Anyone knows how to disable the QS Transparency on Oreo 8.1 using last version Nitrogen-OS-O-kenzo-20180108.zip, and the transparency is there, and its
really annoying, and if is too bright outside I can't see noting.
Please, I need to remove it, I really like that ROM, but I can use it like that. :crying::crying:
No Option, as of now.

Can anyone point me in the direction on how to remove the brightness slider from 4.1.1 ROMS? Right now I am running Beans 9 if someone would like to make a zip to get rid of it but I would also like to know how to remove it. That way I can remove it on my own and remove it on any of the roms that I flash. Thanks
Bump, as I would also love this option. I use a third party brightness app that disables the built in brightness, and I hate having a useless slider there.
Once I get some free time, I'm going to unpack a rom and take a look at the xml files to see if there's something obvious, but I'm hoping someone might have a quicker answer.
I'm not sure what ROM you are using but I am on Tweaked and it has an option to hit the slider. Its a buttery smooth rom and tons of customization. Almost as much as an AOSP rom.
Hey all, I've got the latest CM13 nightly on my OPX as well as the Xposed Framework. I've been trying to figure out how to get my notification slider to work as follows:
Alarms Only
Vibrate Only
All Sounds
However, I'm only able to get Alarms Only, Priority Only, and All Sounds. I've tried VibrateMode but it didn't seem to make a difference unless there's some other settings I'd have to change to get that figured out.
Surely someone else has done this before. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
Same here! Waiting for a solution too
It's called VibrateMode, using it myself.
Also, do u guys know a way to remove the priority notifications from the status bar on the OPX? It's utmost annoying
There's a Xposed module for this which only works on Oxygen OS.
DU and Cardinal have options to set notification slider to Vibrate and Silent.
xposed module VibrateMode works like a charm
meets your requirements 100%

Thank you guys. Was looking for that feature for a long time! Really appreciate that hint. :good: Will try it out.
Edit: Installed the module. Don't know if I am doing something wrong, but nothing changed... I'm on Sultans CM 13 Rom. Does anyone knows if it is compatible with this Rom? Any help appreciated.
Hello everyone, I am not a really experienced ROM user/rooter. Two months ago, I tried installing my first ROM to my Mi 8 Lite, Havoc OS. Everything worked great, until I noticed, that Wifi is not working. I also noticed calls are not functioning as well, because when I try to start one, my phone freezes, and I have to restart it. Also a message kept popping up, saying that Xiaomi Parts crashed.
I thought that it's a problem with the Havoc OS Mi 8 Lite port, so I tried installing RR OS as well. The Wifi worked on this one, but calls still froze the phone.
I have no idea what I have done wrong. Some people told me that it is probably a firmware bug, but I don't really know what I can do to fix that.
I really want to switch to an AOSP ROM, because I just purely hate MIUI, the only good thing about it for me, is the gesture navigation, but we'll get an even better in Android Q, once AOSP for q releases, so I really don't mind switching.
Can someone please help me figuring out this problem?

Havoc OS is a little odd. You need to be on stable miui firmware to flash rom. After rom flash latest dev firmware. All should be fine after that. Also with havoc you can use multiple gesture styles. Plus if you add the nav bar toggle in qs you can use both. Enable gestures then toggle nav bar.

Yes, thank you, someone also told me to flash another firmware.
And about the gesture, I know I can use them in havoc, but the problem with them is that they don't have natural animations.
I just seen few people saying that miui 11 for poco has removed navigation bar, its just all just gesture now. Is this true?? Also, if they did removed it, did they added ability to swipe righ/left to trigger one handed mode even in full screen gestures?? You would help me decide whether or not to update, if you could answer this. And sorry, for any mistakes i might have unwilling made. Thanks
I'm on latest miui 11 stable 11.0.5(poco f1) the nav bar is still here, not many changes from miui 10.

Exactly the same here.
Hello!
I was using NitrogenOS rom for almost a year, currently I don't have the time to be flashing, restoring apps and testing all the time and the rom was very good so I kept it until now. A year later and the curiosity for testing the droid 10 made me download HavocOS and EvolutionX, both great but they don't have (or I didn't find) an option to hide the notch. By hidding I don't mean to have a black bar over it and then the notification bar below it, I mean to have the notification bar still there but to keep the background black all the time (during apps, during lock screen, during launcher, etc). This existed in good old NitrogenOS and I got so used to it that I'll go back to the rom if it doesn't exist in any current rom. Mind sharing your insight fellow testers?
