Xiaomi is only allowed to sell Qualcomm products in India according to a source i found; when i was looking on why Xiaomi was banned from selling MediaTek based products (has to do with patents violations).
I want to know, i have a redmi note 4 mediatek. In india it'll be launched with quallcomm. If in the future there are custom roms for the quallcomm model, can i flash it on the mediatek model? Or will i need different roms? Cause if it ain't the same rom i'm going to sell mine

You can't flash roms that were made for the SD version of the phone on the Mediatek version unless you want to brick your device and currently there is no SD version of this phone anyway.
Flipkart says it's coming soon but there is no specified date. And when will the phone become available on sites like AliExpress and gearbest?
the note 5 is the same as the redmi 5 plus. the phone is available in both chinese and global versions on all reputable sellers.

I have ordered xiaomi redmi 5 (chinese version), but camera module had some defect. I disputed with seller and refunded 30$. I have searched for this module around the internet, but did not find the store with international shipping (Kazakhstan), but i found the module for Redmi 5 Plus. if I order the Redmi 5 Plus camera module, will it suit with Redmi 5?

So I have been wondering lately about the codename of my upcoming phone, Redmi Note 9 Pro. Yes, I just bought it (and it will be delivered here soon) and I just want to set it clear if 9s/9 Pro have the same Curtana codename? Because for some reason I also read there's another codename called Joyeuse. And it's confusing me. I bought my upcoming phone from Lazada here in the Philippines. And I just realized I bought a phone without specifying if it has CHINA or GLOBAL ROM, so that's my bad. This is the phone I ordered. (Also Image link doesn't seem to work)
