only difficulty may be installation configuration, but you can use older versions with aroma installer.

Thanks for the suggestion. Long back i used Arise sound system in S7edge. Downloaded Arise dueteronomy aroma but it doesnt work with custom rom (shows drivers installed but no sound difference).Tried in fulmics& it works. Any idea in which custom rom it works without any problem?
Have you tried latest Magnum Opus then? Takes a bit to manually config installation file though.
Honestly I'm using custom stock ROM on my G5, mainly for LG's camera app. On the other devices I used AOSP roms like LineageOS and ARISE was working fine, but I don't have any experience with that on AOSP LG G5 roms, should work too I guess.

Just to be sure, have you configured installation file and placed it on your sdcard before flashing Magnum Opus?
One more thing that comes to mind; sometimes, when v4a wasn't working, common thing to do was deleting audio_effects.conf, not backing it up at and then reflashing v4a package.
Other than that I can't help you, sorry. Perhaps you should look in the rom thread if issue was mentioned or ask by yourself.
I had this problem myself and downloaded like a dozen different install packages of viper before one finally stuck and operated. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll find one that does the trick. Pretty sure the one that worked on my G5 was actually put together for the V20.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. Tried once today & it works like a charm with Crdroid 2.4. Have a nice day .

Well ... To install A.R.I.S.E you need proper working root and busybox as it is needed for Viper driver installation ... If both are working properly you will not be prompted to install driver otherwise you will see the driver installation prompt and following error ...
In FULMICS it works because of the in-built root and busybox ...
U can generally use A.R.I.S.E Deuteronomy 2.4 (download from androidfilehost). The installation is as minimal as possible .. only libraries and Viper4Arise without needing to configure anything yourself ... and it works like a charm in all properly rooted roms ...
If you use custom kernels (Asgard for Fulmics, and Speedy Kernel for LOS based roms) be sure to flash Magisk Root or SuperSU ... !!
Hope it helps !
