Debloat, Prevent Network Traffic, Optimize Battery / MIUI Global 8 Stable - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Some services are trying to "call home". I have blocked them with AFwall+, but I assume that repeated wakeups drain battery.
Has someone managed to mute following services (being blocked by firewall some of them try more than 5000 network connects in 9 hours) :
Updater
I don’t want to be informed about updates, and will flash manually.
Can not be disabled / frozen: TitaniumBackup freezes when trying to freeze Updater.
Receiving intents can not be prevented (e.g. BootCompletedReciever, DailyCheckReciever,..)
Themes
Don’t want to use/update/download MIUI Themes in background
If disabled (frozen) then can not change ringtones anymore.
Battery saver
No clue why there needs to be betwork traffic?
Find device
Have not configured a MI Account, don't use any MI cloud and don’t want to use MI’s find device function.
Can not be disabled / frozen: TitaniumBackup freezes when trying to freeze.
Uninstall (e.g. via Magisk) leads to a bootloop.
More Info
My Redmi Note 4x is rooted via Magisk.
To reduce wakelocks and network traffic I have "uninstalled" (systemlessly) with Magisk Modules "Terminal Debloater":
Code:
AnalyticsCore
XiaomiSimActivateService
I have frozen with TitanuimBackup
Code:
Cell Broadcast
Discover
Hangouts
Mi Account
Mi Cloud
Mi Cloud backup
Mi Picks 1.1
msa
Secure Spaces Agent
Setup Wizard
SpacesCore
SpacesManagement Service
SSCM
XIAOMI service framework

Safetynet does not pass.
I still use the latest stable Magisk Version v12.0 (Did I miss an Update?)
My concerns are about not necessary waste of resource (battery, RAM) and leakage of private data.
Maybe I have to switch to an alternative Rom, just I'm afraid that camera quality may get worse.

[Help / Question] Intermitent WiFi when the Google Account are Engaged

Hi i'been readed al post about the google accounts bugs in this site, but i'm not perfect; if my trouble already have a solution posted, forgive me, please tell where, and you can delete this.
To the work:
-The Device
I have a DooGee Kissme DG580 White (too many people says that the white units are the only with the issue) equiped w/ a MT6582 / MTK6852, and android Kit Kat 4.4.2 Kernel 3.4.67
-The Trouble
If i start the WiFi (After Re-Flashing my Stock Rom) they goes good without activate the Google Account, and can streaming (YouTube and Online Series)
But if i activate the google account to sync my e-mails or use the play store... the WiFi turns intermitent, specially in the streaming, for example if i add the account, or create a new account; and go to YouTube or wanna view a online series, i can see it near about 5 minutes after that the WiFi conection starts a Validation Loop, saved connection, validating ip, can´t connect; and again
Only enabling and then Disable the Flight Mode the WiFi connects again, but if i use something like YouTube, have 5 minutes more and i need to do this mode change again
-I've tried and don't fix my trouble
*Uninstall (w/ Titanium Backup Pro) the Google Play Services system apk, download it with web browser (the same version that i've uninstalled) and reinstall like the original
*Uninstall (w/ Titanium Backup Pro) the Google Play Services system apk, then install it from the play store
*Delete the Google Services Framework Data (from App Manager)
*Edit this line in the Build.prop "ril.telephony.mode=" (from 0 to 1)
*Setted the WCS line in the Build.prop to 0
*Reflashed the Gapps w/ CWM and TWRP in Pico and Nano packs
*Port MIUI V6 ROM and booted up fine but the trouble still happen
*Recently try to port CM 12.1 but i have the "status 7" error so the update script don´t have the "asserts" line and i'm using TWRP 2.8 (forgive me, this for other question)
*Check my WiFi confeguration and the sleep mode conection it's setted to always
*Deleted Google account (the problems still happens and i need reflash my stock ROM)
*Hard reset from stock and custom recovery
*E-Mailed to DooGee support team (they only suggest me a hard reset or re install the play services)
*Cross my Fingers and others
Please can you help me ?
Thanks in advance

Problem with Google services connection

Hi,
my phone is:
Redmi 3 Pro
Android 5.1.1 LMY47V
Miui Global stable 7.3.2.0.0 (LHPCNDD)
After two weeks of perfect usage, a problem with Google services connection appeared:
can't sync, can't enter gmail, Play Market, can't add new Google account, etc.
I've tried:
deleting Play Market's cache - no results
removing current Google account - no success, "doesn't permitted by administrator"
add new Google account - no success, since there's no connection to Google services.
reinstall Google services - no success, phone isn't rooted
back to factory defaults - worked for another two weeks, but then the problem reappeared.
Two weird things:
once in a while, in a couple of days, connection reestablishes for a minute and a sync is done
after a restart of the phone, connection to Google is good, but disappears after 2-3 minutes.
Is there any things I can try to do before flashing a new ROM?
I also have this problem, don't know what to do! Please help some one...if you fix this problem please share your guides.
Your are using a Shop Rom (Unofficial Room from the seller).
Better flash the official Global room from Xiaomi http://en.miui.com/download-298.html
Or the unofficial from xiaomi.eu https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424944320

Its official global rom by miui.
Your Version with 2 zero at the end show you have a Vendor room.
You can check here if you want https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/need-to-flash-7-3-2-0-0-lhpcndd-not-successful.33274/
Try installing Google play games, when it runs it will hopefully prompt to install or update Google play services as required. See if that helps

[MOD][Xposed][6.0] Exchange bypass for MarshMallow

This is a mod for the module written by diwulechao
I just do some simple modification to make it work on Marshmallow.
Still use the same algorithm as the original module
Tested on my Moto X2 on stock Android 6.0 with stock Email and Exchange app.
original post:
XDA post
Xposed repo
Bypass Exchange
Tips:
1. Please remove your exchange account first.
2. Please activate device admin for mail client in order to proceed, it won't affect anything if everything goes well.
3. Make sure your Xposed works on Marshmallow.
Hi,
I tried on my Xperia M4 with stock email app and android 6.0.1, but not working (still ask me to define a pin code and encrypt phone data).
The original mod for lollipop was working on the same device, with the same email app on android 5.0.1.
Thanks for your work.
mi4 marshmallow. Did not work

I see package name is miui mail app as 'com.android.email' and this is different n your code. Can you get that added? or I will create a pull request if it works for me.
S7 still requires PIN
I have a T-mobile S7 (SM-G930T)
Android 6.0.1
Rooted(Boot Eng Root)
Xposed Framework 8.5.1(Wanam Custom)
I did the following
No account on phone
No Email Device Administrator on phone
Installed framework
installed your module
installed Moon Phase so i knew Xposed was working
Rebooted to make sure both were active
Setup mail account
clicked ok to Device Administrator
It requires a PIN
Tried setting pin, then turning it off, but cannot turn it off
Any Ideas?
my mail client (outlook for android) when the module is enabled.
I was using this previously but to fix another problem I did a factory reset on my phone (Sony D5803 with MM SLiM 3.8) and when I re-enabled it, it is no longer working, at least with Gmail.
When adding an exchange account in Gmail, once I accept to add the administrative access, it kicks me to the PIN lock setting page and refuses to let me turn off PIN lock unless I deny administrator access.
I don't recall how it worked before when I set it up (probably immediately after it was released), but it was not like this.
BTW I did remove and reinstall the xposed module several times and of course did a reboot each time, following the process of delete the exchange account, add the xposed module and enable it, reboot, add the exchange account, get stuck on PIN lock, delete the exchange account, etc.
Is there a workaround for this? is this a known problem?
BTW it seems to work ok for Outlook, just not Gmail.

Quarantined apps, now locked out of phone

I recently updated MIUI and the battery life became appalling and I had to put it on charge early evening, even though I don't do much apart from browse twitter (with the Metal app) and check email for a few hours a day. So in an attempt to fix this I used App Quarantine to disable some things I thought I didn't need but although I thought it would be OK as long as I didn't quarantine any services, something I quarantined (maybe Mi Account) has resulted in my phone saying it's locked and I need to Activate it but when I try to by entering my Mi Account password it says "Couldn't sign in. RPC error".
Is there any way I can fix this, maybe via the terminal from Redwolf recovery? I'm probably going to flash a custom ROM anyway but I'd like to backup my apps and data with Titanium before doing that so I need to get it working again to do that.
If I download and flash this v10.2.1.0 Global ROM http://c.mi.com/uk/miuidownload/detail?device=1700309 in Redwolf will that fix it?
Panic over! I found this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/help/how-to-unfreeze-apps-recovery-twrp-cwm-t3406180 and renaming /data/system/users/0/package-restrictions.xml unquarantined most apps and fixed the problem. I'm not sure why a few are still quarantined but it's not causing any problems. Now I just need to try and sort out the battery life!

Question Applications lose their permissions when restarting the device (Redmi Note 10 mojito/sunny

Every night I turn off my phone, the next day I wake up, and turn it on, and some applications such as messages, or google photos, brave browser, ask me for permissions or define defaults, this only happens after restarting the device

I'm using xiaomi.eu 12.5.2
I have same problem,also xiaomi.eu
Its weird because it does not affect all aps, just some
In the settings for the "Info>Permissions" application in the system, there is an option to "remove permissions for inactive applications". The system will probably evaluate the application as inactive and remove the permissions.
Turn off this feature for the listed applications.
I cant find that settings anywhere
I'm on a custom ROM and can't verify if Miui supports it. But Android 11 has this feature and custom ROM also.
It's supposed to be where you set permissions for the application.
