It's amazing, why not try it out and see. All you need to do is make a backup and flash, if you don't like it just restore the backup.

Hi guys,
Did anyone find out, how to raise the sound of speakers
in the Redmi Note 3 (with Snapdragon)?
I find it way to quiet and I barely hear the messenger or
calling sounds. :\
I am using the Nexus Experience ROM or NXROM (AOSP)
with Kate radio/modem.

The easy way maybe using custom kernel that have audio gain feature. Or install a sound mod like viper, dolby, or arise.

Try app from here:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/themes/themes-universal-dolby-atmos-t3421612
Thanks, guys, I installed the Dolby Atmos from the "Collective Atmos" thread and I will check out, if this helps.

Erm, really? I used Poweramp and Winamp to play
some music and turned off Dolby Atmos in between
and could not find ANY difference.
What do I have to do/setup in particular?
Also, the ring tones and notifications do not sound
louder to me, unfortunately.
I did something else then: I installed "Kernel Adiutor"
from the Play store and there I could raise the levels
of speaker and headset in sounds.
It is now a bit louder, but the quality is not great, I
think.
Install viper4android it will really help you...
I uninstalled Dolby Atmos and installed
Viper4Android now.
I will report later.
Hi everyone. I was exploring between ported stuff from Xperia X and I suddenly remembered I had flashed a ported sound mod from Xperia X which can be found here.
Now the thread is dead. We all now that the device was updated to android Nougat. It might also receive Android O.
The point is, Since there are a lot of universal modified Xperia X audio mod duplicates out there, can any audio professional port the latest Sony audio system fixed and tweaked for our devices?
Ok, I think you can help by asking people whom you know can do such stuff.
You might wanna take a look over this sound mod, it packs more than you could ever want : http://androidexpert35developer.altervista.org/xtrememusic-download/

His account is banned from xda for so many reasons. I wouldn't recommend to flash anything by androidexpert35.
You can use ARISE with core and Sony music suite module. It contains latest sound system from Xperia XZ.

I've tried it. It's rich but too many modifications. It breaks all of the other sound mods+ ported stuff from snap820! I mean, man I just want a clean one. This is too much.

It was banned due to the user community for pirating the premium apk and sharing it on the original thread. I've been using the mod for almost an year and i couldn't find anything better in the course.
We still hope someone can port the stuff for us

But it's different from what I need. I don't like Arise. not at all!
A ported soundsystem from a device of the same SoC is better than using a bloated Universal Sound mod.

Actually , android O with Agni Kernel's optimizations make the sound cleaner than ever before. Give it a shot

i don't wanna overclock but i want the best performance and battery life with everything working like the IR camera. any suggestion?
extreme kernel sounds good but all the overclocking! is it safe?
If you have to ask this question. Stick to stock kernel. You clearly don't understand.
