CTS fail with 19s official rom. Not root. - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

May I ask how to fix this?

up

Heyyo, is that with Indian 19s ROM? If so then it could be because your bootloader is unlocked or selinux might be set to permissive.
If those don't fix it? Your only choice could be to use Magisk Hide. If that won't fix it? You may need the Universal SafetyNet fix and if you check the Apps section of the Le Max 2 XDA you will find one built specifically for the Le Max 2

Selinux status is permissive by default , I changed it to enforcing and then tried but no luck . Tried to change enforcing 640 & policy 440 but then automatically selinux changes to permissive ?

[MAGISK][X720][X727] How to Pass Safetynet Check

I have long sought a way to pass the safetynet. Finally I found a solution. I found a project made for Xiaomi Mi5 and i have ported it on Leeco Le Pro3.
Original Project by @coronafire : https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5/how-to/mi-5-passing-safetynet-unlocked-t3557845
Actually i have made the mod only for Le Max 2 and Le Pro 3. I have tested only on Le Max 2, because i have no Leeco device in this moment and I someone have test it on Le Pro 3 with succes ( ZIP4). This mod will not work if you have xposed on your phone.
I have built a github project and if you want you can add more Leeco device.
Github Project: https://github.com/mauronofrio/magisk-leeco-safetynet-props/tree/master
What this mod do?
- This mod set some props and enable magisk hide (If you don't enable magisk hide your phone can't pass Safetynet check). This mod will survive future updates and in general it will survive if you don't make a wipe data.
How to install:
You need to have already installed magisk on your phone. You can find it on official thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Magisk direct link: http://tiny.cc/latestmagisk
Just download the zip and flash it in TWRP
DOWNLOAD
Safetynet Pass for Le Pro 3 (Zip 4) MEGA
Safetynet Pass for Le Pro 3 (Zip 4) AFH
If you test it please comment and/or give me a feedback
Sorry for a dumb question, but I assume you need to install magisk first?

Yes, i forget to write it
I'm on AICP, which have default Magisk. Downloaded lastest version from Play Store. On settings of Magisk I have "Magisk Hide", which make "SafetyNet Correct".

Mm rom AOKP vs Mokee

As title above which one you guys think is better to use? I'm currently using AOKP mm (not latest build because I don't like viper) and noticed a few bugs. Sometimes I need to reboot twice my device as it stuck at starting apps... Cannot unroot my device tried with SuperSU app or unroot.zip (need to unroot to use banking apps and I don't like magisk) please tell me if I should try mokee mm or I should just stick to AOKP.. Thanks!
Heyyo, well since you don't like Viper I'd use Mokee MM historical build. Mokee MM doesn't get updates anymore but it is still very good
Don't like magisk? [emoji23] don't like or don't know to use?
Which rom are you in now?

I know how magisk works i
Magisk have a cool feature such as magisk hide. It can hide root from selected apps and pretend my device is unroot. I just didn't like magisk. I'm on AOKP mm.

Selinux to Permissive Permanently

hello XDA users
i have REDMI NOTE 4X with Unlocked bootloader and rooted Miui rom ( XIAOMI. EU ROM ),
i love this ROM it's very smooth and battery friendly,
but i just need one thing, i wanna install dolby atmos or viper4android, and i need my SELINUX to be set Permissive permanently
please i search a lot of threads but didn't find yet the best way to make it Permissive Permanently, please give me the best way to fix that thing !
thanks again

Well that doesn't seems the whole truth to me . :silly:
1)Anyways if u have magisk installed then flash the below zip and it will set selinux to permissive .
2)Also there is a terminal method to do that ,but it is not permanent so I m not writing it here .
3)Also there are ROMs like AICP that gives you the option to change selinux mode .
4) Also tere is an app available called as "selinux mode changer " which should also do the work (not tested by me tho )
5) Also u can use kernel aduitor to change mode
"0"= permissive
"1"= enforcing
U will find the selinux thing under TOOLS>build prop editor in kenrl aduitor .
Hope this is enough for now .thank you
thank you man, i did magisk method, unroot all supersu, and reroot using magisk

[FIX] Multi-Touch For Poco F1

Well there is no need to describe what this fix does.
Note there is already a multi-touch magisk module out there which is originally for pixel but this one is modified by me only for POCO F1.
*Note this works only in Custom ROMs. Yes It's not fixed in Custom ROMs by default.
Installation:
Flash the Magisk module via twrp and reboot.
Uninstalling:
Flash the uninmod Magisk zip in twrp.
Go to advanced->terminal and type "uninmod"
Select _// Multi touch fix for Poco
Reboot.
Status (flash and tell me)
Reserved for updates.
Does it work with miui.eu? Would love to try now. Thanks

This is a great initiative for the community.
Unfortunately can't test it cos still on beta 8.9.20.
And even after shifting to custom ROM won't know what to test it for as don't realise my touch screen has a problem.

A fix for a problem no one knows they have?
Reserved for updates
Another fix is to use a custom patched kernel (Franco Kernel for example).
