Locked/Unlocked Bootloader. What's better? - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Faced with the fact that some firmware support both locked and unlocked bootloader. What do you think, with which bootloader will the same firmware work better? Or is there no difference? It's interesting to know your opinion!

[Q] Prerooted image without unlocked bootloader?

Is it posible to flash a prerooted official image with digital signature (if that exists) without having the bootloader unlocked?
my problem is that i can't unlock my bootloader because of my phone company, but i recently flashed the new ICS to my phone and it worked perfectly. this wasnt a problem apparently because it was signed by sony or something and the bootloader didn't complain. so, does there exist a rooted but official image i can flash without unlocking the bootloader?
Thank you all in advance. im really frustrated by not being able to root my device :crying:
hope somebody can help.

[Q] MIUI, unlock bootloader and Xperia U

Hello!
I installed a few days ago the MIUI rom ported to xperia u for locked bootloaders and is the best rom I ever tryed in this phone (I'm waiting to get more than 10 posts to give the porter my feedback ) but this version (for locked bootloader) got a few bugs like AD2P or sometimes, the wifi.
My question is, is worth to send to sony the xperia u for unlock my bootloader (that is in unlock bootloader allowed = No) to install the MIUI rom for unlocked bootloaders with a especific kernel?
Sorry for my bad english, is my first time in a English forum =(
Greetings

I dont think they would unlock the bootloader for you.........
whereas you can check out this thread for the steps to unlock your bootloader........
I hope you will get the bugs fixed if someone has reported it to the dev..........

This method to unlock the bootloader is too dangerous, and I cant let me the phone brick :S. Some people achieve, with the unlock sim code, that sony unlock his phones. I don't lose anything to probe it.
Anyway, thanks for the info, I don't knew that the unlock of the bootloaders that are "not allowed" were so close.

How safe is unofficial unlock of BL?

Hi,
has anyone analysed what really unofficial of BL do? Is it safe? How can I know that there is not backdoor in it?
Unofficial BL unlock is not harmful or anything. It's just useless to unlock it, as MIUI is more suitable and most camptible one you can find.
This would be really good to know. You're just flashing an older bootloader, which is not locked. The point is, whether this bootloader file is modified or not, and how can we proof this?

Unlocking bootloader

Just a technical question..
Why are bootloaders locked when devices are shipped out by the manufacturers, and after getting it unlocked to update to a new ROM (I want to flash my Z4 Tablet to lineageos) should it stay unlocked or does it need/should be locked again?
Thanks for the clarification is anyone knows
