I am using ubuntu 13.10.
What I have tried :
1. Reinstalling GCC and build-essentials
2. checked if i686-linux-gcc is present (it is)
3. resynced the repo many times
What I found :
mkbootimg.o is missing from the directory.

Pls temme what to do. I have tried a lot to fix this problem but in vain. There are no other threads mentioning the same problem also.
You have to be using a 64-bit system to compile android

prebuilts/tools/gcc-sdk/../../gcc/linux-x86/host/i686-linux-glibc2.7-4.6/bin/i686-linux-gcc: No such file or directory
This is the important line in that part. Are you sure that this folder/file exists?

Maybe the answers on this page can help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1442870&page=3
Also, make sure you installed all the packages. Both those required by AOSP as by CM

cat /proc/cpuinfo

Can one of you guys with this device post this information for me?
Opena shell and type
Code:
cat /proc/cpuinfo > /sdcard/verizon.txt
And, if possible
Code:
cat /proc/cmdline > /sdcard/verizon.txt
This is to help debug an issue for the Optimized CM12.1 AntaresOne builds for this device.
Thanks

Good luck! What are you trying to fix?
Edit: I will also add that I change selinux to permissive at boot. By default it is enforcing.

Help the DEVS #1

I'm here because I need help from cancro users to continue my work on OmniRom. Also this should help others devs too.
What I need you to do is :
Connect your phone to PC
Go to terminal
Exec this command : "adb shell cat /sys/devices/system/soc/soc0/raw_id"
Post the result of it and the exact model of your phone (MI3W/MI3C/MI4W/MI4C/MI4LTE/MI4LTE-CU...)
You should consider that if you are using an custom rom , you can't really see the exact model in "About phone"
That's it!
For example, mine is:
Code:
Result: 1972
Model: MI4LTE-CU
This will help me and other devs to determine what device you are using during boot. Thanks in advance
@rooque do you plan to port this? http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/97591/

My device is 64Gb Mi4 FDD-LTE "MI 4" in about phone setting.
We are doing progress ... but the more , the better!
Code:
1978
MI3W
same for me
Mi4W 16GB 1974
Code:

I think we can safely assume that all the devices sold in India under the name 'Xiaomi Mi3' from Flipkart were 1978 (Mi3W).

GT King Pro Eth mac lost

Hello,
I updated my Beelink GT King Pro and somehow lost the MAC address of the ethernet NIC, so the wired connection doesn't work now. Can you help me, please? I also tried another ROM from Aidan, Slimbox etc... with the same result. Thanks for any help and tips.
How to restore MAC and serial number using adb or Terminal:
Code:
su
echo "mac" > /sys/class/unifykeys/name
echo "AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA" > /sys/class/unifykeys/write
Replace AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA with what you have on the label.
