Hi. I had the same problem yesterday. The only way I found to fix it was installing an official xiaomi rom from the fastboot mode.
I recommend you to wait for a better answer from someone better informed (i am such a noob), but at least you know that there is a way to fix your phone.
If you finally install it from the fastboot you will have to install twrp again.
Sorry for my english and good luck

Thx for answer
I found better solution.
Maybe help somebody.
1. Make twrp copy on USB drive via otg user data
2. Factory reset from twrp
3. Restore user data
P. S. I know that fastboot is cure for all, but I dislike this easy way

[Q] i need help!!!! my phone stock witn no OS and unavailable storage

Hi, i'm new to this forum and i need help to fix my phone. I tried to mod my phone and I end up brinking it (I think) and here is what I did:
1- Unlock my bootloader. Successfully
2-Flash TWRP recovery image. Successfully
3-Rooted with Android_Revolution_HD_Root_and_BusyBox. Successfully
4-Here is where everything started... I tried to flash a rom (Bulletproof-m7-3.2) and everything went wrong and please do not ask what because i do not know :crying:
now I do not have no OS and my internal storage is not working or missing or it being wipe off I do not know. I can access bootloader and TWRP recovery image but i can't install another rom because of the problem with the storage that do not let me copy files into it. Well hopefully somebody could help me with this and here is a picture from the bootloader.
Can you boot into your twrp recovery? You can always install the rom through side load. Some one correct me if I'm wrong with that because I'm not very experienced with that but I'll look around for a thread for it.
However I use a method I feel is very simple, but you just need a otg usb adapter. Put your custom rom zip on a flash drive and plug it in the otg before booting into recovery. Make sure you have the latest twrp too (2.6.0.0). The n you can install from external SD.
Again though, I think you can install from a side load method or adb.

ADB Sideload and ADB Push should both work with that recovery. I have issues with my Asus Windows 8 machine, even on the Ubuntu side, but the old faithful wife keeps a Gateway POS around with Windows 7 on it. I've used both commands successfully in Windows 7 every time.

Bulletproof-m7-3.2 = kernel, just to clarify.
Sounds like you have to sideload a rom on there

Deleted Internal Storage Accidently (HELP!)

Right, so i accidentally deleted my internal storage while updating to a new custom rom (format and install). I do not have any backups, unfortunately either. My phone is rooted and had bootloader unlocked prior to this issue.
What can i do to fix this?
-- Edit, i should have explained in more detail - This issue has made is so that i cant Read or Write to internal storage from MIUI file explorer. Unfortunately, reinstall stock os zip does not seem to have helped...

Download fastboot rom and flash it via PC
Or via TWRP copy *.zip with OS and flash

Thanks mate . Since i have TWRP already, will this do? http://en.miui.com/download-309.html
Should i download china or global?
You will not be able to recover your deleted data. End of story.
Yeah what's the problem? As you are in TWRP you can connect the phone to computer via USB. Transfer firmware, ROM and gapps and flash.
Data on internal will be gone. No possibility to recover. That's why there are warnings all over the place while wipe and format data ?

Issue has been resolved. Mods please close this thread.

You have to fix your brick Xiaomi first before you can try to recover your data because the recovery tool cannot scan a bricked phone. Suggest you flash a stock ROM download from MIUI official website.
After you can reboot into the normal Android system, see this page to recover your deleted data from Xiaomi Redmi Note4.

Bricked RN3 PRO - Locked bootloader and fastboot working fine

I know there are several threads about unbricking RN3 but I didn't find any article that could solve this problem, not even in other forums.
This started when apps were continuously force closing for no reason and I decided to flash a new official ROM (going on MIUI settings) but the problem persisted. So I did that via MI Flash and I had the same result.
As this force closing situation were being more and more frequent I flashed several times different official MIUI ROMS from EDL mode (developer and stable) and then, after one of this times, it just don't start the system anymore, its just keep bootlooping again and again.
I also tried another methods, like flashing updated fastboot ROMS but didn't work out.
Another thing, I've flashed TWRP once but it asked for a password so I couldn't access the files and flash a custom rom and my phone is locked (that xiaomi lock situation). But after that I've restored the original recovery (that appears an image of a unplugged/plugged phone to use with pc suite but it doen't recognize my device).
So, I don't really know what to do anymore.
I didn't even use this phone for a complete year and xiaomi lacks of support in my country and they wont help me, like they replied my by email.
Anyone could help me with this issue?
Thank you, by the way!
Try unlocking bootloader unofficially if can't do officially . Try edl mod

Actually, I tried to flash a file to do that, but didn't work out. Maybe it's the method that I've used.
Could you recommend anyone?

I've tried to install TWRP but it needs a password to decript data. So it appears 0mb on everything and shows an error to format, wipe or do anything.
Remember, my device is still locked by miui.

Internal storage missing

I just rooted my phone lenovo k4 note using golden twrp and flashed resurrection remix with open gapps. Unfortunately the gapps zip file was corrupted and I wasn't able to fix that.
So I booted my phone to the new os , took the new feeling but later realised the gapps are mandatory.
So I downloaded a new file and tried to go to twrp recovery mode. But I wasn't able to. I thought the bootloader must've locked itself up so I unlocked it again, flashed the twrp recovery IMG file with adb and booted my phone to recovery. But still twrp didn't start.
BUT THEN I SAW THAT I HAD NO INTERNAL STORAGE
Just the SD card
Later I was able to wipe the custom rom from twrp and I flashed the resurrection remix and gapps.
Still internal storage was missing. Can anybody help me please?

Try flashing the stock ROM, see if your storage reappears on your stock ROM.
Also, do you get any information about your internal storage in Settings>Storage on your current ROM?
I don't know if it will help, but in TWRP recovery, go in Advanced>Fix permission
I feel like the OS doesn't have permission to internal storage, in the best case it will fix your issue in the worst case it will do nothing
But safest and easiest way to fix those kinds of issues is to wipe every thing and flash official ROM

Settings>Storage just shows the is size that's is roughly around 7gb
It says 7.11gb used of 7.15gb.
It should have been 16gb
I usually have around 10 GB free internal storage

So I tried to go to twrp, but the same problem occurred.
It seems my phone is unable to go to recovery.
I did the one with power button and volume keys, and it tries to go to recovery but the ROM boots up.
I also used the is function of reboot to recovery but by this too the ROM boots up and not twrp

Ok first of all makes sure ADB is enabled in your settings just in case something goes wrong you will be able to fix it without swearing
Once ADB connect your phone to your PC and use CMD/terminal command to reboot your phone in bootloader
Then reflash TWRP using the CMD/terminal
Once it's done reboot your phone and try to go to the recovery
EDIT: I made some search
And I need you to provide me some more information
RR ROM you flashed, I need the Android version (Lollypop/5.x or Marshmallow/6.x.x or Nougat/7.x.x)
And please provide me the link to the TWRP recovery you used (if you found the TWRP recovery not on XDA, DM me the link instead, follow the rules.)
I might need the phone model/or code if applicable
(Ex: I have a Huawei Nexus 6P but codename is angler) you can see this in the bootloader
EDIT 2: seems like your issue already been answered heads on this thread

Thanks for the help but I found what was the concern (my problem is not fully solved)
The recovery was very stubborn to just start up.
So I used the official twrp app and flash booted through my phone.
Fortunately it worked.
I wiped everything including internal storage and the storage just showed up in my pc.
I flashed the ROM and Gapps again and the problem got solved.
There just one thing now, the internal storage is there when I go to Settings>Storage but cant access through File Explorer or pc.
The apps got downloaded to the internal storage only so its not much of a problem though.
I am having the same issue.

[urgent] encrypted my kenzo's internal storage

Okay ,so i was on miui9 and decided to flash miui10. I flashed it and restarted the phone, the boot up was talking too Long so I thought maybe the flash was not successful. And I rebooted into TWRP. But unfortunately it encrypted it. I got around it using default_password . But flash and wipes were not successful anymore. I couldn't Access internal storage too. I tried restarting and this time it said " encryption was interrupted, you can no longer access your data, format your phone to unlock... Etc"
Please tell me how i can backup or decrypt my phone's storage. Twrp , fastboot are still accessible. Please help I can't format the phone.

You have no other choice except going back to previous ROM. (connect to pc, mount usb storage allowes you to save your data like photos and stuff)

I can't do that. I tried that but didn't work.
Also I was thinking maybe fastboot flash can fix ,but instead it looked the BL and removed TWRP and didn't even solve the problem.
I tried using mi unlocker to unlock but it Said "this account can't unlock this device"

Forgot to mention: connect to pc while you are in recovery (trwp if possible). If you don't have this installed, search here in rn3 forum, for zcx twrp and flash this from fastboot mode.
