I guess you could flash mankindtws NoCheck recovery and permissive kernel, that should allow you to use adb in recovery.
You should be able to get Swiftkey back that way

It can be removed fine with root.

Swiftkey can only disabled.

I removed it using root Explorer....
I just flashed ota and was able to restore it without losing data

Won't even let me disable it on mine!?

[Q] Root/Superuser Problem Jelly Bean

Hi,
I updated my XT910 to 982.124.14 jelly bean. I protected the root with Voodoo and after the update completed i restored root. Now superuser behaves like my phone isn't rooted(in voodoo says it is).I've tried to update the SU biniares and it fails in gaining root access. I can't even get root permissions to any of my apps. Any solutions?
Thank you

Did you have rebooted after you restore root?

Yes. Strange thing is that only voodoo recognises root. Everything else seems to believe the phone is unrooted. I've tried the terminal and when i press the order su it says permission denied. I've tried superuser update fix and it doesn't seem to find a problem.

I presume that you didn't update the binaries after performing a clean ics install via rsd lite and before installing jb.
I made the exact mistake with my razr and i still remain unrooted....
I believe there isn't a solution to this problem.
Welcome to the world of non rooted RAZR lolz

Restore a cwm backup or flash my themed stock. That's if you have a 769 model.

I thought you had the locked bootloader cwm installed. That error sounds like you remove the setup wizard app.

i figured out how to get passed it. when i was at the setup wizard i had to go to accessibility and instead of the back button tap the arrow on the top left to go to settings and so on. now i just have to find the easiest noob guide to unlock bootloader
No. But I figured away around it. Would you be so nice and show me to the easiest unlocking bootloader tutorial. I've looked at a few and couldn't figure them oit

[Q] Root Issue for Xolo q800

I earlier rooted my cell and it was working fine till yesterday. I reinstalled the DogeMod Rom but now my Xposed Module is not working. I installed root checker from the playstore but it's showing that I am not rooted. I can go into the recovery and have tried flashing supersu files, xposed modules, twrp recovery but still I am unable get it rooted again. I believe that this is a rooting issue only.
Kindly troubleshoot my problem.
Thanking in anticipation.

I reinstalled my rom last night and when I was to reboot again it remained struck there. So first thing in the morning I formatted and installed the rom fresh. It took me about 3 hours to get everything installed and now I am facing the same trouble again.
I am struck at my bootscreen. I rebooted the device when I tried to install a font of Chocooky from Fonter Xposed Module. I am in a big fix now. Please help me now as it is not bypassing the bootscreen :crying:
I am not home and i don t have your device. I just gave a universal root solution. I will try to help when i get home to make some research for your device.

Not getting rooted again!

So I was rooted and I ran a security program just checking viruses and I saw a virus thing called Android exploit root.. So I searched up Android Exploit Root but nothing came up except how to root and other stuff so I just deleted the things that the virus scanner said there were two a system root app and a data file I don't actually know .. but it couldn't be deleted so I installed a system app uninstaller and uninstalled the system app which was called Kinguser and after that I restarted my phone and root was gone I tried to re root but nope it fails I kept on trying but nope.. well I searched up how to unroot and I was supposed to deleted the su file in system/xbin or system/bin but I didn't do that first now I'm stuck... Also I tried to install a stock firmware but I couldn't find any for my phone. My Phone is Galaxy Core Advance! HELP I NEED TO ROOT AGAIN!

Kinguser is the root app hence why you no longer have root. I would suggest flashing something like supersu or even superuser

Not necessarily, if no custom recovery is available you can still root it. You already have had the device rooted once

Like I said I did install it while I had kingroot but deleted after about an hour ago but I think the busybox files are still there in my phone Im not sure still dont have root though
This has worked for me before. Just run the King user app, don't even try to re root it. The app should try to fix itself and *MAY* install your missing files. It has worked for me countless times. Hope it helps.

No. You take a backup of your apps via Titanium Backup, then flash the ROM, restore your apps.

i mean that can i factory reset and then flash it directly or do i have to revert to b330b stock rom first?
