I have the RN4 international version, MIUI Global 8.2 (8.2.5.0) Stable
I have regular backups performed: settings/additional settings/backups and reset
I use Nova as launcher.
Problem:
When the backups are performed some shortcuts on the homescreen and even in folders disappear.
Any ideas?

I'm having a problem with my sense weather/clock widget, and thought that this would've been the best place to ask:
I'm located in Trondheim, Norway, but my widget only shows "Location: Norway", but earlier it showed "Location:Trondheim".
This happened after flashing FroydVillain about a month ago, and no matter what rom I flash now, it doesn't help...
Anyone know how to fix it?
Delete widget from your homescreen and put it again selecting your location. That's all.
Tried the following:
wiping and installing other roms (VillainRom, FroydVillain and Stock)
Removing and readding widget, choosing the location again...
No go on either...

Is there any way to backup custuom order of icons in menu and location of icons on home screens?
I'm using stock xperia M with root.
After updating my HTC One M8 with the newest ROM (Android Revolution HD) I have to face to some problems:
The swipe gesture to show the system buttons to exit applications in full-screen (immersive mode) was not working. Moreover, some apps like Seeder was crashing every time.
After two days of googling, flashing, trials and errors I have found the cause.
After flashing the new ROM I have restored all the apps with data using the Titanium Backup. Then I have restored the data of the system apps. And that was causing the problems.
If you restore the data of the system apps from an older system select only those you really need (SMS, contacts, etc.).
Every time I reboot my shortcuts are removed.
I like it to access battery settings
Ideas ?
I'm trying to setup a new unlock pattern but the phone still uses the old one for twrp and system startup. My old unlock pattern was a 4x4 grid, but i'm trying to install Xiaomi.eu which uses a 3x3 grid in the installation. I'm currently using LineageOS.

Delete all the lock files (there will be three or four) and then reboot and set your unlock pin/pattern afresh. Search XDA for the names of the lock files.
