Hi my stepson has the S5 and itbis currently on cm 12. It is a little buggy. I want to update it. I wanted to update it to a stable cm13 but the official site is down as I'm sure you all know. They do have cm14 builds for the klte of lineage but there is no stable yet. So here's my question is the latest lineage stable enough to use as a daily driver? Or should I just find a stable cm13 build on here? Once I find a good build I know how to install and all that I just need a little help finding the right build.

Okay so while everyone is looking out for Cyanogenmod 9, I'm still wondering about CM7...
Simple question, if there is already a stable build, what are the purpose of the Nightly builds? In the link http://www.cyanogenmod.com/devices/samsung-galaxy-s2 you can select between, Stable, Experimental and Nightly builds. Why would one choose a Nightly build over the Stable build?
Because a nightly is the latest version of the rom. But it is likely to have more bugs then the stable.
For our device there is no CM build labeled as stable. But the nightly builds are stable for daily use.
Can you still follow me? It's just how the rom is labeled.

That's not entirely true, there is a build labeled "stable", here.
However, it's an old build, and you would be better off using a more recent build. I would go as far as recommending a kang build, because the latest nightly is also old. There will be no more nighties for CM7, because CM9 should arrive... in the near future.
The latest semi-official kang, built by codeworkx, is here.
I'm using Novek's build without problems (it contains more recent commits than codeworkx's), which you can download here.
You may think I'm an idiot asking that, but the latest nightly came out after the latest snapshot, I'm confused as to whether or not a snapshot is just a nightly that happened to be uploaded on the 1st the month, or whether there are actual tweaks made for better stability. Any help is appreciated.

I want install a custom rom on my girlfriend's galaxy s2, but I would be sure that the rom I choose hasn't camera/audio/3g/wifi bugs. I saw the paranoid rom with android 4.4 and cm rom 12.1 nightly but I'm undecided which one to choose. Can someone give me a suggestion? Also on other rom
If you want to run on a newer Android version, here's a link to a unofficial CyanogenMod ROM of Lysergic Acid. The newest build is Android 5.1.2 but I don't know if everything works. I am using an older build (03/31 EOL Build) which is Android 5.0.2. No major bugs at me, WiFi, Network, Bluetooth, Camera, Audio all working. Only noticed that device is getting very hot at hard usage and sometimes WiFi Hotspot doesn't work. Battery lifetime is ok. I don't recommend the official nightly version because as the name says it's full of bugs.

If you want to avoid any kind of little bugs here is a stable official version of CM:

Hope this helps.
Does anyone have the last build (or any other build which is one of the last ones) of CM12.1 for Moto E before CM13 came into being?
If yes, can you please share it?
TIA
I suggest you to use the snapshot build if you really want to use cm 12.1

Thanks a hell lot for finding these for me
And no, for me, MM ROMs are not stable. I face a hell lotta problems. I had been using DU for long and the bugs pissed me off (like no RIL after some reboots, need to pull out sim and put in back, chrome browser not working, only chromium works, etc etc).
moto e XT1200 how to root pls help
Guys I am on miui 9 but I want to swap to a custom rom. So which will be the best custom rom for the device (Indian Variant) till the date (Dec 17)? Testers and devs please reply. I hope this will be a useful for new users too on XDA.
There are tons of Roms to choose from...
Currently I'm on LineageOS 15 unofficial build by @abhishek987, this just Rocks.
About nougat Roms? Yeah, there are already bunch of Nougat Roms.
Bugs?
NOMMUCH, but the flash color is yellow (just an FYI)
I think Oreo is not ready just yet.. I am on RR and I enjoy it a lot! Alexey provides unofficial build frequently, and they have absolutely no problem. Everything is great, and if you need customization, it is the way to go. If you want a near stock experience go for LineageOS, 14.1 or 15, tor choice.
I would like a LineageOS based rom. Then What will be your suggestions on L14 Based stable rom? And I am recently following your Index of The device. Thanx in adv mate @sachin n
Yeah I am a Big fan of RR. Is the RR 5.8.5 stable? Cause i saw on the thread saying that It is Final but status is still Testing So If you can suggest me any stable nougat version of RR with link then that will be so much helpful and bugs in short if there any. Thnx you man in adv. @ToRt1sher
Ii has been incredibly stable for me. I think 0 crash/ random restart since day 1! I am on the unofficial build, which does not have a dedicated thread. But half the post on that thread refer to the unofficial one. The only bad thing is that there are 2 different builds, each with different LED notification driver. If it doesn't behave properly you will have to flash the other one, but that's like, a ten minute business.
Is this the Rom's link you are talking about?
https://sourceforge.net/projects/resurrectionremix/files/mido/
Please confirm if. If it is not then kindly share the link @ToRt1sher
@sachin n which kernel do you use with Linos 15 , stock or somthing else
Stock only
I recommand los 14.1 It's very stable, lightweight and you can root it without losing ota function...everything is fine!
This is the official. It is certainly very good, but outdated by 2 months. Alexey just made a final build a few days ago..
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329064493
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617949855
These are the 2 builds, with different LED drivers. Try them out, pick the one that works with your specific device.
Crdroid and resurrection remix
All the ROMS are crap here.... some form of bugs are present.. If you want to live with it, use them. If you are going to use BHIM for online transactions then rooted phones are not supported. Better to use official MIUI rom which has most of the features.
@viewedit Did you try magisk hide or root cloak (xposed) to use bhim? works on my slim rom?
