is it the sidebar feature u r talking about???

I don't think any apps will provide dual screen. It's a feature integrated with Android 7. As every mobile phone gets version updates, there won't be any use in creating an app for this.

Hi! ..well I know I can use other mail appications (enhanced mail...etc)...but what is the reason that native mail application is not present in this custom rom?... It served me...well enough... How can I restore it?

Looking for best ROM

Hello everyone
Until yesterday, I was using Custom 4.4.2 ROM. Everything works fine. Notifications + LED, screen wake up for incoming messages, accessible toolbar from all applications.
But one thing was terrifying. Of course battery... I`m using my P780 for, I don`t know, few hours per day on WiFi/3G and Spotify or Internet Browser. And from 6AM to 6PM battery always drop to ~20%.
So yesterday I downloaded some ROMs. After some incidents I finally installed ROM by Warezz37 (4.4.3). But notifications, toolbar and ROM design not spurred me. I decise to install another CN.
I found Vredniiy mod v4.5 from 4pda and it`s something that I`m looking for. Battery is working good, toolbar is accessible, but notifications and their LED and screen wakening for messages don`t works fine. I really like this ROM for design and another things
Can you guys send me some ROMs (CN), that runs all of mine requirements? I need fast, light and nice-looking ROM, that runs smoothly notifications (and LED), screen wakening and accessible toolbar for all-screen applications. And of course - BATTERY must be good.
Sorry, if you cand understand me. I can explain everything second time. And thanks a lot for all replies!
PS.
My P780 is 4GB RAM, Chinase version, before 2014.

Try EMUI too!
Thanks for answers :]
First I decided to install Alice Project firts. And now, when I`m using 9.1.2 it`s just great :] LED is working, toolbar and other things too. But there`s one thing, that I really want to change. The smart-call answer from original Lenovo ROMs :/ I`ve got used to just put my phone to my ear, when somebody calling. And now I need to change my wont. It`s small, but disappointing thing.

Lineage OS 7.1 Cast to TV issue

Lineage OS has been a great custom ROM for users who wanna move away from MIUI. Although it has been overlooking the feature for casting or wireless display for a while now and I really use this feature alot so I have to keep using MIUI because of this. So please if this functionality could be added

You mean casting from miracast? That feature disabled since lollipop by google. They want you to use chromecast, although there's workaround for enable this feature again with build.prop edit but I forgot

The same problem for me. I have Xiaomi Redmi 3. With MIUI i've had perfect screen cast, but with Lineage OS 7.1 it's written "No devices found".
Is it necessery to install something in addition to the smartphone or TV?

any ROM with good battery backup and camera working?

Hi guys! Currently I am using AOKP ROM on my le max 2. Faced only two bugs yet (VOLTE AND BATTERY LIFE). So, is there any ROM in which you found good battery backup and working camera?

I assume the problems your having are on N ROMs? Have you tried to go back to M ? Nougat ROMs look great, but the battery life and camera are not perfect unless you tweak it a ton.

Camera is a problem with every ROM. You can get better battery life with aurel's slimEUI. But EUI apps are unstable.

Please seem to have much less camera problem with EUI base ROMs.
I have used Couco92 EUI ROM and no camera problem as of now.

The feature has to be implemented in the rom itself to work. Many brands include it in their stock roms. Most similar to this that you can find is User space in any AOSP/derivative rom.

You could use a sandbox app of your choice.
Always beware of privacy issues though, sandboxes and other virtualization apps are notorious for their high permission footprint.
Cheers
