Decreased autonomy

I wonder why the battery falls in autonomy with some Rom ? I have Angels & Demons V4 and the first days everything is ok (5h - 6h) and now she has less it ( 3h- 4h) . I do exactly the same things , I have reinstalled the ROM by causing a factory reset but no change . Someone would have an answer?
Excuse me for my bad english.
Thank you

Same problem here mate.I am on v5 A&D.
First day I install the rom, caliberate battery, it gives me 6 hours SOT with moderate usage. Then from the second charge I start getting 3 -4 hours SOT with same usage. Dont understand what's happening.

just wanna clear my battery thoughts [help]

when Im in marshmallow (cm 13 based) will it drain my battery like a rocket? if yes what are apps that can minimize the draining of my battery? (all i know is greenify)
can you also recommend some android 5 and android 6 roms which i can use that is fast and stable and perfect for pokemon go especially?
ps.
im still on 4.4.4 kk dirty unicorns and its fast but some minor bugs and im thinking of flashing a new one any recommendations?
The officially cyanogen mod 13 doesnt drain your battery much. But low battery draining and fast is a opposite. I recommend the official cm13.

Rn3 SD rom help

Hi there, i've a rn3 (snapdragon, 3Gb ram) and I'm currently using MIUI but I'd like to try some new roms also to try fixing a WiFi signal issue. I need your help since I'm not very informed about them [emoji28]. I'm looking for a stable, quite frequently updated and quite customizable *rom with a good battery usage (now on miui I'm around 1.5-2 days of usage). Is it better to chose nuogat or Oreo based ones? Can you suggest me some roms and maybe also kernels to try?
Thanks in advantage

Frequent updates: Oreo roms (as nougat roms somehow don't get updated anymore)
Good Battery usage: Nougat roms (not sure about oreo roms. I'm getting 8h SOT on ABC oreo tho)
Stability: Nougat roms
Customization: Any rom will do I think. Yet Resurrection Remix, NOS and AEX are known to have good customization options (on both android versions)
Now make up your mind
Just go for Nitrogen OS 8.1 oreo. Best in Performance, Best in SOT. and awesome rom for Daily driver.

which build man?
Most, if not all Oreo ROMs drain battery when idle. Sure, they can make good SOT on intense day to day usage, but if you use one battery charge for 1.5 days or more, you probably won't find Oreo builds practical because of the bad standby battery usage.

In matter of this, they're fine. You can go with the one packed with the features you prefer. I've been satisfied with official Lineage. I also have the impression AOSP Extended 5.5 has good reputation and I'm going to try it right now.

Obeviously The latest build man 17/05/2018 OReo build.
I'm a Kenzo noob so I cannot give you much in the way of advice, although that said, Resurrection Remix and AOSPExtended are great on the customisation front, but LineageOS and Pixel Experience are the best bet in terms of just getting your phone up and running on a custom firmware front, with the latter having the advantage of not requiring a separate Google Apps package as it is built into the firmware.
I'm currently rocking the Pixel Experience Oreo firmware, and battery life averages around 8-10 hours on frequent YouTube/Spotify/Chrome/Opera use, which is better than the LG G4, another device I own as of the time of writing, which is neck-and-neck with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 in terms of performance.

Recommend rom

Good afternoon all the roms that I try to get me between 4 or 4 and a half hours of battery.
Could you recommend some oreo or pie rom that had a longer battery life?
Thanks[emoji3578][emoji3578]

Could someone also suggest the ROM + Kernel + battery screenshots... that'd be helpful.

Tried oreo and pie roms same sot and no benefits to going on pie or oreo so i back to Aex 7.1.2
Currently using MIUI 10 Oreo sGSI with Agni Kernel.
Screen time around 5:30 hours, no bugs affecting my experience at all (only screen flickering when changing screen brightness
Tried MIUIPro Mixmod right before this and had around 6h of screen on time, just changed to Oreo because I use the Google camera a lot.

What's the best setup for a battery centric user?

I don't mind if the performance goes down cause...let's be honest this thing hardly lags. I just need a strong as hell battery life from this device. I've tried going Pixel Experience CAF with Sphinx Kernel underclocked on OnDemand. I just don't feel that it's enough for me. I don't wanna change phones cause Poco is Poco and it's the best for the price. So recommend me or give me tips for the best battery settings for this device.
I'm on miui 10.3 (9.3.1) beta with Sphinx Kernel 2.5
Undercloked and all the battery saving stuff activated. Also with tasker (WLAN and 2g/3g/LTE) profiles.
I'm fine with it for the moment. I'll watch the next few days how it works with all tweaks.
after trying eu and miuipro roms.....the best battery performance is the "old" stock miui 9.6 oreo.....
OOS everything stock
i've been using LOS 16 + FrancoKernel recently and with a few tweaks was able to get about 12 hours SOT out of my poco f1
use the FK kernel manager app and apply the battery lab settings (25% cpu underclock - gpu underclock - battery saver profile) also disable one core from each cluster ... i didn't experience any lag at all with these settings and the battery life was excellent...
The best battery friendly setup is to turn the phone off.

The best battery I had was on the last oreo update which gave a consistent result of almost 12 hours of Screen On Time

Hi, can you point me to which specific version of MIUI are you talking? Would like to try that one out.
Thanks.
Official Nightly LineageOS Build, everything stock with limited customizations, install Sphinx Kernel for best battery saving kernel, underclocks CPU and GPU.
A clean LOS or pixel experience with snoozed GMS services, underclocked chips and blocking stupid wakelocks. Thats how i got 12hrs+ SOT.
Oh and everything is dark with substratum

What's the sense of dark themes on a LCD panel when it comes to battery life?

It's not lcd, it's ips-lcd. Ips stands for in plane switching (backlight) so, here you go.
But of course power consumption is higher than amoled with pure black (#000000) pixels.
