Hi guys,
I recently acquired a i9100T on the Telstra Australia network.
I upgraded the stock ROM to CM12.1.
Unfortunately I now have no mobile data connectivity, and the GPS doesn't work.
I believe I have to flash some modem file? or something?
Can someone please explain what I need to do, which file I need to flash to repair this problem? I have done a lot of reading but I am confused.

Hi @azlemad,
I've also got a i9100T, but I have an older baseband on it from the DVLSK firmware. I've never had an issue with this modem on custom roms or this firmware.
You could try this modem, I've uploaded it here, although I can't see why yours won't work.
If you continue to have problems you could try downgrading to the DVLSK firmware then installing CM12 again.....
What procedure did you use to install CM12.1?
Edit: you can flash the modem.bin file with odin....

Hi. A friend of mine bought an unlocked galaxy s2 and he's trying to update to 4.0.4 but Kies isn't showing any updates:

Is there any way to force it to update or to do a manual update? Is anyone else running this ROM?
thanks!
If you're dead-set on having Kies do it for you, then root and install SpoofFW to have your phone look like it's from a region that will get the update, then re-try Kies.
Or, you can flash whatever firmware you want via Odin.
If you don't want to root, or flash it yourself, then your options are significantly more limited. (you'll have to wait)
Thanks for your repply!
To root, should i go with a KJ1 kernel or a KI4?

KJ1. KI4 is your modem/baseband version (aka PHONE).

I think
you should try to reflash again your country firmware specially for your "i9100p" model
check firmware you are going to flash is for your i9100p model or not
This does not belong in the Development Section, I will ask you to read the Forum Rules on posting....
Hi, I have an i9100P on O2 upgraded to official stock 4.1.2 and I am having problems find an exact way to root, with the intention of then upgrading CWM Recovery to at least 6.0.4.3 so I can install Resurrection_Remix_KK_v5.1.1-20140507-i9100.zip KitKat ROM

As far as I can make out I can use Philz kernel (does anyone know the exact version for my phone, as I cannot post in his thread).
Can anyone confirm if these are all compatible with my phone.
Also, I thought I read somewhere that ROM Manager doesnt like this phone, is this true? If so, can I just upgrade to a Kitkat compatible CWM Recovery by flashing it in the recovery installed with Philz kernel?
I am basing my info on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/philz-cwm6-stock-kernel-cwm6-root-exfat-t1877270
And this article http://galaxys2root.com/galaxy-s2-roms/how-to-install-android-4-4-kitkat-rom-on-galaxy-s2-gt-i9100sgh-i777/
Thank you for any info you may have.
So I have the 850f, waited damn long for the update, still wasn't there for LUX
So I flashed lolipop with odin but I had to flash it with KitKat modem. Now my question how can I flash the lolipop modem?

The modem should be included in an odin flashable lollipop firmware downloaded from sammobile or similar. So if you flashed a complete firmware via odin, how can you flash it with kitkat modem? See the firmware contents

You can see that the modem.bin file is included and so should be flashed with the lollipop firmware. Or I didn't understand what you exactly did...
