Little confused about Coolpad vs Coolpad2
Hi,
I am just going to purchase Spice Mi Coolpad 496 on HS18 site but was surprised to see their two listings for the almost same product:
Only difference is in the title and their support desk replied it as "different products"
1. Spice Quad Core Android Coolpad - Mi496: Rs. 5499
2. Spice Coolpad 2 Mi-496 Mobile phone - White Rs. 9429
I checked Spice official website, gsmarena, whole of the google but no where there are two similar products i.e. coolpad vs coolpad 2
Can any of you experienced members can suggest me if they are different models?

I will check their site, but coolpad is mi-515 while coolpad 2 is mi-496.

Goto the deviece manager and check if there is any driver missing
Also test it when the usb debugging mode is on
If you've installed all the drivers properly may be its an compatibility issue
In this case run the YGDP software as administrator

it will be very great if we get cynogenmod rom ,we are also looking for it,!
My Mi-496 phone stuck in boot bin screen. Normally this screen appears when volume up key + usb attached to computer for ROM flashing. But it appears when I want to ON my phone and want to go for CWM recovery.
I flashed CWM in this mode but YGDP tool fails. Kindly help me to overcome this problem.

My Nitro A311 suddenly stopped working and came into bootloop. I went into TWRP recovery and tried to factory reset, flash a custom ROM and restore a nandroid backup but none of them worked. Every time, it showed the error of unable to mount cache, data and system. The File Manager shows the size to be zero. I think even the partitions somehow got deleted.
I tried YGDP tool too. The process completed in just 2 minutes but the problem still persisted.

I chose the cpb file from this link and selected the configuration as 8297W. I think that it is correct. If the model was wrong, then the process wouldn't even have completed. Instead, the process completes successfully, but the phone still remains in bootloop.
I recently left my micromax a311 (3g) unused for a while, then when I recharged it I found that it's bricked, it only show logo and never open the system, and when I plug the charger it shows the battery sign but doesn't progress.
anyway I did hard reset from the recovery then downloaded stock rom Micromax_A311_V1_111114_(by_xdafirmware.com).zip from firmwarefile.com, but it show failed on writting the rom, here is the complete log:
