I have a major issue and concern and would like any assistance I ran better battery stats and I noticed on parial wakelocks that Networl Location Locator) ran for 3hrs and 45 minutes drainingg 10.5 percernt of my juice even when wifi si disabled and the other battery hog is (Network Location Passive Locator). Draing 1 Hr and 50 minutes sucking another 5.1% off my battery life now I now of one way to resolve this and that is to disable in location services (Use Wirless Networks but if I sacrifice that than I am disabling Google now and get none of the cards except sports ...I need please have some technical help from someone that knows a work around without having to disable Google Now...I am open to suggestions and opinions someone please tell me that we have rights and that Google cant drain so much batery I mean at least if it ran like only once every few hours or how about only when were using google now why would it try to update your location when your not moving and the phone is in deep sleep ..So please I am open to all advice I was wondering if there was an app that would kill the partial wakelocks from running in the background when in deep sleep ...Has anyone heard of ds battery saver and would itt do more harm than good ?

I have never been able to figure this out and it has been pissing me off. For some reason when I have Wi-Fi on I have a massive amount of wakelocks. With Wi-Fi off I did not. This has led me to try to disable Wi-Fi in sleep mode. I have it set to NEVER.
Even though it is set to NEVER, Wi-Fi but will active when I have a wakelock. It just reactivates itself even though I have it set not to do so. It reactivates and then my phone wakes up.
So is there any way to log what app is using Wi-Fi and waking up my phone all the time? I don't know why Wi-Fi won't sleep with my phone.
If you are rooted try BetterBatteryStats, otherwise it will be hard to find the reason for the wakelocks.

Thanks. I have been using that. But I can't narrow down what is using my wifi. I even turn off location services.
This only happens because of wifi. Some services or apps are waking the phone up like crazy because they know Wifi is available. But if Wifi is off the phone doesn't wake up as much.

did you check what apps do syncs for data? maybe you can check the period & wakelocks in betterbatterystats when wifi is turned on, the apps should show up or not?
What Router do you have?
Many times, the fault lies with your router.
Try changing Beacon interval and DTIM interval.
Can we have the specific name of the wakelock please?
Hi guys,
I am using micromax canvas 5 e481 android lollipop stock rom and custom recovery rooted xposed. For last few days my phone battery is draining a lot while phone is idle. I installed better battery stats which shows zero deep sleep and 99% as awake. But wakelocks doesn't show any culprit. The wakelock detector shows suspend battery wakelock most of the part. But i can't find any such wakelock on net. The stock battery usage shows phone idle as the 40%. I have used greenify, juice defender, power nap, app ops xposed deep sleep battery saver no wakelock. But nothing is helping. Set wifi and location services to off stopped google play services disabled system update services but still no luck. A few days back while experimenting it started to go in deep sleep but again it disappeared and now no luck at all. Can't attach the screenshots as newbie here. I would greatly appreciate if anybody could help. Thanks.
Use amplify (xposed) app https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-nlpunbounce-reduce-nlp-wakelocks-t2853874

Hey gays..
I have Le eco S3 x626, its great phone but after couple months of use he started to lose battery over night about 15%.
I installed BBS, Wakelock detector and Gsam, but i dont know what to do. I even installed Greenify and enabled aggressive doze but it didnt help.
Does anyone have any solution?
I cant put any link , but here is my facebook post of BBS, Wakelock detector i Gsam.
Go to facebook then type username ScotMcSomxDa, first post you have screenshots.
Using an Amazfit Stratos smartwatch paired with this phone running Amazfit app and Notify & Fitness. I found out that the phone hasn't really be going into deep sleep due to the constant wakelocks and I suspect it may be most definitely due to the smartwatch connection.
In GSam under kernel wakelocks these two would be the highest and their wakelocks times would be similar:
898000.qcom, qup_uart
hal_bluetooth_lock
As there's little information posted about this and I'd ike to find out more before assuming anything more , I'd like to ask is it normal when connected to a smartwatch?

It is easy to find out if the culprits are the ones you suspect. Disable the app and check in GSam.
To maintain connectivity with the watch, the app will hold a wakelock for BT. However, the implementation of the app decides how long it is held. In a badly coded app, it can create an issue.
Hey OP, have you found out any resolution for your problem? I just purchased a Bluetooth earphone and have been seeing the same wakelocks ?????
I've been having the same issue with PE Rom. Android 10. 12/12/2019
