I take no responsability if your phone crashes, burns, explodes, kills your daughter/son/pet/wife or starts a thermonuclear war, when using my ROM,I try to do my best to keep things safe, but one never knows
I don't have a flo,so I don't know how it works, but my testers said it works great and everything works(aside from some su bugs, which will be
fixed soon)
So,here it is
A really close to AOSP experience with Linaro,AOSP Openmaster,CodeAuroraForum[Qualcomm guys] optimizations
Built from Linaro KitKat sources, with their special ARM optimized toolchain,
With load of optimizations in a wide variety of projects(and more are to come)
Compiled with Google's Kernel for MSM(planning to switch to a custom kernel with more and more optimizations) to have a perfectly working build and very stable.
ROM comes without gapps(obviously),feel free to download the ones you like most.
Install instructions:
Reboot to recovery
Make a backup
Flash my rom
Flash gapps if you want
Reboot and enjoy
If rom gets stuck at boot(or crashes without a reason),
Do a factory reset
Reboot and enjoy
Download:
Beta 1.0
Nightlies:

For more infos go to linaro site
I plan to build builds almost daily(Only if there are relevant changes and if I have time to build)
I accept any feature request, both for rom and kernel(and I'm open to switch to any kernel you might want,as long as a majority requests it)
Source code
Source code which isn't 100% linaro will be on LinaroDroid github account
Kang at will and feel free to comment submit pull requests
I am currently seeking for contributors to the project, anyone is free to commit features and port this to any other device

Nightly #1 working perfectly with ART. No issues. Thanks.
Deb support
Any chance that Deb might get supported?
Deb is being tested right now, if it works, is it a good practice to create a thread in deb forum or add deb to this thread?

It is my opinion, but I realize others may disagree, that if Deb gets support, I would open a new thread in the LTE Development section as there is just a small handful of devs supporting Deb. I think you would be a welcome site there, plus it would help keep the thread clean from unnecessary questions about what it supports....:good:

Hi, I've started to use the ROM and it seems to get stuck in landscape or portrait mode. The only way I've been able to change it is opening an app that forces the orientation.

I do notice auto brightness seems a bit bright but I'm not sure if that's because I came from OmniRom where I had auto brightness values turned down for night time use.

Could be due to the difference in kernel,I'm using slim kernel with fastcharge enabled
Nice to See another open master Rom.
Love chads omp for mako and flo. Will test this tomorrow to compare them.
THX for the work.
Just flashed it. Everything is running fine. Very smooth. Art is running fine.
Now xposed and gravity have to do the Rest
Nice work so far.

EDIT: It seems it was a kernel issue using Franco. I switched to ElementalX and now everything works, orientation and apps. Sorry for the bother
A factory reset seems to have solved it, but then I flashed the second nightly and it happened again at the start. Here are both files right after flashing it. Also Gallery and Camera FC'd at startup and I haven't been able to open Camera. Hope it helps.

Thanks for putting all this effort in for the G7 ?
My phone device model is "G7-L01", but I came across this thread via a thread on a Spanish forum (HTC mania - no I don't speak Spanish but I love cyanogenmod and there was no cyanogenmod on this device before - I have been lurking there for many months ). That version from there worked on my phone, but build on this thread says that my phone is not on the compatibility list.
I believe this phone is basically the same as g760 more or less (I am thinking and hardware just different model code in different regions), so is it just that the specific device code is not on the compatible list, or is this build just not/never compatible with my specific phone?
(phone is listed as just G7 in the about phone page but it's G7-L01 on the box, etc).

I think I know what the problem is, check it out tonight.
You can also try use recovery from http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/twrp-t3120744, but this recovery not support f2fs /data partition.

Thank you for your reply!
My data folder is in f2fs so I guess I am stuck on this recovery for the moment. The version of twrp I am on supports f2fs, but maybe I need to start doing a backup and changing recovery.
I am looking forward to a version of cyanogenmod that is compiled for this device rather than the very clever hacked version I have been using. Its been incredibly stable and made me like this device (best device in my budget to replace a failing Nexus 4) but obviously there are device specific components that could improve things even more. So fingers crossed! <3

hi Guys,
as some of u maybe know from the Samsung Galaxy S3 or OPO area i'm doing a "build-service" for non official boeffla kernel builds and as we recently also got a boeffla kernel
for the One Plus Two device (kudos to @Lord Boeffla!) i want to share with u my self made Linaro/Uber builds for that device in addition.
i'm gonna reduce redundancy and keep it shorter this time as about how this started and my primary intention can also be taken from the corresponding Samsung Thread
for people who asks themself: Linaro, Sabermod, Uber what? here some good info about it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...T_0eIg5nQ/edit (thx to @VIDITM14 for providing the link!) and finally more infos about Uber Toolchains : https://plus.google.com/+ChetKener/posts/YzMJEkzPQgp and here: https://plus.google.com/communities/...b-f8d6644217fd
so without further ado let's go:
First of all the obligatorily Disclaimer:
As also written in the title please note these builds are UNOFFICIAL, are NOT SUPPORTED in any way by Lord Boeffla or myself and might be EVEN UNSTABLE! So take them as they are! As always flash them at your own risk and make a backup before flashing! (yeah take this advice seriously!)
About bugs: Before you report ANY issues with the linaro/uber builds provided here (doesn't matter which one!) FIRST TRY the non-linaro/uber official builds from HERE to see if they will be gone then. if they wont, you can go on and report your problems in the official boeffla kernel thread! I hope you understand that we have to treat and keep these builds here completely separate from official ones as they have in no terms something to do with each other! Not respecting this will force me to stop building further linaro/uber builds of boeffla kernel.
About benchmarks and comparisons between toolchains:
It's common known that linaro (maybe also uber?) builds might give us higher benchmark rates and that seems great for some people (in fact it's pointless per se in my opinion)
so please if you really must, post them ONLY here and NOT in official boeffla kernel thread, thanks!
Now some more precise informations about what's going on here:
what i did:
the images are always build with original sources from official boeffla kernel OPO repositories from HERE
with some not worth to mention minor changes to be able to build it on my build environment with non stock toolchains.
all images are compiled from special branches from this forked Boeffla Kernel repository
with a self compiled Linaro Toolchain (source: https://github.com/zanezam/ct-ng_linaro) + recent versions of Uber Toolchain (Credits to Team Uber for the pre-configured/-build toolchains)
all images are build with changes from different branches in following repository:
https://github.com/zanezam/boeffla-kernel-oos-opx
Beside of some additional fixes from my side all changes are taken from repositories of @ak
so all credits to him, and thx again for the starting point!
before someone asks some last words about the used toolchain versions: i did a lot of testing before releasing these builds here
and the used Linaro / Uber versions are the maximum versions which can be used to make working builds with pure boeffla
kernel sources and without changing a lot of code in addition. So if u are able to biuld a kernel and still want to try higher versions i must state here that Linaro versions
above 4.9.1 and Uber verisions above 4.9.4 might produce a "messed up" image which at the end gives you a boot-looping or not booting device and that might even be dangerous, so be aware !!
if someone has a clue what exactly has to be done to use higher versions of the corresponding toolchains (with respecting the original kernel source of course) feel free to let us know,
it will be definitely appreciated!
what i will do:
build the source code with linaro/sabermod toolchain and (like Lord Boeffla usually does) provide a CWM image of recent boeffla kernel versions.
do a test for about 1 day with this builds and if they work without any big issues, add them here in the thread.
i will try to keep the linaro/uber toolchains as up-to-date as possible till the need of bigger code change will be reached.
not providing versions that are not released by Lord Boeffla yet.
not providing an image if it is not working - well of course not *g* but it will be marked as "canceled" then for info.
not change the source code to add/remove features or fix boeffla kernel related bugs.
not support the whole stuff here.
what i will maybe do (sooner or later):
provide ZZMoove Governor test builds if there are any new versions to test - more infos and discussions about ZZMoove Governor can be found HERE
maybe tune the build flags if some more linaro/sabermod/uber experienced dev comes up with "better" ones (feel free to post and let me know, toolchain specialists! *g*)

I'm a bit lost. This is Boeffla but with patches from the AK side of things or have I mistaken? Is there a features list
crashed at 95% of antutu test. dirty flashed over boeffla regular which was dirty flashed over bluspark.
geekbench score is very good 962/3049 -- almost 25% higher multicore score over regular boeffla
regular boeffla was 979/2499 in geekbench3 which is less than bluspark which was around 910/2700 approx (from memory)
Unoffical cm build hehe?
Antutu 70k almost
Welcome ZZ !!!!! Nice to see you here too
The main difference here is the toolchain used ?? Or any other optimization?

OK no panic u get help
yes this is boeffla kernel + optimized compiler flags originated by ak some time ago (they might be a bit different now as I had to change things) + compiled with recent toolchain versions of linaro and uber toolchain + needed toolchain related fixes to be able to build/use them . that's it basically. and btw as always with my builds they are 100% compatible to Boeffla app.

Hey Guys, for now i am keeping this very simple. I present you my SM Kernel with nothing but a start. I compiled this kernel just to get SELINUX permissive so that i can use different applications which don't work on enforced stock kernel. this is just a start. So there is nothing related overclocking or other things but let me assure you, with your suggestions and help, we will make this kernel worth our A Series.
For now, i compiled this kernel for A510FD and A710FD because i don't have other devices. But if you are interested in testing for your device, just PM me. I'll get to you.
UPDATE: Sold my A510FD. Need TESTERS
Stating the obvious, It counters your knox counter thus voiding your warranty and i am not responsible if you brick your device after flashing this. You must know the consequences of flashing the wrong files or screwing up your phone. i shall take no responsibility if your devices burst into flames or you get fired from your job because alarm didn't ring. This kernel is in development. there will be a lot of bugs which will be fixed by time. So be patient and help me out with your kind reports.
SUPPORTED DEVICES

A7 2016 - A710FD
TESTERS NEEDED

It is cooked from A510FD sources but if you want to test, download your device's firmware from Sammobile first and if you do test it, please let me know the results. Thank you
OK...
Let's go.....
It is done... works fine
The forum will not let me upload images, by having less than 10 Posts

Works also on my German A510F
Great work
Thread closed for not being GPL compliant.
You managed to update/upload a kernel but still no kernel source.
PM me when your source is uploaded and ready to be published.

Battery life is not effected by this Kernel yet. I am trying to integrate different things in it. But because i am a part time developer, i need more time to get things done as i am only one working on this Kernel and as for BLN support, i added this my to-Do list.
Good job!
Works fine on A510F.
Can You implement init.d support?
Code:
/*
*
* I not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this KERNEL
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
*/

Can we use it on CM/Mokee? They are based on the stock kernel, so shouldn't they work fine?

Can you input moltiwindows mod in this kernel?
Anroid 6 has moltiwindows mod but that is hide.
First handmade kernel is really great news!
I got one question to author, pls
Could it possible to implement or enable TTL target in IPTABLES (TTL fixation mod). It could be useful for foolin` up MobOps and use unlimited lowcost mobile plans for sharing internet with others
@deadman96385
I fixed loading of Wi-Fi module with this hack.
It's better if there is more cleaner way...
https://github.com/AndroPlus-org/an...b4#diff-1e0f958766bae7c6dcd60e895c0531c5R1141
and the next problem is fingerprint...
I enabled fpc1020 but it didn't work.
Sorry but what are the advantages over stock kernel? I would like to see mods allowing double tap to wake
Sent from my Le X820 using Tapatalk
Any improvement for the kernel? Waiting for news, like Wi-Fi working and double tap to wake thanks.
hi @deadman96385,
Just out of curiosity, any possibility you could help @cr3pt to fix latest kernel for CM14.1?
do you have original released kernel source
hey!!
if you have stock kernel source ,so please reply with its downloading link:cyclops::cyclops:
Heyyo, not sure why you want the stock kernel source code since it has been adapted to custom ROMs already... But this branch on GalaticStryder's GitHub shows the changes that LeEco made to CAF here
https://github.com/GalaticStryder/android_kernel_leeco_msm8996/tree/x2-opensource
There used to be a website by LeEco on opensource.le.com but that website is dead now...
