Hey guys! I had a few requests to publish my ADB fix script, so here it is!
Credit to XDA Member Xmaster24 for making the Windows batch script!

Right now there is no Windows version, but if anyone would like to port it, that would be fantastic! Thanks!

deodexed apps means themed apps.
i'm not sure if services.jar can be modified though. all thats in the archive is a manifest file, so it's looking like a no go on white text for notifications/clock.

Possibility to port some changes from Froyo to other versions of Android. And run Froyo apps on them.

I don't call that "untrusted"
The decompiler source was released this morning, I suspect cyanogen himself or one of his fellow devs built that and then deodexed froyo themselves.

If you don't know, what it is, then you probably don't need it.
hmmm, no classes.dex in services.jar. did google change something on framework or is this not in the way deodexed like in older custom roms?

There is services.odex file in the FRF50 dump, so there should be definitely a dex for it.
I succeed in hacking Market to run on Eclair, but server keeps returning 404 errors. If I would have 2 devices... :-/
Can someone mirror? Mediafire isn't working too well right now.
hmmm, how should we get without classes.dex in services.jar the .smali to edit for clock font color?
could someone upload a new compiled smali and backsmali binary from svn with froyo fix?

Imgdiff is part of android ota tools. Linux executable can be built by running make otatools in folder with android source code. Unfortunately windows executable can`t be build so easily. I managed to compile it - maybe someone need it too.

Root isn't needed to extract .apks of user apps.
Let's see if this works for you.

Just search for apk extractor on the Play Store. I used this one.
This will be a short guide. You will need some basically knowledge of editing in a sqlite editor.
Here is a link to a free one
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ksk.sqliteeditor
First navigate in the editor to
/data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases
Select
Cdmaapn.db
Select
carriers
Now edit where it says
LTE-SPCS INTERNET
And
eHRPD-SPCS INTERNET
All you need is to add to the end of the line "type"
,dun (no spaces)
Lastly add this to /system/etc/init.d
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9Z4etSDpNLqT2w2YmNQVXZPaUk/edit?usp=docslist_api
Set permissions
If you are on a stock rom chances are it doesn't have init.d support try using something like this app to add it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androguide.universal.init.d
Once complete you should update profile
Thanks for the short tutorial. You've made my day with the possibility of having tethering on all roms?. I'll attempt to implement this on Lee's ROM as soon as I have a minute to do a backup and flash it.

Its very easy if you just use this method >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/development/custom-rom-starter-template-honor-5x-t3328809
Be careful using the /cust directory it breaks compatibility with a lot of devices
