hello guys, i had a xiaomi mi max 6'44 that just broke and i want to change it.. s6 or s6 edge is more easy to break? i take care of my things, never belive that gonna happen.. and please tell me, can a tempered glass stay on a s6 edgE? i will go on store to put on, i am just asking to know if i must buy or not !
I can suggest you to buy S6, S6 Edge is more sensitive on dropping, is true that there are on market tempered glass with full surface that will stay on curved glass, but if you don't want a edge display I believe normal S6 will fit your needs

I just got a brand new S6 edge and I'm looking for a good tempered glass screen protector, every single one of them I tried simply wont stick... Any suggestions?
Well, I don't think any TGSP will work for Galaxy S7 this time because of exaggerated curved edge (see my images). I know it looks much better than galaxy edge, but the curvature has a certain affect on it. So I decide to try some TGSP and PET films before my Galaxy S7 arrives. Would let you know my reviews later.
i don't get you
does that mean you already have samsung S7

Nope, just a glass screen of S7. I've been waiting for the release date.
It sucks that the curve keeps getting more pronounced. It really serves no purpose aside from not allowing tempered glass protectors. I guess it's helping their repair center revenue. Lol

Agree!
So is the issue the protectors wont go to the full edge of the glass? Does anyone know of any PET or film based ones that have really good oleophobic coatings? One of the best things about a naked screen is less smudges and stuffs.
Looking for an S7 edge screen protector that has actually been verified to fit the edge correctly. Been looking all day with no luck. Amazon is full of junk reviews that are bogus

I bought a tempered glass screen protector. It arrived shattered so I got a free replacement. Based on my experience with them I would recommend you don't buy one. I used a regular screen protector for many months and it did not matter how hard I dropped it, the screen protector took all the damage. Then, the night I install a tempered glass screen protector, the phone falls 2 feet landing on carpet. The screen protector and screen both shatter. Don't know if it is just bad luck but learn from my story. Contrary to how they are advertised, they are not shatter proof.

None so far
I have been on my Note 4 for a while. I was waiting to get the Note 7 as I need a bigger screen. With all the Note 7 issues.... looks like it will be a long wait.
I am trying to decide if I should just jump to the 7 edge or wait.
I need a hard case that allows wireless recharge, and tempered glass. I have been reading every where and it looks like this may be what keeps me in my note 4.
I need a larger screen so the regular s7 is too small.
I don't use the stylus very much so that is not an issue.
I read big sticky thread and seems a tempered glass that covers the whole phone is VERY much expensive AND it appears I cant use a hard case.
Any help would be nice. What case works with a reasonably priced tempered glass that covers the whole screen. If I have to give up wireless charging I will.
Thanks.
I can only speak for the vanilla S7 (as this is an S7 forum) but I use the Nillkin hard textured case. I've literally tried about 20 before I settled on it. It allows fitment of the Ultimate Shield Tempered Glass screen protector (with about 1/2mm clearance) and also allows wireless charging. The case is also very minimal and discrete but gives good coverage and protection and adds superb grip in the hand. I won't be buying another case until the phone's sold.
