TMobile PDA Phone keeps restarting and wont charge

It was unlocked and working perfect until the battery went completely dead and wasnt charged back up for a week. After pluging in the charger I was unable to do a complete charge as the pda keeps starting up. It runs for about a minute or two then restarts and boots back up, the cycle continues with no end. I got to work for about 10 ten minutes, the phone worked, the charger was active in the battery option menu, but then it started all over again. I've reflashed and changed roms. The amber charge light does appear. Also hard reset doesnt work. Please help, bought the phone used but only got to enjoy it for a day.!
It maybe the battery is banjaxed, I have seen similar behaviour with an ipaq and a defunct battery.

[Q] Endless Reboot with custom ROMs

I've been able to flash custom ROMs onto my HD2 without problems for a long time.
However since recently when I flash a ROM (e.g. radio) it goes into a constant reboot mode:
- Does not turn on without power cable anymore
- When I plug in power, it vibrates and the white screen comes up
- After a few seconds it goes black then comes the white screen again
- Goes on forever...
I was able to get the it to run again by first doing Task29, then installing the latest original ROM (1.66.405.2). However, as soon as I install another ROM (e.g. RADIO_2.07.50.27_2) I get into the endless reboot again.
Update: After another try to get a different ROM onto the device, I'm not even able to flash anything working (endless reboot).
Please help!
bent battery pins.
Thanks a lot that actually seemed to be it.
I noticed a pin was bent when I finished my flashing crusade but I didn't connect it to the issues I noticed.
i have the same problem today, but no bent pin. I cant even charge it, when plug into charger it charges for 5 seconds then boots up to HTC logo white screen without any info for 10 sec then reboots itself forever, I cant even charge it at the moment because once it boots up it goes to HTC logo screen and reboots the whole time rendenring the battery unchargeable. I assume the battery is faulty eventhough the phone is brand new.
any ideas?

try this, it might work .
Remove battery for 10 minutes, plug in charger and wait 5 minutes, hold power for 10 seconds then release, insert battery normally, should charge fine now

[Q] Phone won't boot, can't enter download or recovery

A few days ago my phone got soaked through my pants as I was working in the rain. I came home, dried it out, etc. and tried to turn it on. Wouldn't turn on, so I started charging it. I eventually got it to turn on and it seemed to be working fine except for some reason it said the battery life was at 0 %. Note that it was still working normally otherwise.
I went into recovery, made a backup, and did a factory reset to see if that would fix the problem. It didn't, so I restored the backup. Now the phone won't turn on at all.
When plugged in, it shows the charging battery symbol, and if you hold power to turn the phone on it will sometimes begin to start, but it gets to the boot animation and simply stays there forever (I've left it at the boot animation for several hours to no effect). If I try to boot into recovery it simply does not work; it will either just restart the battery charging animation or boot normally (and then get stuck on the boot animation).
In a last ditch effort, I was going to try to flash a stock ROM from Heimdall. However, I plugged my phone in and tried to enter download mode and was greeted with the error: "LOW BATTERY!! CAN'T DOWNLOAD!!." This was after charging the phone all night. I then proceeded to charge the phone for another hour then try again, to the same error. And now here I am. It seems the problem is that my phone will charge, and the battery will be full but for some reason the phone doesn't recognize that the battery has a charge, so it just thinks it's at 0%. I've tried a different battery and was unsuccessful. Is there any way that I can either force my phone to enter download mode or somehow get it to recognize the charge on the battery? Or is there some other way I could resolve this? Or is my phone simply gone for good?
I am (was) running a rooted I777 with Slim Bean ROM ( I believe v8) 4.2.
Have you tried using a JIG it can be an option
If a JIG doesn't work you can try removing the battery, then plug the phone to the PC and go to download.
But for me the problem is with the battery. If after flashing the ROM you get the same results, don't think it and BUY A NEW BATTERY.
Good luck.

If I'm bad at English is because I'm from Argentina and I'm learning.
I has the same problema, I spend two days searching on the web, but i didnt have any idea.., ,y problem is. when we conect to ANY charger (car/wall/PC-USB..) appears on screen a batery logo, but the batery never charged..., I tried to enter to the CW but, the keys combination doesnt make anything on the phone, and without live on it, I cant access to CW..., I wait for 2 hrs, with these cell phone conected to charger to see if the it gone works...
ANYONE has another idea for how we resolve these issue? My phone has a stable version of CyanogenMod..
same with me but what i did was put a different battery in, let it charge for a bit then put the original one in and it only started charging after i used my car charger as i was driving to work so thats how i fixed mine.

Xperia Z2 Strange Problem

Hello!
My Xperia Z2 have been having a lot of problems in last 2 weeks. And 2 days ago my phone shut down it self and it is dead now.
Frist when my bootloader was locked and on stock rom I experienced battery life decrease and my phone was not able to get me through a full day but it's battery life was close to a day.
Then I decided to unlock my bootloader (I also backedup my TA before unlocking) and install CarbonROM which was fine for like 2-3 days and the battery life was better then the stock rom.
After 2-3 days my phone started to shut it self off at random moments and even say %0 battery when I had like %90 or %80 (just anything above %15)
I clean and dirty flashed the CarbonROM again and it didnt worked out so I thought it might the roms fault and I decided to install RR and it also worked fine for 1 day and then it did the same things which also happened with the CarbonROM
And I said earlier my phone just instanlty shut off at %82 battery life. After it died and I decided to put it on charge becuase I was having battery problems in last 2 weeks as I said and I thought maybe it can it fix the problem but when I pluged my phone to wall two things happened. Frist one is red charge light started blinking and the second one is Sony XPERIA logo kept blinking.
Then I tried my pc which did the same thing but when the red light go off and I pressed volume up button and my phone connected in fastboot mode then I flashed boot.img and recovery.img again and it didnt worked. Then I connected my pc again and I tried flashmode which didnt worked at frist 4-5 tries but after that my phone connected in flashmode I started to download stock kernel (.291) after while flashmode disconnected beucase I wasnt doing anything with it and I tried power button and phone booted up on RR with %82 battery life I was very glad that it worked but after 5 mins it shut it self off again and same thing again.... I managed to connect in flashmode one more time and I flashed stock .291 kernel and it was done I disconnected and powered on my phone and Sony XPERIA logo flashed for one second and the phone turned it self off.
So now I cant charge my phone beucase the red light blinks and xperia logo keeps flashing and I tried everything in Sony forums like the red button power+volume up thing bla bla. And nothing worked I will now try to leave it on charge for 2 hours and update this post but I think that it wont work.
So in conclusion I am %99 sure that battery is dead becuase when the phone boots it doesnt have any other problem expect than this battery and I am going to send it to a repair center or just but the battery it self (which costs less then 10 dollars so it is nothing too expensive) and I am sure that it isn't a software releated problem becuase if it was it would have been solved when I flashed stock kernel and rom. So what you guys think about my problem? Did anybody experienced similar problem to this or is it just me?
Note: When I press the red button while charging when the Xperia Logo keeps flashing my phone vibrates but nothing happens it just keeps blinking the red light and flashing the Xperia Logo.
Note2: My phone is like 3 years old becuase this phone was bought after 2-3 weeks after the release of the Xperia Z2.
Yep the battery is dead just get a new battery and all will be fine
I left device on charge like 2 hours and nothing changed but after I unpluged it I gently hit the device back side with my fingers and when I pressed the power button device bootted up with %86 battery LOL. Anyway I am gonna change the battery because I am now %100 sure that battery is the problem.
So my device is now kinda working, I said kinda because random restarts still happens when the phone restarts battery indicator changes and sometimes suddenly drops. So I need to get a new battery as soon as possible. But I don't know how it got fixed when I hit it's back side softly.
I have changed the battery and everything works fine thanks anyone who participated and paid attention

Battery won't charge

My phone discharged completely to 0% and now it won't charge at all. I don't think the battery is working, but I can't ge the phone to respond.
When I connect it to the charger, the low battery screen turns on, then the phone begins booting, but as soon as the SONY logo flashes the phone stops responding. No red light is shown indicating charging.
I've tried holding the yellow off button near the sim card but don't get a response. Just whenever I plug it out and back in the same screens repeat.
I installed Lineage OS a month and a half ago and wonder if that might be the cause - with my last Suzuran I had Lineage OS for 3 months before the battery died (three red lights).
If anyone knows what the problem could be I'd appreciate some advice. Thanks.
Hello,
Try removing the SD card and try charging it again. Also use a new good charging cable (had a lot of problems myself)
